Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 387: Unable

"Just make you move?" Daniel asked with a bit of awe. Still, he wasn't stupid enough to think the prophet was saying this out of arrogance or pride.

This man was a god! A real god. And no matter how much he limited his power, in the end, he was still a god.

And Daniel was nothing but a mortal. No matter how powerful he was, defeating a god was beyond his reach.

The only thing he couldn't understand was why, as a god, Zirham seemed so ordinary.

"Don't overthink it. What you're seeing is only my will. This body is no different from that of a mortal. This isn't even a billionth of my true power and presence… the world can't withstand the presence of gods—it would collapse." The prophet answered indifferently.

"You just read my mind, didn't you?"

"Of course not. Your question was written all over your face."

"In any case—you'll have five strikes. Five times you can hit me, and I won't defend, won't fight back, won't use any skills. After those five, if you still can't move me even one centimeter, then I'll begin the fight." Zirham spoke calmly.

Daniel swallowed hard and nodded, preparing himself for the first strike.

The Heaven's Honor sword trembled in his hand, ready to strike.

He took a deep breath and activated [Strike of Destruction].

A destructive aura enveloped the blade. With a swift motion, he brought it down upon the prophet.

The ground beneath them shattered. Sand exploded outward like waves of the sea.

But the prophet?

Unmoving. He hadn't shifted even an inch.

"Not a bad strike, but it could've been better—especially if you merged it with Eternity." The prophet shook his head.

Daniel nodded, not too disappointed. He hadn't expected the attack to work anyway. He mostly wanted to test the prophet's physical resilience.

And he had to admit—the prophet's body was tougher than a mountain. In fact, it felt tougher than the entire planet itself.

This time, with [Bloody Shadow Dance], he vanished and reappeared from multiple shadows across the desert. At the same time, he filled his blade with [Strike of Destruction].

Dozens of slashes from every direction fell upon the prophet like a black-and-red storm.

The desert sands shot into the sky, the sound of blades striking rang out deafeningly.

But when the dust cleared…

The prophet was still standing there. Unmoved. Not even a trace in the sand.

Even so, Daniel didn't hesitate. He attacked again—this time uniting body and mind.

With a roar, he unleashed [Death Roar]. The mental roar of death shook the desert. The prophet listened to it in silence.

At the same time, Daniel activated [Eyes of Destruction].

Beams of annihilation fired from his eyes, merging with the strike of his sword under [Strike of Destruction].

He didn't forget to amplify it further with death energy and his blade's destructive aura.

The sky split apart. The sands burned in black flames.

But the prophet still stood there. Unmoving. Calm.

"That was your third strike. Better than the last ones." The prophet nodded.

"What is your body even made of?" Daniel sighed.

That last attack was strong enough to kill a Mid A-rank. And yet, it hadn't left a scratch on this man.

[Blood Judgment].

The sky turned crimson, and countless swords of blood formed.

Then he stretched his hand and activated [Eternal Burning Sun].

A small blazing sun formed in his palm.

With one motion, he fused it with his destructive blade and hurled it forward.

At the same time, the blood swords in the sky rained down toward the prophet.

The sun and the swords struck him together. A massive explosion erupted. The desert burned under the flames, the sands melting into glass.

But when the fire subsided…

The prophet still stood there. Unmoved. Not even his robe was scorched.

"That was the fourth strike."

"Damn it." Daniel cursed. He had only one chance left—after that, the prophet would finally attack.

And he really didn't want to imagine what would happen if the prophet attacked. The thought alone was terrifying.

This was his last chance. He gathered every skill he had.

[Thunder of Lost Dreams]

[Glass Domain]

—to weaken the prophet's power. Though he doubted it would work, it was free to use, so why not?

[Eternal Judgment]

[Strike of Destruction]

[Eyes of Destruction]

He shouted, pouring all his power into a single strike.

Thunder, flame, shadow, destruction, death—all merged into one blade.

The desert exploded. The sky cracked. The sound of the strike echoed for kilometers.

But when the silence returned… the prophet was still standing in the exact same spot. Unmoved.

Not even one centimeter.

"That was the fifth strike."

"Now, it's my turn." The prophet smiled. A shiver ran down Daniel's spine.

With desperate speed, Daniel unleashed [Thunder of Lost Dreams]. The sky split apart, and crimson lightning crashed toward the prophet. Even one moment of shutting down the prophet's mind would be enough.

But the prophet simply raised his hand. [Eternal Decay].

Before the lightning could even reach him, it withered away, decaying into nothing.

But Daniel didn't give up—he struck with his sword, shaping the remnants of the lightning into a blade and slashing it at the prophet.

The explosion thundered. The sky trembled.

But when the dust settled… the prophet was still there. Unmoved. Not even one centimeter.

"Interesting. You used your brain. But absolute power overcomes any intelligence." The prophet said, then activated [Eternal Decay] on Daniel.

Suddenly, Daniel's entire body began to rot and collapse. Agonizing pain consumed him as every part of him decayed, breaking down completely.

Without wasting time, he cast Mana Healing, but it had no effect. In the end, he was forced to use the Law of Death to kill off his organs entirely.

After his organs died, he used Mana Healing again, regenerating new ones.

"You're a monster." For the first time, Daniel felt like he was standing before a monster that could never be moved or defeated.
