Chapter 196: They got it *
Anne's legs shook at the intensity of her orgasms and at some point, she began to lean her entire weight against Caius whose hips kept jerking as he kept spurting his man batter inside her.
Eventually, though, all good things must come to an end and when the last spurts dripped from Caius's rod, Anne let out a satisfied moan and then pulled away from him so she could turn around, dislodging his rod from her snatch before going down on her knees to take it into her mouth and suck it clean.
Caius moaned as she did, his purple eyes looking down at her as she stared up at him with her back eyes behind the lens of her glasses. She kept eye contact throughout her cleanup, enjoying the taste of the seeds she found she still wanted to have bred her.
She liked the taste. She also didn't mind that it was mixed with her taste as well from all the juices she had coated the rod with through her many orgasms.
Eventually, she was done and pulled the rod out of her mouth, one hand around it as she clenched and unclenched, flexing her fingers around the girth they could not completely contain. And then she cleared her throat.
"Break is over," she said, "You should get back to class."
"Do you intend to come with me, Professor?" Caius asked with his glance indicating her grip was still quite tight on his cock and he could hardly leave with her attached to him.
"I'll let you go," Anne said, "We'll certainly draw some eyebrows moving through the Academy halls as we are."
"Maybe a little," Caius said with a shrug," But they'll probably admire our courage. You never know, we might start a trend."
"I highly doubt that," Anne said with a chuckle. She then looked down at Caius's rod before letting out a sigh and letting it go, staring at it like she had already missed holding it and having it inside her.
Caius was sure he had seen that look before and it didn't take long before he knew exactly where from; From Anne's own daughter, Lea. The two weren't identical but there were similarities between their faces that were uncannily heightened by both being capable of having this expression.
Caius grabbed his pants and had them buckled at his waist in a second, after which he smiled at Anne.
"So about my report," he said slowly, "I can't help but remember I'm the only one in class to not yet have been given a grade."
"Do you want one?" Anne asked.
"Well, you did say it counted towards our overall assessment," Caius said, "I'd be a terrible student not to care."
"Very well," Anne said, "I have deemed your report worthy of submission…"
"And?" Caius prompted.
Anne stroked her pretty jaw as though in contemplation.
"Diction, structure, relevance to the topic… All fine work. You get an 'E' for Excellent," she said.
"Sweet," Caius said.
"I'll be keeping it with me though, if you don't mind," Anne said, "I don't think I'm done studying its… genius."
"Knock yourself out, Professor," Caius said, already walking toward the door, and then, just as he pulled it open and prepared to walk out, he called back in a near ominous voice filled with meaning,
"Just remember, it'll not be a substitute for me."
Anne looked at him, her skirt still bunched at her waist, his cum barely kept sealed right in her pussy by her clamping muscles as thin lines of the stuff still dripped out and down the inside of her legs. She could still feel the tingling of the vestiges of his touch and thrusts. It had been only minutes since they had been done and her body missed him already.
In that moment, she knew Caius was right.
The report would not be a substitute for him and even more, she now felt/feared that nothing ever would.
•••
When Caius met up with Kaya during Theory of Magic Class taught by the ever-irritated-by-him, Professor Melvin, he saw she looked brighter… happier. He could only imagine she had put her plan into action during Break while she had been forced to share her table with Aylin.
He found Aylin soon and the grey-white haired girl had her body turned completely away from him, never once even sparing him a glance.
"Huh," Caius let out thinking one Break of being regaled with intimate details had been enough to turn Aylin away from the thought of sharing.
Alas, when Aylin eventually turned around once during class and blew him a kiss and even gave Kaya a, albeit cold, wave, he realized he might have underestimated her tolerance.
Kaya appeared to be on the same wavelength of thought as him but she quickly pushed it aside. The task couldn't be completed in one single Break after all. There would be more time together to push Aylin Khione past her breaking point.
For a moment, Caius considered dissuading her and putting an end to this feud not being fought with battles but with information and then, he stopped himself. There was a reason he had told Kaya to go ahead and do it in the first place. He still believed in that reason and was more than intent on seeing it through.
After Class, Caius headed for Arlette's office but once inside, he noticed something different. She looked… happy. Of course, he had seen her happy many times before. Happier even. Just not so… bursting(?) with news.
"They got it," she told him with a bright smile.
"They got what?" Caius asked as he closed her office door behind him.
"'Allegra's Legacy'"," Arlette clarified, "'Ophiuchus' found it and they have it."
"They do?" Caius asked slowly, and then smiled lightly, "About time."
For a moment there, he was starting to think 'Ophiuchus' would fail at the acquisition which would just be disappointing and render moot the whole point of taking them over.
Now, in [To Kill A Demon Lord…], 'Allegra's Legacy' was a long drawn-out arc of people learning it existed, going around to find the clues to getting it, and then piecing the clues together before working to decipher the codes within those clues. Caius had bypassed most of those steps and the fights, killings, purchases, and theft that came with them to simply hand over the clues themselves. Or at least the most important parts of it.
And, while the decryption of the code within that clue had been an issue in the original story, he felt having the entirety of 'Ophiuchus' at his disposal should reduce that difficulty by a lot.
It had been almost two weeks since the task was commissioned. If one took into account the difficulty, Caius should have been satisfied. He was not. They hadn't disappointed him but they just hadn't impressed him either.
Ungrateful to think that? Maybe.
But there was so much more mystery he would need to use their resources to uncover and if the easiest had been so 'difficult', how would those be?
So, what did Caius feel at that moment? Relief.
It was finally here.
His ticket to not having to wait for years to advance to the Fourth Circle. Or, alternatively, not having to drain a few hundred victims to do it. The mere thought of how he'd have to rouse his Evolution Trigger within those victims if he became indiscriminate of their gender gave him the creeps. And the thought of killing someone he had taken his time to pleasure did not particularly fill him with joy.
His policy was, if he enjoyed someone once, he'd damn sure like to enjoy them again. And again. And again. Maybe for eternity even.
And even if not, keeping the options open appealed to him far more than closing it forever with a kill.
