NOVEL NEXT Pinnacle Warrior Ebook final announcement
Hey, how you doing. It's me, the guy who writes this (and a couple other books). I've been really off in October. A lot of that was due to preparations for the launch of Pinnacle Warrior's book 1. I grew a much greater appreciation for the work that publishers put into getting everything ready, because man did that suck. I'm well aware that much of that was due to my own unfamiliarity with the system, and when book 2's ready to go, I'll be a lot faster for sure. Regardless, that's eaten a lot of my time. However, this week? It's been a, to my count, just about 4k word week. That's, in my own words, pretty damn bad. I do have a good reason for that, though!
As I announced a while ago, the wife was pregnant. Note: was. Baby was due mid next month, but decided to come three weeks early. There've been some complications and so on, but Mom and baby are both fine, so it's only been a sacrifice of time for me. I was and am happy to sacrifice writing time to be with little guy and wife, and I'm happy to have spent time with them both this week. Next Monday I should get back on track, so there's that. AR and SoK have both been pretty slow on updates for similar reasons: AR's getting into this war and SoK's finishing book 2, which I'm trying to make sure are both really good. As such, I'm just not quite as fast on those, even disregarding my own difficulties with productivity which've, admittedly, suffered this month. Hopefully, with this book launch out of my hair and so on, I'll be back in the saddle at 7k daily.
