Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 435: Filming

After asking a few more questions, Daniel grabbed the Corruption Worshiper by the neck, took a step, and suddenly appeared in the sky.

He flew toward the destination with unbelievable and terrifying speed and, in just a few seconds, reached a large mountain and hovered about a kilometer away.

"Is that it?"

"Yes, sir," the Corruption Worshiper answered fearfully. He could only mourn for his comrades.

Daniel glanced at the mountain and checked it with his spiritual senses. It was clear many arrays were protecting the mountain, and there were even a number of systems capable of blocking spiritual senses. None of that mattered to him; they were worthless. His spiritual sense ignored all those limits and reached the mountain's core.

With a quick look he confirmed there was no real threat inside, then pulled a small item shaped like a drone from his inventory. Much smaller than a real drone — palm-sized and round — he fiddled with it until he found the power switch.

He turned the device on, set it to record (it also had a streaming option, but he didn't need that right now), and put on a black mask made of death energy to cover his face.

"Hello to all my dear viewers. This is the first video for my channel. I didn't have many ideas for the debut, then luck smiled on me," he said, glancing at the Corruption Worshiper.

"Who would've thought I'd run into Corruption Worshipers? Well, maybe I did," he chuckled, then pointed at the mountain. "Lately I found out these Corruption Worshipers build hidden bases inside mountains. I found one of them completely by chance."

"As a hero with a strong sense of justice, how could I ignore those devils? So I decided to destroy them." He accelerated and flew right above the mountain.

The camera hovered beside him in perfect sync. Once he reached the mountaintop, Daniel raised his hand and suddenly a massive surge of energy erupted. Using mana and death energy he formed a gigantic hand above the mountain, then brought it down with a gesture. The hand struck and obliterated the mountain.

All the protective arrays were destroyed in an instant; nothing remained. Screams and shouts from the Corruption Worshipers echoed. A few of them died in the initial strike, but most managed to flee out of the mountain. They gasped for breath, then saw Daniel in the sky and flew back to surround him.

"Looks like some of them were lucky enough not to die in that attack," he said with a sigh, taking in the number of Corruption Worshipers now encircling him.

"What kind of bastard are you? How dare you attack us!" one of the Corruption Worshipers roared with rage.

"He… he's an [Infidel]," another said, and others narrowed their faces.

"An [Infidel]? You came to your grave with your own two feet, bastard!"

"Today will be your last day!"

"I think some mosquitoes are buzzing too loudly," Daniel yawned, then threw the Corruption Worshiper he'd been holding toward the rest.

The Corruption Worshipers scowled and lunged to grab him; the man who'd been thrown was relieved to be free. But in an instant his body began to dry out and then exploded, releasing a massive wave of energy.

The wave rattled the air and killed several Corruption Worshipers who were in its path. The remaining ones — injured or unharmed — retreated hundreds of meters in panic and then stared at Daniel with horror. They looked at him like a monster, though their killing intent still burned.

"Scared? Want to kill yourselves now, or should I do it for you?" Daniel taunted.

"If it wasn't for our base leader being away, how could you have had the nerve to be so reckless?" one spat.

"He's not here now. Even if he were, it wouldn't change the outcome — all of you would be dead," Daniel said.

"Humph. Even without him, we won't let you leave today." They summoned weapons and prepared to fight.

"Activate the buff."

One of them waved his hand and a shining light enveloped the Corruption Worshipers. The wounded among them healed within seconds, and everyone's power at least doubled. Their bodies bulked up and their energy surged.

"Oh? A buffer? I haven't seen one of those in a long time," Daniel said with a smile that the mask hid. The Corruption Worshipers charged. Their attacks landed lazily on him — and, to their shock, Daniel offered no defense.

When their strikes hit, their expressions darkened. Nothing happened to this man; it was as if they'd struck a mountain. They couldn't even push him an inch.

"Is that all you've got?" Daniel said lazily, feigning a yawn.

"This is just the beginning!" one of them shouted and pulled his spear back.

[Mountain-Sunderer Spear] — his spear suddenly increased tenfold and became infused with intense Corruption energy. The surrounding air trembled. The other Corruption Worshipers did the same and unleashed their strongest skills at once.

Daniel watched them. He didn't want to drag the fight out; besides, it was good for his channel's prestige to show off.

[Crimson Judgment]

The sky turned blood-red and thousands of swords made of blood appeared. The world shook; it felt as if everything might collapse. The Corruption Worshipers saw death in those blades and panicked,

The Corruption Worshipers, terrified by the attack, stopped their assault and activated all their defensive skills.

Some even fled in different directions trying to survive the strike, but their fate had already been decided.

And that fate was death.

swords fell and slaughtered them all.

"That was easier than I thought. Corruption Worshipers aren't as powerful as they boast," Daniel laughed aloud, then moved the drone camera closer.

"Hope you enjoyed the footage," he said and reached to switch it off — but then he sensed a powerful aura approaching from the distance.

He frowned, but after a moment decided against stopping the recording.

"Looks like their leader's back. The real battle's still left," he told the camera.
