 3rd POV:

The once peaceful world was now in chaos. Panic ensued among the powerless individuals as they scrambled around for shelter, trying hard to keep their offspring alive as thunder struck the earth mercilessly, and the earth split apart, destroying and swallowing buildings without care. All this chaos took place in the lands of Darmagania.

 Rimuru's POV:

I was quietly watching the destructive battle between Guy and Milim. This is something that will surely go down in history. Well, I wanna see if calming down Milim will make me popular in the world. I've been manipulating events in the shadows for too long, and now, it's time to shine.

As I was observing the battle, I realised that they were in a pretty bad situation. The barrier was weakening, the hyper-dense magicules within it were ready to burst out as soon as the barrier broke, and Milim seemed to be getting stronger.

Guy also got stronger but his "Satanael"is a copied version, so, it's slightly inferior, plus Milim is the most enraged one in the group so to sum it up, there is no hope left unless Ramires sucks up all the magicules stored in the barrier. And when I thought there was hope, the thing that made me move my ass was

Milim: [DRAGOOOO NOVAAAAAA!!!!!!]

 3rd POV:

As soon as Milim roared the name of her attack, she released a blast that was made up of hyper-compressed stardust mixed with her aura and the toxic magicule waste towards Guy. He managed to dogde as it was a projectile assault although he escaped barely.

When Ramires saw the attack, she steeled herself to absorb all the toxic magicules that were spreading out and causing chaos. She was about to do just that when she saw a figur dash out towards the attack Milim had fired out.

She screamed for the unknown individual to get out, but his next action made her shut up

???:[Devour It All':"Azathoth"]

As soon as those words were spoken, a blueish-purple vortex came out of the individual's hand to swallow the attack.

???: [Reap the life of it all"Asura"]

After that, a purple sphere the size of a tennis ball appeared on the other palm of the individual, devouring all the pungent magicules that remained. Milim's attack was perfectly absorbed, and the magicules that escaped earlier were all devoured along with any form of energy.

All the people that were present turned to look at the new stranger and what they saw was a blue-haired person with an androgynous face, leaning more on the feminine side with golden eyes that seemed to pierce through one's soul. He wore a white sleeveless shirt, a black baggy pants with a red belt tied to his waist and black boots.

Everyone seemed shocked at his short display of power, as he had singlehandedly done what they all couldn't do for days. Even Milim paused her actions and glared at the newcomer wearily before dashing to assault him. As she did this, everyone snapped back to reality and tried to see what the stranger would do.

Milim readied her stardust-coated fist and aimed straight for Rimuru's face. He decided to dodge the attack and distanced himself from her. He was pondering about something before snapping his finger, and after that, a barrier was formed to separate them from the outside world.

The barrier sucked up the magicules left in the atmosphere, making it stronger every passing second. The people who saw this were shocked again at the barrier that was set up. Rimuru then made a fighting stance, signifying that he was ready to fight. Seeing this, Milim immediately appeared out of thin air behind Rimuru and began using her tenma blade to try to pierce him consecutively.

Sensing this, he reacted quickly by turning around and parrying her attacks with his own whilst dodging sideways to prevent the unblocked attacks to hit him. They separated and clashed again, exchanging slashes and blows.

Milim used her blade to aim for Rimuru's neck, but he ducked and appeared beside her and slashed at her abdomen. She blocked his attack and used her leg to attack his head, but he performed a backflip whilst using his hand to stand and made a spinning kick.

Milim blocked the attack with her arm, but she realised that with each attack of his, a significant amount of magicules were stolen. She backed away and glared at Rimuru furiously as she became more weary of him.

Rimuru's POV:

It seems that she is now fighting carefully. She was being irrational before, but now, she is trying to play it safe.

Rimuru: ( Hey Ciel-san, if I keep overpowering her, do you think that she'll come down? )

Ciel: ( It will only serve to annoy her more. Besides, even if the draining power of"Azathoth"is high, she can still recover within a few minutes unless you attempt to deal with her during her recovery time.)

Rimuru: ( Huh. How high is the draining power?)

Ciel: ( Five percent per each strike. )

Rimuru: ( What!! It's that high?! Doesn't that mean that if I infuse my ultimate skill with my every strike up to twenty times, then I can kill anyone?! )

Ciel: ( It varies. In her case, her EV has risen to 298,122,441 million. So, with every strike, you could absorb an EV of 29,812,244.1 with each attack. It depends on the individual. If it is a person with an EV less than 29 million, you can kill the person with a single strike. )

Rimuru: (*Sigh*. Then please make sure to control the maximum magicule amount I absorb for me. )

Ciel: ( Hai!. )

With that, Rimuru dashed towards Milim at a blinding speed, and ud sword strikes to attack her relentlessly. Rimuru used a sword he created against Milim to weaken her.

Rimuru: [Nihility Collapse:Seas of Clouded Mist.]

A sword style he learned from the demon slayer manga. He replicated the mist breathing style and also replaced the mist with turn null, making a nihilistic mist that devours both physical and spiritual matter appear. He used the attack on Milim and severed her left arm. She tried to use her regeneration but saw that the turn null was devouring her arm to her shoulder.

She cut off the part where the energy had not yet reached and quickly regenerated her arm back.

She tried to use a magic bullet infused with stardust to create an omnidirectional attack, but he released his aura whilst infusing turn null with it, successfully nullifying the attack.

She got frustrated and used [Drago Buster] on him. She made the attack surround him like an orbit. The attack rotated so fast that it cause a stardust barrier, preventing both movement and vision.

She fired her attack, [Drago Nova] towards the stardust circle. Rimuru used {Universal Perception} to see through her plan and used "Azathoth"to to create a blueish-purple smokescreen to spread out and isolate the attack into the {Imaginary Space} for analysis.

Seeing this, Milim charged angrily towards Rimuru and assaulted him recklessly. Aiming for his face, she didn't realise a fist also aimed for her abdomen, but it was too late. Rimuru used his subskill {Imaginary Collapse} along with {Soul Gluttony} and inflicted the most powerful blow Milim ever faced.

This was an art created by Rimuru called [Void Fist]. The attack did not only penetrate her armor along with her body, but it also drained a huge amount of magicules from her. The attack led Milim to an unconscious state as her skill effect also faded, and the battle was finally over.

3rd POV:

As the battle concluded, Rimuru found himself carrying Milim as he witnessed tears falling out of her eyes. He knew how pained she was at the loss of her only friend. He unconsciously patted her head gently, trying to ease her stiff state.

Although a total stranger to her, Milim felt warmth and comfort from the unknown individual, and she decided to fall asleep within the stranger's embrace. The others that were watching the spectacle were frozen with shock, but they were confused at how Milim was at ease in the stranger's embrace.

Guy took the first step to address the matter as everyone just watched without moving an inch.

Guy: Oi, I don't know who you are, but you've got a whole lot of explanation to do.

Rimuru just stared back at him and noted. He looked at the others who expected an explanation. But he had nothing to give, so he decided to buy time to think of something.

Rimuru: I understand, but I'm sure you know that this is not the right place, right?

After hearing this, the others understood what he meant because there were some unknown individuals who were also watching the commotion. Any information leakage would not be good for them.

Guy: Then why don't you come over to the ice continent. I have a place over there.

Rimuru: Isn't it weird that you live in a place like that

Rimuru decided on feigning ignorance to make it seem like he knew nothing about them.

Guy: You say that when your whole existence screams weirdness.

Rimuru: Hahaha. I see that your sense of humor is terrible.

(Heh. I'll show you from the beginning that I ain't no pushover. )

Guy: Tch. Let's just get going.

(If he was a weakling, I would have made sure to torture him beyond reasoning. )

After their short taunt, Guy teleported everyone to the ice palace. Velzard saw them. She did not expect her sister with Rudra to come, but she was more interested in the other unknown guests who did not emit a single

shed of aura.

Normally, all lifeforms emit aura even if it was as little as an atom because of the presence of magicules in the world. The only way to not emit aura is by concealing it, and that is not something that could be done by simply trying it.

Even she could not totally conceal it, but she could reduce the emission of it to the level where one would mistake it as the same with the magicules in the atmosphere, which was extremely light.

Velzard: Hm. It seems like we have a new guest.

Guy: Yes. Let's all settle down first. Rain. Take Milim to one of the guest rooms.

Rain: Yes, Guy-sama.

They all got seated on the chair brought by Misery.

Guy: Now that we are all here, I think you should start your explanation....now!

Rimuru: Geez. Alright, my name is Rimuru Tempest. I hope I can get all of yours.

Guy: I am Guy Crimson, and this is my partner Velzard. The one beside you is Ramires. Finally, the blondie is Rudra with his partner Velgrynd.

Rudra: Tch. Red ass.

Rimuru sighed, witnessing the relationship between Guy and Rudra for the very first time.

Ramires: Can you explain your origin? I have never sensed someone as strong as you, yet you just appeared out of nowhere and singlehandedly took care of Milim with no problem. What's more, Milim seems to feel comfortable around you, which I saw when you hugged her, but I can swear that you two have never met before.

Rimuru: Fine~. I am a magic-born creature. I don't really know who my parents were, but I am sure that I was born from the magicules of an extremely strong creature. I just woke up one day and found myself in the Jura Forest, so you could say that I am a sentient, unique lifeform.

Velzard: Really? Then which type of monster are you?

Rimuru: I am a slime!

After saying that, Rimuru transformed into his slime form, shocking the life out of everyone.

Velgrynd: What! Don't fuck with me. A slime!

Rimuru: You got a problem with it?

Ramires: No. It's just.....unexpected.

Guy: Unexpected my ass! How is a slime as strong as a true dragon.!?

Rimuru: Don't look at me. I was also born near the dawn of creation too. You could say that I'm older than Velzard-San.

Rudra: That doesn't explain your extraordinary strength.

Rimuru: Well, slimes are known for devouring most things they see. Imagine how strong a sentient slime that has been eating strong monsters since the dawn of creation till now would be.

Guy: I still have some doubts but there are more important things at hand so I'll just forget it.

Milim is currently resting, but we don't know whether she'll throw another tantrum when she sees her dead pet drag-

Rudra: Wait! The chaos dragon!! We totally forgot about-

Velgrynd: Well, it's with him.

Velgrynd turned her head towards Rimuru.

Rudra: Wait. You took care of it? Well that's one problem solved.

Velgrynd: Actually, this same Rimuru handled the chaos dragon on his own.

Guy:.....

Rudra:....

Velzard:... You know what, I give up. He's not someone you mix with common sense.

Rimuru was lucky enough to escape a whole day of lectures from Guy. He decided to stay until Milim woke up. Rudra attempted to bring Rimuru to his side but was ultimately shut down.

Witnessing this, Guy couldn't help but to laugh his life away as he mocked Rudra for his failed attempt. Rimuru had already decided that he would become an ancient demon lord. He preferred it to Rudra's side.

Fun fact: He also didn't want to deal with certain red Dragon's antiques

After a few days Milim finally woke up. She was unfamiliar with the new place and decided to move around. She then met Rain who took her to the balcony for discussion.

She wanted to reject it immediately but stopped when she heard that the one that defeated her was participating. And that brings us back here.

There is a meeting between all those connected to the recent incident with the exception of those from the eastern empire and Rimuru who went out for a breather.

Guy: Milim. I'm sure you are feeling pretty sad right now, but we need you to make a decision here.

Milim:....Alright.

Guy: Great. We have decided to form a council of demon Lord's who will oversee the world. I think I already explained the reason for it along with our duties. So I want to invite you to join this group. If you join us, you will be granted a place where you can create your own territory and rule over majins. What do you think?

Milim: Hmmmmm.Okay then. I'll join. But do you know where that person I fought with is?

Velzard: He said that he'll be back soon. He went out to do something.

Milim nods to this and wanted to stand up to leave but Rimuru appeared before she could do so.

Rimuru: Hm? Oh. You're awake.

Milim: Errrrm...

Rimuru: Ah! I forgot. My name is Rimuru ,Rimuru Tempest. You might not remember, but I'm the one you last fought with.

Milim: Ooooh! You're the really strong guy I fought with!?

Rimuru: Yeah. By the way, I have something for you. Wanna see?

Milim: You have something for me? Is it food? Is it tasty!?

Rimuru: Nope. It's way better.

Rimuru removes Milim's pet dragon from his {Imaginary Space} who was asleep.

Milim: Wah! No way, is that..... him?

Rimuru just nods and gave him to Milim. Milim was so happy and she hugged him tightly. The force she used to hug him was too much so he woke up.

???: Kyuu!!!

Milim: Ah! Sorry, sorry!

Rimuru: Although I saved him, he's pretty weak now so I suggest you name him.

Milim nods happily. She then took a thinking pose and after a few seconds-

Milim: Aha! I've got it! I'll name you Gaia.

With that, the newly named Gaia was enveloped in a small cocoon of magicules and after a few seconds, the magicules were absorbed and Gaia gained a new appearance.

He now had a brown skin with a single red horn on his forehead. Black spikes sprouted out of his neck in a straight line all the way to the tip of his tail.

Rimuru: Hey there Gaia. I think you should hide those spikes if you want some free cuddles.

Gaia did just that and he was immediately hugged by Milim again. Seeing this, Rimuru smiled watching his soon to be bestie happy.

Milim: You said your name was Rimuru right? Thanks a lot! I don't know what I would have done without him.

Rimuru: Don't sweat the small stuff. All I did was to help someone in need. If you need anything else, just ask and I'll help with it.

Milim: Really!? Then let's be besties!!

Rimuru: Huh.

Milim: You don't wanna be my bestie?

Rimuru: Oi! Oi! Oi! I didn't say anything like that! Yeah. We're besties alright! Besties!!

Milim: Yeah! So, let's go fighting again.

Guy: Nope! Unfortunately, I can't have you do that. We can't just start fights that could potentially destroy the world.

Milim: Aah. Such a bummer.

Rimuru: Well there are other things we could do that are more interesting than fighting. Follow me, I'll show yah.

Milim: Really, then what are you waiting for, let's get going!

Rimuru took Milim out of the Ice Palace whilst Guy was hoping that they do not cause any more chaos.

Guy: Ah shit! I forgot to ask him to join us!
