As Uchiha, I can only travel to another world to live!

Chapter 209: A mighty being

"Done?"

"Done."

After Shinra took control of Imu, he returned after he was satisfied to know what kind of power Imu held, or rather, he turned Im into a vampire, which gave him access to her ability. Naturally, only he knew that, as for the others, the Five Elders, they knew nothing. Instead, the Five Elders looked at him with satisfaction as they patted his back before letting him return, as they probably thought that he needed time to accept everything.

Imu was powerful as she could turn others into immortals, but of course, it had a price.

Naturally, the first prize was similar to Shinra's vampirism ability, which made those people be tied to them, and the lives or deaths of those people who had been turned into an immortal or vampire were in the hands of Imu or Shinra, who had transformed them.

Still, if Shinra made a comparison, his vampirism was better since, while it couldn't give complete immortality, which meant those who had been transformed didn't have to do anything to complete their immortality, the price of this immortality was high, as they took the life force of those who had been transformed.

Meanwhile, when one became a vampire due to Shinra's vampirism, they could absorb the other's life force, which was more user-friendly.

If there were a problem, it would be if there were no living beings anymore, so that way, it would be hard for the vampire to maintain their power.

"Now, what's wrong with this world?"

The power from Imu aside, Shinra couldn't help but lament when he thought of the future of this world that was about to sink.

"Somehow, it's like the story of Noah."

Noah, a figure famous in many religions, was made famous by the Genesis flood narrative, one of the most well-known stories in the Bible.

In this account, God "regrets" making mankind because they have filled the world with evil. Noah then labors faithfully to build the Ark at God's command, ultimately saving not only his own family, but mankind itself and all land animals, from extinction during the Flood. Afterwards, God makes a covenant with Noah and promises never again to destroy the earth with a flood. Noah is also portrayed as the "tiller of the soil" who was the first to cultivate the vine. After the flood, God commands Noah and his sons to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.

"Hmm...."

When Shinra thought of this, he wondered whether the world wished for Nika to become this Noah and start a new life.

To him, the World Government and others were that evil mankind, who tarnished the planet.

Letting out a helpless sigh, Shinra knew that while the mighty being that overlooked all of us might be gentle and loving, like our dearest father, yet at the same time, like how our real father would use a belt to snap at us when we cause trouble, the mighty being will bring a destruction when the mankind can't be saved or too much.

Floods, earthquakes, famines, wars, and then probably the Judgement Day?

As Nika appeared, this was the Judgement Day for the World Government, Imu, and everything that was part of this evil.

Yet, what if Shinra took away that power of Nika?

Could the world be saved, then?

Of course!

Why couldn't it?

Shinra had the confidence that he could change everything. His goal was to colonize this planet and even the universe. If he couldn't change this world that was about to sink, then how could he even think to do all of that?

The savior shouldn't be chosen one, the one that was determined by fate, but someone who rose themselves from the bottom, and became truly a mighty being, so that people wouldn't feel despair, thinking that those who came from the bottom had no way to redeem or change themselves for the better.

Then again, in the world of the supernatural, where all the possibilities existed that one could even touch the power of a concept or even creations, everyone had a chance to become that "god-like" existence that could only be looked up to.

So, without a doubt, he had to take away all the power that related to a metaphysical, something that couldn't be explained by science, physics, and everything, which was still a mystery that mankind hadn't understood yet.

Probably, an artificial intelligence was the first attempt for a human to understand how a soul could be created.

By then, when people understood that, would those powerful and wealthy create a super soldier that would follow their words obediently, like they were most loyal servants?

Shinra wasn't sure, but as he had a superpower, he had no need for something like that, and he felt that the world had become more interesting as he grew in power.

Still, in this world, let's focus on the development of his spirit, physical ability, and mind. Naturally, the power of the Devil Fruit, too.

As for the world of Kengan, let's forget it and just use it for a place to rest, as it has nothing much to offer.

The problem was the world of Naruto, as it was the place where certain creatures would go from one planet to another, absorbing all the life, nutrients, and everything, turning those planets to death to gain a certain power to make them stronger.

"Ootsuki Clan."

When Shinra thought of this clan, he knew that those strange aliens from outer space were nothing but parasites.

Yet, the parasites were wrong, as their lives were more or less tied to the lives that they had parasitized.

In other words, it wasn't sustainable.

The best way for one to become powerful was like how a certain large Empire in history, the British Empire. It was said that the dress for the king or the queen was pure white with nothing but their accessories, whether it was a coat, stick, and everything else, were glittering with the most precious gems, luxuries that no one could imagine, taking all the rich resources and everything from the countries or areas that they had colonized.

Yes, in the eyes of many, it might be wrong, but Shinra felt that this method was correct, as this empire rose to prominence and became the empire on which the sun never sets. In the end, it had fallen, broken into pieces, and probably, in the future, he might also receive a similar treatment, but it was still far away, at least, in the era of his descendants, that were useless, but as long as he was immortal and never died, continued to stand up high, who could stop him, right?

Still, as he stared at the night sky from the Mary Geoise from his room, thinking of many things, the door of his room was knocked.

"....."

"Shinra-sama, have you slept yet?"

A naughty orange cat slipped into his room.
