Chapter 2: Aether
Third-Person POV
Jon, who was done wearing his clothes, thought it was time to open the doors and let others waiting outside enter the room before they knocked down the hinges to get the answers they thought he would give them. He did think about what he would tell them about the change of behavior they would see in the future or during the talk. But to hell with him giving answers to them. He is not Jon Snow who is honorable and brooding although the memories of Jon might leave some of Jon's personality but as I have read in sacred texts his one is the dominant in the body.
Jon opened the doors of the chambers and everyone standing outside immediately started to enter the chambers. There were not many people who were waiting outside the doors—only the closest advisors and friends of Jon, with the new addition of Melisandre. I must say, the actress in the series did not do justice to her beauty; she is even more beautiful in reality. However, seeing the choker she was wearing did get him to stop his thoughts from going too far about anything related to her. Jon closed the doors and took his seat by the hearth.
Jon knows that everyone is looking at him like he is something of a mystery to figure out. They also want to ask whoever could give them an answer about how this man before them is alive. "I don't think what others want to know. But I would like to ask you what you saw... after you know?" Ser Devos asked awkwardly not mentioning the betrayal of Black brothers.
"I have seen many things, Ser Davos. Or they were shown purposefully to tell me why I am given a second chance. And I do not think it is wise to tell you everything right now but with time you will see what I have shown." Jon said to Devos while looking directly in seaworth's eyes. Davos after hearing the tone and words he spoke understands that Jon's coming back from his death has changed Lord Commander of Night's watch.
Others in the room who heard Jon came to the same conclusion as Davos but their reactions were different. Jon's closest friend, Edd, frowned. He thought that his lack of competence had caused Jon to die and ultimately led them here. Tormund, who was confused by what Jon said, didn't care as long as the King of Crows was alive and on the side of the living. Melisandre's expression was different from everyone else because when she heard Jon say he had been shown many things it only strengthened her belief that he was the Prince That Was Promised and her god had shown him his purpose.
"Did you catch a glimpse of the Lord of Light, One true God?" Melisandre asked with a fervent expression that you would expect to see in a fanatic. I thought about what to tell her there are two choices I could choose here either I tell her that there are only Old Gods who have given me back my life or that there is more than one God and they are working together to not let the death win over the living. I decided to go with the letter as it would give me an excuse to give to others when I displayed powers I would get in the future with help from rituals.
Jon replied, "Aye, there is a lord of the light, but make no mistake, priestess, your god is not the only one I met out there." Hearing him, Melisandre's eyes burned with even more faith and reverence. Davos grumbled and muttered something that no one heard.
The first person to realize something was different was Edd who had been silent up until that moment. "Jon," he started, "your eyes aren't brown anymore." As soon as he said this, everyone looked towards Jon. Being unable to see themselves as there was no mirror in the room, Jon looked back at everyone with an expectant gaze. "They're purple now," Edd concluded.
"What does that mean?" Ser Davos asked Melisandre, who was also gazing at Jon's eyes with curiosity. Noticing Ser Davos' stare, she turned toward him and replied, "As I told you before, I have never done this before, so I can't answer your question."
Everyone was curious and slightly scared due to the sudden change in Jon's eye color. But the man in question was in his thoughts. Jon who is thinking that it seems he will be having more than fire resistance from His Targaryens' side of the Family. Watching as heavy silence settled in the chambers Jon decided it was time for everyone to leave and him to get some rest as the influx of memories in his brain had left him slightly fatigued and with a light headache. "I think I need some rest. So if you have anything to ask..." Hearing him everyone started to stand up and leave. The first one was Melisandre who after bowing to him took her leave.
After telling Jon the same thing as he said in the series to make Jon smile, Tormund was the second to leave. Ser Davos joined Tormund after seeing Jon was fine and needed rest. Edd, the only one in the room who had yet to leave, stared at Jon for a few minutes before telling him that the traitors who were responsible for his death were in prison and would be facing judgment at his hand whenever he was ready. After hugging me, he also took his leave. Now only Jon and Ghost, who is lying in the corner, are present in the chambers. After petting Ghost a few times, Jon decided it was time to get a nap before he took the lives of four people after just coming into the new world.

Jon Snow POV
I woke up by a ding sound in my head and after opening my eyes I looked around to see if my system would have a screen interface or if it would only be a voice in my head.
[You can ask me directly, Host. I am created solely to help you. If you're wondering whether I have a function or interface that displays your stats, I apologize for any disappointment, but I do not have that capability. However, I can assist with calculations based on what you know about others and make comparisons between you and them to help you understand your progress..]
The voice in my head is female, but without any emotion, it seems because her tone was entirely monotonous when she replied to me. "So you're the same as AI back in my world? or are there any more functions of you that I should know beforehand?" I asked the system in my mind.
[Yes, I am like AI back in your world made to help you in any way that I could. The being that sent you here made me because you requested so much information that you could not use effectively and that led to my creation. I also have access to the memories of your previous world, even things you may have forgotten or considered inconsequential to remember.]
Hearing that she could remember everything I had ever known in my previous life brings a triumphant smile to my face. Although I didn't do anything important back in my world—just watched everything I could find on the internet that piqued my interest—I realize that even mundane knowledge could help me a long way in the current world I'm in. However, that's not the main purpose of the system, right? But there are something which I should do before discussing rituals. "So, I get to give you a name, right? I don't want to call you 'system' or 'AI.' Let me think... Athe... no, that's overused. What do you think about the name 'Aether'? Do you like it?"
[Thank you, Host. I like it very much]
With all that being said, let's get to the task at hand. I believe I've chosen a good time to ask Aether about which ritual would be best for me as a novice in all mystical arts. Talking about the rituals the moment I woke up here, I determined that there is one thing I would acquire, one way or another. "Aether, the first task for you to do is find a ritual that would benefit me the most according to the situation I would be finding myself in the future. And please add acquiring parseltongue as the long-term goal which would be my priority after I am done with Ramsay Bolton."
[There are many rituals that you could benefit from, but taking into account the ingredients you have access to narrows it down to a few. Before that, I would like to know which aspect you would like to enhance: Magic or your Physique? I have also started to analyze and calculate how you can gain abilities like parseltongue with the resources you will have after defeating Ramsay. After hearing your decision, I will send you information about the ritual.]
What do you think of the chapter? I want to write a Dragonlord who uses Parseltongue or tongue in which they could communicate with their Dragons. However, it will be more work for me as I will need to carefully make personalities of Dragon which suit them and not write shit which is a chore to read. But I guess it will be worth it.
Now what is that I'm seeing that powerstones are not coming as I expect them to be. I guess I just have to see if it is even worth posting here.
