Ascension of the Monster Queen

Nessa exhaled deeply as she stared at the demon, for at the moment, that was not something she was expecting and he completely caught her by surprise and she scoffed as she got closer to him.

His eyes narrowed as he looked at her and her brows furrowed then she peeked at him and he looked at her as she walked round him in a circle and his eyes kept trace of her.

"So, what made you take your hood off?" She asked and a smirk appeared on his face as he looked at her and his eyes shimmered at the same time and a smirk appeared on her face.

"Well, you wanted to see didn't you? So, what do you think?" H asked and she exhaled deeply.

"You are better than I expected, your eyes... There's something to them," She responded and his eyes glowed then she smiled.

"You are like those pretty boy but better," She said and he chuckled as she looked at him.

"That's what you have to say, lady Nessa?" He asked and she chuckled then patted him on his shoulder as she walked past him and he glanced at her as she looked up at the sky.

"Yeah, that's my answer, you have done nothing yet to make me say certain things either," She responded and his eyes narrowed.

'A strong leader and one who is willing to....' He thought as a slight smile appeared on his face and he looked at her.

"I have no reason to do any such things either, I might be a crazy demon, that's how most sees me, but certain things I can't do and won't, no matter what," He said and she smiled as she glanced at him.

"I thought you would never show me your face as you are now, is it really because I wanted to that made you change your mind?" She asked and he scoffed.

"Not quite, it is a little suffocating at times, hiding, don't you think?" He asked and she looked at him, since she knew exactly the way he was feeling and she lowered her gaze a little bit.

"Yeah, I know how exactly how that is actually and I don't like it either," She responded.

"Then, free yourself from it, it won't do you any good, that much I can assure you," He said and she looked at him as he looked up at the sky and she glanced at his eyes then smiled a little.

"I will not hide myself for long, besides, it has given me a lot of advantages as well, working in the dark has another feeling to it, doesn't it?" She asked and his eyes narrowed as he saw the piercing look in her eyes.

'I have to say, this girl has the feel of a bloody villain sometimes, one of the many things that is making this journey as good as it is, I shall observe what happens next and back up, if it's needed,' He thought.

"Yeah, it does, I know the feeling, well it's getting late, you better brace yourself, who knows what is going to happen next, they are cunning, it's better to prepare," He said.

"Yeah, I know that, well, I am going to call it a night now, good night, demon," She replied as she went into the room then he followed her in and closed the balcony door behind him, then fixed the curtains.

"Uh.." He said as he turned around and then his eyes narrowed as he stared at her as she took her jewellery off and he noticed a slight glow by her back area.

"Ugh... Not again," She mumbled as she felt the sting from it.

"Are you okay?" He asked ad she turned to look at him then sighed.

"Yeah, I am fine," She responded as he fixed her hair by her back, completely covering it and his brows furrowed.

"Does that usually happen?" He asked and she looked at him.

[It is indeed unusual for you to have such a thing happen, it could mean anything but one thing it is not and that is a danger to your life, that much I do know, but it does have some sort of significant meaning.]

Nessa sighed then shrugged at the demon and he chuckled then walked away.

"Good night as well, lady Nessa, I will see you in the morning," He responded with a wave before leaving the room and Nessa glanced at him then locked the door.

"So, it is not harmful to me? But what does it mean? Clearing it is forming some kind of mark, what the hell is happening to me lately? I know I have change but this is something else, different, I can feel its energy..." She mumbled before exhaling deeply.

"Let's hope that I do," She said with a slight smile.

Nessa then went to freshen up and when she was finished, she got dressed then went into her bed, where she thought back about when the demon showed her his face and she scoffed.

The demon had a slim face, he was fair and had sharp brown mixed with a slight crimson red and piercing eye, which made them look unique in their own way, for his eyes were the first she saw like that and his hair was slightly long and was in a loose pony.

After a few minutes, Nessa fell asleep, since she wanted to relax but as usual, she was dreaming a few displeasing things.

The next morning, when Nessa woke up, she exhaled deeply and when she sat up on the bed and looked at the time, she saw that she had slept in.

"Good morning," The demon said as he entered the room and she chuckled.

"Good morning, wait, I will go freshen up," She replied as she dashed off of the bed and went to the bathroom and the demon chuckled then sat down to wait on her to finish.

But as Nessa was taking her bath, back at her nation, something else was about to happen, one of their plans were about to take action.
