Ascension of the Monster Queen

Nessa exhaled deeply, wondering if it was her abilities acting up on her and Mikala looked at her before tapping her on the shoulder and Nessa flinched, causing the girl to flinch as well and the demon glanced at her.

Mikala apologized for startling Nessa and the king looked at her, then the girl lowered her head and clenched her right fist as the heaviness in her chest grew and the demon's eyes narrowed as he approached her.

He grabbed her by her arm, then turned her towards him as men with different types of abilities barged into her city and Riki's eyes narrowed as he turned around, when he heard screams.

"What's going on?" He asked as he got up from under the tent which they were using to observe the others work and everything else within the city.

"Riki, we have trouble," One of the Dalia said as she approached him and his eyes narrowed. Your journey continues at empire

"Show me," He replied and she nodded then walked away and he followed her to go meet the ones that entered the city, without any permission.

"What's going on here?" Riki asked as he approached a bunch of men and his brows furrowed, when he sensed dark energy among them and he placed his hand on his blade.

"Are you the leader of this nation?" A guy asked as he stepped forward and Riki's eyes narrowed as he looked back at Dalia and the others.

"Dalia, escort the children away from here, take help from the others, I have a bad feeling about this," He said and she rushed off immediately.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you trespassing?" Riki asked.

'Lady Nessa... We might be in trouble this time, our ranks are scattered right now, a lot are still in training process, something about them, isn't quite human...' Riki thought as he tightly gripped his sword.

Sai appeared before the device, Nessa created before she left and his eyes and body glowed brightly as blades began clashing before him.

"Lady Nessa..." He called out and the device began glowing.

At the same time, Nessa looked at the demon as he stared at her and the others exchanged glances, wondering what was going on and she exhaled deeply as she felt the energy and her eyes glowed brighter.

'What's going on here? Why am I feeling like this? Are they in danger?' She wondered.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I have a terrible feeling, as if something is going to happen, to something dear," She responded.

"Is there a reason she is feeling that way?" Mikala asked.

"She has many reasons to feel that way, listen to me, you need to focus on your abilities, find out what's going on that way, come on," He said and she began seeing double.

The girl exhaled deeply as she focused on the feeling she was getting at the time and she heard her name, mentioned from the device.

"What? But, I am not sure, how?" She asked as she clenched her right fist and turned towards Jovan and Kyle with her eyes glowing and the demon's eyes narrowed as he looked at her, knowing that something was wrong.

"Why are you looking at me that way?" Jovan asked as she approached them.

"Hey, what did you do? Who did they send to that nation?" She asked and his eyes narrowed as he stepped back and her body began glowing slightly.

"If anything happens to them, you are all dead meat, mark my words, I will kill every last one of you," She said.

"Wh- What are you talking about? I have no idea, have you gone nuts?" He asked and Kyle approached her.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, she is serious," The demon said.

"What's going on here?" Mikala's older brother asked.

"Hey, calm down, what's wrong wth you so suddenly? Are you looking for trouble?" Kyle asked as he was about to grab her.

"Move," She said as she moved beside him.

Nessa punched him in his stomach, sending him crashing into a wall across the room and upon impact, he coughed up blood and everyone gasped.

"Nessa," Mikala said as the guards rushed inside and was about to approach Nessa but the demon came in their way.

"If you don't want to end up in a worse spot, I would stay put, she means no harm to the royal family, that should be enough, don't piss me off next, you won't like the outcome, stand back, I am not going to repeat myself," He said and they looked at each other.

"Don't interfere, I trust her, there has to be an explanation here," Mikala said and Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at Jovan.

"Nessa, please calm down and explain all of this, before you get into trouble," Mikala added as she looked at the girl.

"They are my responsibility and I am not there, I will explain later, first, let me get my answer and find out what exactly is going on, a lot could be in trouble otherwise, don't get in my way please, the enemies are under your roof, do you guys even realize that?" She asked with a piercing look in her eyes and Mikala's brows furrowed, wondering what she was talking about.

"I have had just about enough of your nonsense, ever since I came here, I have been doing nothing but tolerating your rudeness, but you have gone over the line now, you will pay for this," Jovan shouted and she smirked.

"Over the line? If I crossed that, you wouldn't be standing man, stop talking crap, you and your men are like ants before me, I will smash you in a second if this is what it is, did you launch an attack against the monster nation?" She asked as the aura around her got stronger.

At that moment, everyone was confused and wondered what was going on, Jovan flinched as he stared at her, with his eyes trembling.
