Chapter 339: The Tyrant Descends Upon the Battlefield (Part 2)
On the battlefield, tiny arcs of electricity danced everywhere, sparking countless electric sparks. Within dozens of miles, the thunder elements became extraordinarily active, as if awakened by some unknown presence.
"Swish—"
A fierce wind swept in carrying countless sand and stones, raising heavy black gusts filled with a certain pungent scent.
"It's a sandstorm!"
This powerful storm blew the soldiers on the battlefield left and right, even lifting quite a few unarmored soldiers, tossing them into the air along with shattered earth and broken trees. Even the giant dragons in the sky had to vigorously flap their dragon wings to barely maintain flight.
At the center of the storm and dark clouds, a terrifying presence seemed to hide, its form concealed within the dazzling thunder.
Misha looked up solemnly, gazing toward the center of the distant storm, murmuring to herself: "Thunder Tyrant Goraz Dera..."
She turned her head to look at Jude who was struggling to hold on, her expression suddenly ferocious: "Enough, this must be a swift battle—kill him!"
Jude also saw the distant storm and thunderclouds, his expression twisted, eyes full of delight, he laughed hoarsely, with blood sliding down the corners of his mouth:
"Haha...hahaha...pathetic Imperial people, Goraz Dera is about to descend; disaster is upon you! All of you—will be destroyed by thunder and storm!"
"Shut up!"
A glaring golden-red flame burst from Misha's eyes, the pillar of fire growing ever hotter, melting everything around Jude.
Outside the Bronze Fortress, the Abyssal Legion had already claimed the sky and earth, heaps of smoking demon corpses piled everywhere.
Winged demons like the Frosthorn and Gesh Demon gathered in the sky, obscuring Aphernas' blood-colored sky. Giant Bull Demon, Berserker Demon, and Demon Giants rampaged on the ground, swarming and rushing to break through the Hell Legion's defenses.
The Devils still fought fiercely against the assault, with Chain Demon Warriors in heavy armor at the forefront. As the Magic Web fluctuated, a solid power field wall appeared at the front line causing the leading demons to hit their heads and bleed.
Horned Demon and Thorny Demon wielding steel forks took to the air, fighting desperately, causing winged demons to fall from the sky.
The Devil Sorcerer in a robe floated mid-air, chanting ancient and evil incantations, countless trails of Hellfire descended from above, bombarding the demons intercepted midway, explosions of black smoke and screams among the demon group.
At this moment, a resonant horn sounded from afar, chilling gales swept the ground, cooling the Devils' reddened weapons and armor with sizzling noise, even adding a layer of frost.
"These Hell vermin are no match, crush them—for the great Angry Lord Koschech!"
The ground trembled, and the Devils on the battlefield looked fearfully into the distance, seeing several mountain-like Abyss Giant Beasts growling deeply as Demon Frost Giants rode on their backs, waving spears and giant hammers, shouting frenzied battle cries.
The leading Frost Giant, clad in pitch-black heavy armor and wielding a giant hammer, had a burly stature, his body covered in glowing cracks, twisted spurs growing from elbows and knees, radiating a strong chaotic aura, evidently infected by The Abyss.
He wore a black visor, with a grim scar across his face, and his remaining right eye flickered with dark green fire.
The Frost Giant leader crushed a dozen low-level demons underfoot, angrily cursing: "Get out of my way! You useless lot, so long without breaking the Hell beasts' defenses, forcing the great Krum to act personally!"
This "great Krum" was Koschech's confidant, having followed the Angry Lord into the Abyss after the fall of the Giant Pantheon, waging wars far and wide for thousands of years, and was quite famed in The Abyss.
The low-level demons crowded outside the force field wall were shocked, hurriedly clearing a wide path under the status suppression and fear of death.
"Hell's curs, you are only fit to tremble under Koschech's army, inevitably facing death!"
Krum raised his giant hammer, shouting as he charged forward, and just before crashing into the defensive line, the Demon Frost Giant swung the giant hammer single-handedly, smashing it into the force field wall with full force.
In a moment, the space fractured, the giant hammer bringing frigid winds and chaotic roars.
"Boom!"
Accompanied by a thunderous noise, a shockwave mixed with hail scattered hundreds of demons and Devils, with the power field wall shattering abruptly into countless flickering magic fragments under this strike.
The Devil Officer's face was hideous, hoarsely shouting in anger: "Quick! Stop this damn Demon Giant!"
"Stop him! We cannot let these Abyss curs disrupt the defenses!"
Krum swung the giant hammer, smashing several approaching Devil Soldiers into pulp, the cold wind sweeping them, turning them into countless ice shards, flying into the sky.
The Abyss Giant Beast beneath the Frost Giant also broke into the formation, crushing over ten Chain Demon into meat patties.
A dozen Frost Giant Cavalry followed closely, swinging warhammers and spears, raising clouds of dust, further chilling the winds over the barren land.
They were like a pointed iron hammer, mercilessly smashing into the Hell Legion, creating a massive breach in the originally tight defenses.
Krum slammed his hammer down, causing the Devil Officer's head to burst open like a ruptured water sack, blood splattering, as he laughed amid the blood: "Great Krum will smash everything! The whole of Hell will belong to us Frost Giants, it will belong to Lord Koschech!"
"Roar!"
After the force field wall was broken, demons surged into the defenses like a flood, madly slaughtering the Devils.
Now, the outer defense Devils were completely overwhelmed by the mixed demon wave, demons clawing, biting, feasting on the Devils' bodies, instantly tearing several Devil Soldiers at the forefront into bloody chunks.
Demons numbered more than twenty times the Devils, each demon like a rabid beast, vicious and bloodthirsty, reckless.
Thus, once drawn into chaotic combat, no matter how closely Devils were organized or how complete their tactics, it was futile, watching helplessly as they were consumed by the Magic Tide, becoming spoils of the crazed demons.
"We can't hold them!"
"Lord Uriel, the demons are about to charge through!"
The commander of this defensive line, Deep Prison Demon Refiner Uriel, looked at the distant Magic Tide, gritting his teeth: "The 21st Legion and the 22nd Legion can't be saved; have them buy us time while we retreat."
"Yes, my lord."
Although these Hell Legions were not Uriel's direct subordinates, they still had significant combat power, making him reluctant.
But the Deep Prison Demon Refiner acted swiftly, abandoning his troops without hesitation, carrying vital equipment, organizing his elite forces, and quickly withdrew to the next line of defense.
The Devils outside were torn apart by the crazed demons, leaving not a single intact corpse—this was already the maximum benefit choice.
Krum raised his giant hammer, swinging it in the air, laughing aloud: "See? They're scared! These Hell cowards can't stop us at all! Lord Koschech will conquer Aphernas; this land will become a paradise for demons!"
"Long live The Abyss!"
"Praise Lord Koschech!"
Demons had fully occupied the outer defense line, letting out loud, hoarse roars.
In just moments, they had completely exterminated tens of thousands of Devils, leaving only blood, debris, and shards all over the ground.
This is the demon, a product of chaos, born purely for killing and destruction, more like living disasters compared to Life.
