Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 376: A Battle With A Hero

"Hero of Destruction? Kron Garaldin?" Daniel was stunned for a moment.

He hadn't expected that his very first opponent would actually be a Hero—and not just any Hero, but one known for his destructive power.

However, Daniel didn't know much about the Hero of Destruction. In fact, it was his first time hearing his full name.

Garaldin was one of the Four Great Families. Andreas had explained them to him before.

Still, it had been a long time since he had heard anything about those families. Even at the auction of the House of Ten Thousand Treasures, only the Lionheart family had taken part.

For now, he set his thoughts aside and drew his sword, The Heavens Honor.

The moment it appeared, it radiated an overwhelming aura of dominance, as if it wanted to assert its superiority.

"That sword? You're the Heir of Death?" Kron asked with a trace of curiosity as soon as he saw it.

"That's right, Mr. Kron," Daniel didn't deny it. There was no reason to hide anything here.

"Interesting. Now I understand why you were able to awaken a trace of my awareness," the Hero of Destruction nodded.

"I want to see how powerful the Heir of that man really is. Do you truly deserve to be called the Heir of a Hero or not?"

"How about we test it?" Daniel laughed. He wasn't worried about his opponent's strength at all. Luckily, they were on the same rank—both Peak Rank B.

"Of course. If you can defeat me, you may continue. Otherwise, you will be defeated. And if you win, I promise to reward you properly."

Kron began the fight with [Obliterating Void Fist].

His punch tore through the air, and a black void appeared, like a bottomless pit in space, disintegrating everything around it into dust. The void rushed toward Daniel, as if it wanted to tear his very existence apart.

Daniel defended with [Demonic Twilight Shield].

A shield of demonic and silver energy formed around him, blocking the void and even reflecting part of its destructive energy back into Kron's body.

"Demonic energy? Impossible… You're clearly human, so how can you use demonic energy?" the Hero of Destruction frowned, as if he had seen something that defied all logic.

Throughout his life, he had seen countless prodigies—even himself was known as the peak of prodigies.

Yet he had never once thought that a human could wield demonic energy. Could it be that the world had changed this much in all this time?

"Well, I'm a little special," Daniel laughed, and then he moved with [Bloody Shadow Dance].

His body merged into the shadows of the crystal trees, and in an instant, he appeared behind Kron.

But with his experience, Kron had already anticipated this move and countered with [Corruption's Grasp].

His fist struck Daniel's chest, and destructive energy slithered into his body like a venomous serpent, making his body falter for a brief moment.

Daniel healed himself with [Mana Healing] and roared with [Death Roar].

The black roar disrupted Kron's mind, as if death itself were whispering in his ears.

Kron quickly took advantage of this moment and attacked with [Wave of Ruin].

A storm of destructive energy split the ground apart and surged toward Daniel, scattering magical mist and shattering trees in its path.

Daniel floated away from the attack with [Aspect of Gravity – Law of the Moon].

"Law of the Moon? So you can use both the Law of the Moon and the Law of Death, and it's clear your comprehension of both is quite high," Kron praised.

Now he was beginning to understand why his old friend had chosen this boy as his Heir.

"That's not all," Daniel responded with [Strike of Destruction].

The Heavens Honor gleamed with an aura of black and silver destruction, as if Death and the Moon had fused into its blade. His strike clashed with Kron's fist, and the destructive energy sent Kron flying backward.

Kron countered with [Broken Reflection].

The reflection of his fist appeared and repeated itself several times, as if destruction itself had been copied through time.

"So, you can also use Destruction skills, though only in a limited way. If you could use the Law of Destruction, their power would definitely be much greater," the Hero of Destruction explained with a nod.

Daniel also nodded in agreement. He didn't have a source to learn the Law of Destruction yet.

With [Aspect of Time Cycle – Law of the Moon], he slowed time slightly, then created shadows with [Shadow Weapons] to destroy the reflections.

Kron responded with [Void Eruption].

A void erupted from the ground, sucking away Daniel's energy as if trying to annihilate his mind and cripple him. But Daniel steadied himself with [Aspect of Mysticism – Law of the Moon].

Daniel countered with [Eyes of Destruction].

His eyes glowed like black-and-red suns, releasing beams of annihilation that struck Kron like a deadly storm, shattering the crystal ground and carving a deep wound into his chest.

Kron roared with [Eternal Destruction Breath].

His breath annihilated the space itself, trapping Daniel in an endless abyss.

Daniel laughed and used a new skill he had obtained—[Glass Domain].

Suddenly, a vast domain of the Law of Death spread out, resembling the world of the dead itself, as if death originated from it.

"Interesting. Kid, it seems you're hiding far too many surprises," Kron laughed as he felt his power cut in half.

Even though he could resist it, he didn't try to suppress the domain, as it would only put him at a disadvantage.

Then he roared and once again unleashed his full power with [Obliterating Void Fist]. Daniel, sensing the danger, defended with [Demonic Twilight Shield], but Kron's pressure forced him back and slammed him hard into the ground.

"Damn it, was that his power even after it was supposedly halved?" Daniel didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Still, he decided to end the fight quickly.

He activated [Eternal Judgement]. Though he didn't use his full strength, he channeled both the Law of Death and the Law of the Moon into it.

Especially with the domain already boosting his power.

Blood poured down from the sky, and a massive bloody sword formed in the heavens, radiating silver light, black darkness, and a destructive force that struck Kron. The blow split the ground and slammed him into the crystal wall, leaving a deep wound across his body.

Kron collapsed, unable to move. Meanwhile, Daniel, exhausted, healed himself with [Mana Healing].

"I admit defeat," the Hero of Destruction sighed and said.
