Avatar: Tower Master

Chapter 23: Guild: Part Two

Walking along the fourteenth floor I observed my handiwork. Blue crystals were grown out of the walls and floor giving off a slight light. Fortunately, nobody was on the floors to see me do this at the moment.

"This should do" I said to myself while moving out of the way of a giant ant. "Hmm"

With a new idea I looked at the wall to my left and used my new building function to carve a large room about thirty feet in each direction. It took a few hours to make it seem normal but it still had some man-made feeling to it. Then I opened my weapon creation system and started designing a sword. The blade itself was made of steel and besides the pointed tip was straight. The guard was a brown rectangle and the leather handle had two gold studs on it. To top it off I put a ball pommel of gold on the end. Topping it off with magic to make it studier and sharper as well as to prevent decay. I raised a small platform in the middle then wrong on the 'It's dangerous to go alone take this'. Holding back my laughter I made sure to hide the entrance a bit better and left the tower towards the entrance.

"Hahah" I laughed wheezing "That is going to be funny"

Maybe I can make stuff like this a recurring theme. Just imagine throwing random items that only make sense to me in the tower. It would be nonstop entertainment.

Having given the Pakku, Dao Mu, and Go Rehi a few days to sort things out I made my way back to the guild building. Walking back upstairs I knocked on the door to make sure they were in there.

"Come in" I heard Pakku's voice.

Entering I found Go Rehi and Pakku sitting at the desk going over some papers.

"You guys finish what was left" I asked.

"It was a lot of work as most of it was just a bare bones idea but yes, we got it done" Pakku answered being the most blunt of the three.

"Haha, yep have you had the chance to try out the metal carvers" I asked.

"Here" Go Rehi said, throwing me a plate.

The Silver plate was much the same as I left it except the blank side now had some information on it.

Name: Go Rehi

Level: 17

Class: Earthbender

Abilities: [Stone skin] [Compact rock]

Skills: [Spears 4] [war hammer 5] [Earthbending 6

Highest floor: Fourteen

"Skills?" I questioned.

Pakku answered "We decided to let the person include any skills that they wish to share"

"Good idea, When do we open for business"

"Anytime as soon as Goshen is informed about his position" Go Rehi answered.

"You haven't told him?" I asked "That seems like a oversight"

"We wanted to tell him when there is actually a position for him to take," Go Rehi answered.

"Fair enough, I should inform him myself, has he been told what this organization is about?"

"Of course," Go Rehi said "He was integral in sorting out the logistics, we just haven't told him his position in it yet. Currently he thinks he'll be an assistant to the guild master"

"Alright, where is he? I want it to open as soon as possible" I asked.

Just then the door behind me opened and Goshen entered along with Dao Mu and a third person I couldn't see behind them.

"Ahh, there you are," I said, looking at Goshen then finally saw the women standing behind him.

"Who is this?" I asked.

Goshen turned then introduced "This is Lian, she will be handling the making of the guild cards"

Nodding to her I said, "Nice to meet you" and she just nodded back.

"Did you need something Tower Master?" Goshen asked.

"Yes, the three of you come in and shut the door please"

After doing so Goshen asked "Is there something wrong? I thought we were pretty much done"

"What do you think about the idea for the guild?" I asked.

Thinking for a second Goshen answered "I think it is a good idea, the more and more people who enter the tower the more powerful people and nations will have. Not to mention the resources that will be provided through the tower everything will need some sort of organized group to manage it".

"Well I am glad to hear that because I have chosen who will be the guild master" I answered.

"Really" he questioned "Who"

"You will," I responded.

"Im sorry what was that"

"You, Goshen, will be the guild master" I repeated. "You are a very calculative person and I think that will make you a great liaison between the nations. The fact that you apparently helped with the guild logistics makes you the perfect candidate"

With barely contained enthusiasm he practically yelled "I would love the position"

"I am glad.." I started but Goshen interrupted.

"Do you mind if I pick my vice GuildMaster's myself?"

"I don't see why not"

"Then I would choose Dao Mu and General Go Rehi"

"Not Pakku?"

"No, despite being from an allied nation he is a bit harsh and overbearing. Also, his stubbornness would make things difficult to get done"

"Hahaha, that is a perfect description" I laughed. Pakku just grumbled at that.

"Alright then shall we open for business" I said, clapping my hands together.

"Yes we shall," Goshen said.

Walking down the stairs I was met with the sight of four people sitting at the back desks wearing simple vests and clothes. Each one had a large leather bound book I had provided and some writing utensils.

"Everyone.." Go Rehi started getting their attention.

"Let me," I said turning to the small group "Hello everyone if you have yet to meet me I am the Tower Master, you may calm me Callum" Then gesturing to Goshen I said "You all know what this guild is for and why we need it. I am happy to inform you that Goshen has been made GuildMaster with Go Rehi and Dao Mu the vice GuildMaster's"

Stepping forward Goshen announced "I am glad to let you know that we are officially opening for business, the Adventurers Guild is now available"

Everyone cheered at that but I heard Goshen's quit remark "Now we just need to get people here"

"I have the perfect idea for that" I said leaning over then opening my quests function.

[Quests]

Seeing the people in the room stare at the space in front of them I just raised my hand and waved "I'll let you deal with the aftermath" then transported myself back to the fifth floor.

"Haha, now all that is left to do is wait, shouldn't take too long there is less than three hundred climbers right now"
