AWAKENING - the adventure

After a wholesome and fun night, the group are making their way to the city hall to join the wedding of Mrs. Mitsunaga's daughter, who is ready to become Mrs. Bastante in the near future.

Before entering, the group splits up to quickly pursue things before the wedding.

The city hall is decorated with white flowers, Kagetsu flowers to be specific, at the front of the entrance stands a servant, calmly waiting for someone.

Servant: "Welcome young master, your parents await you inside"

Ichiro: "M-My parents are here?"

Servant: "Yes young master, also your two sisters too"

Ichiro: "You got to kidding me"

???: "Big bro Ichiro, there you are"

A female childvoice says from inside the building,

Ichiro: "H-Hello Yuna"

A young girl with long black hair bound to the top, with Kagetsu flowers tied to it, wearing a pink Kimono with Kagetsu flowers engraved in it, walks out the hall, having a lollipop in her mouth, revealing herself,

Yuna: "You were gone quite a while big bro, mom didn't want to tell me why you were gone but after threaten Tadashi with eternal suffering, he told me what you did"

Ichiro: "Poor Tadashi, from a war-hero to the bodyguard of the chaos-twins"

Yuna: "Don't let Rina hear what you said, or she will cry again"

A girl, nearly looking exactly like Yuna reveals herself, wearing the exact same dress and having the exact same hairstyle, also having a lollipop.

Rina: "B-Big bro, where have you been?"

She says pouting,

Ichiro: "I-I had to help decorate the city hall, R-Rina, so please don't cry"

Rina: "Y-Yuna is B-Big bro saying the truth?"

Yuna: "Yes Rina, Ichiro really had to help decorate"

Rina: "T-Then I will forgive you big bro"

Ichiro: "If you two are here outside, this means Tadashi is also here"

Tadashi Taketa, a further relative of Ichiro, now an older man, once and still is adored as a war hero in the Taketa clan. Still possesing great strengh he now works as Yuna's and Rina's bodyguard.

Tadashi: "Young master, it has been long, I hope you kept training"

Tadashi, a silvery gray, cut short but not styled, giving him a natural yet disciplined

appearance. A neatly trimmed beard, streaked with white that frames his strong

jawline. His piercing eyes are dark, sharp and calculating, those that can see thorugh lies and into the hearts of those he faces.

Despite his old age, Tadashi's physique is still imposing. Broad-shouldered and barrel-chested, muscular arms and hands bearing scars from countless battles, his body remains powerful, a testament to years of rigorous training and discipline.

Wearing a dark-grey Hakama, he approaches Ichiro,

Ichiro: "How could I have forgotten to train, knowing you would have punished me if I would, master"

Ichiro laughs together with Tadashi,

Tadashi: "I heard what you did young master, you really had the elders sweating"

Ichiro: "Talking like you weren't once one of them. Wish I could have seen their faces, they think they are important because of

their high positions in the council"

Tadashi: "Don't bother, as long young master Akihiko is the shogun, they will always be on the edge of their seats"

Both start laughing again,

Rina: "Y-Yuna, I want to laugh too but I can't understand the joke"

Yuna: "Rina, your brain is too small to comprehend the jokes of an adult"

Rina: "O-Okay Y-Yuna, If you say so"

Tadashi picks up both of them, carrying them on each of his shoulders, both start giggling,

Tadashi: "You should go in and talk with your father, he will be happy to see you after all this time"

Ichiro: "Yeah, but first I will have to bear moms scolding"

…

Emilia: "Henry, have you seen the clothes the servants brought us for the wedding?"

Emilia shouts from a dressing room into the distance, getting dressed-up by three servants,

Henry: "Yeah I have seen them, how did we get them?"

Henry answers from the distance, also getting dressed by three servants,

Emilia: "They gave us them as a present since we kind of protected the city"

Henry: "Cool, but why do we have to wear them and not our regular clothes?"

Emilia: "Because we are going to a wedding, idiot"

Emilia walks out in a pink Houmongi with blue patterns and her hair tied to the back,

Henry walks out in a blue Kimono,

Emilia: "Don't I look good?"

Emilia smiles, posing in front of a mirror, Henry makes a saddened face while looking at himself,

Henry: "I want my clothes"

Emilia: "Shut up Henry, wait for after the wedding".

…

Lenny: "Big bro, we should head for the city hall now"

Lenny wears a blue Kimono, the same as Henry but in his size,

Jack: "Yeah wait, we still have time"

Jack also wears the same Kimono in his size, both of them are outside in the city, walking around,

Jack: "Everyone in the city walks around in Kimonos all of a sudden, even those who

have no roots to the Kagetsu Kingdom"

Lenny: "Yeah i think It's tradition here to wear them on the day of an important event"

Jack: "I know, I still find it funny"

Lenny: "Anyways, we should head to the city hall now"

Jack: "If you know the way, sure"

Lenny: "You don't?"

Jack: "Why do you think we are walking around?"

Lenny: "We are so lost"

…

After a while, the wedding has ended. It was a beautiful event, filled joy and tears, with traditions of both the Mitsunaga family and Bastante family, now having strengthened their relationship with the wedding.

Henry is outside, looking at dark night-sky, filled with bright shining stars, feeling the cool breeze, touching his face.

He moves his head down, now starring at Ichiro who is in the distance, talking to his mother, an middle-aged beautiful Kagetsu woman, wearing a pink Kimono with white Kagetsu flowers engraved in it, having her hair tied with golden accessories, hugging Ichiro and saying something to him.

After a while, Ichiro walks to Henry, relieved from his mothers scolding.

Henry: "How was it?"

Ichiro: "Worse then I expected, by the way, I see so all four of us had the partner-look Kimono"

Henry: "This wasn't your idea?"

Ichiro: "No, Mrs. Mitsunaga organized them including the whole wedding, I had nothing to do with our clothes"

Henry: "We should all thank her for all she did for us"

Ichiro: "Don't thank her too early, she still wants to talk to you"

Henry: "TO ME? WHY?"
