As the glass cover slowly descended, Ye Zi'an's eyes closed, and his consciousness arrived in a vast ancient Roman arena.

Opposite him stood a replica that looked exactly like himself.

The two were enclosed by a transparent barrier, which displayed a blood-red countdown.

The battle began.

With the countdown reaching zero, the barrier separating them disappeared.

The replica moved swiftly, charging at Ye Zi'an with remarkable speed. In less than two seconds, it closed the thirty-meter distance and was right in front of him.

The replica's left hand transformed into a palm and struck directly at Ye Zi'an.

The surrounding air was stirred by the force of the palm.

This was Ye Zi'an's only palm technique, the "Ruthless Bloom Palm."

As an A-level palm technique, it didn't just deal extra damage to women; it could inflict significant harm on any living being.

Ye Zi'an sidestepped the attack and retaliated with several punches.

Both had equal attributes, so the replica easily dodged his strikes.

In this space, they exchanged blows, each hit landing with force, but neither side gained the upper hand, causing their stamina to deplete continuously.

Seizing an opening, the replica launched a palm strike at Ye Zi'an.

Ye Zi'an smirked, unfazed, and drew his Tang Dao from thin air, swiftly severing the replica's arm.

While their attributes were comparable, the training pod could not replicate Ye Zi'an's system space, and thus it could not replicate the Tang Dao.

As the replica's left arm was cut off, blood gushed out. Being already at the end of his strength, the replica lost the will to resist and shouted in anger, "You bastard!"

Ye Zi'an didn't waste words; he swiftly decapitated the replica, its bloody head rolling a few circles on the ground as the body collapsed.

Had he just killed himself?

The surrounding scene faded, and Ye Zi'an found himself back inside the training pod.

He pressed a button beside him, and the glass cover of the training pod slowly opened.

He had to admit that this training pod was an exceptional training tool. After experiencing a life-and-death battle, Ye Zi'an felt mentally exhausted but had no injuries on his body.

The other three training rooms had similar functions, with additional specialized equipment. The power of the biological samples could also be significantly enhanced, even exceeding the strength of the original samples. It seemed that the training room was tailored to fit one's own strength.

Ye Zi'an's attributes were around 65, and the standard for training room B should be between 50-100.

"What a pity, if only I could modify the training room levels," he thought.

Aside from himself, the other people in training room B wouldn't be able to make much use of it, and as for C and D, it was anyone's guess when they could enter.

"The host can set and modify the levels of these four training rooms in the Tower of Babel system," the system reminded him.

After the prompt, Ye Zi'an found the option to modify the training rooms on the Tower of Babel system panel.

With a sweep of his hand, he changed the levels of the four training rooms to three A-level and one B-level.

The light membranes in front of the training rooms transformed into three white and one blue.

Outside the Tower of Babel, the combat team, along with the city defense team and the 35 new recruits who had joined An Ziyu, were gathered outside.

The task of organizing the supplies was being handled by the warehouse team led by Liu Qinghuan, who was slowly tallying and accounting for the goods outside the warehouse before integrating them into storage.

Ye Zi'an led his nearly 60-member team into the Tower of Babel. Everyone curiously passed through the light membranes and entered the tower, where they were again met with four light membranes.

Pointing at the four membranes, Ye Zi'an said, "You will train in these three white light membrane training rooms. As for the light blue membrane training room, it's too difficult for you."

"White light membranes? Aren't those three dark blue membranes and one black membrane?" one of them questioned.

"No, they're clearly three light blue membranes and one dark blue one," another countered.

Confirming that no one was colorblind, their debate about the colors of the light membranes made Ye Zi'an understand.

The color of the membranes appeared differently to different people, primarily depending on their individual strengths.

In Ye Zi'an's eyes, the white light membranes were seen by most as light blue or even dark blue.

To explain briefly, Ye Zi'an informed them about how to use the training pods.

Everyone was astonished by this training method, which was a near-perfect simulation of real combat but left no physical scars, eliciting even more respect in their gazes towards Ye Zi'an.

Several team leaders, along with soldiers of varying strengths in the team, each contributed a strand of hair to enhance the training pod's database.

After explaining everything, Ye Zi'an left the Tower of Babel, allowing them to organize themselves into groups for the upcoming training.

Meanwhile, the warehouse team members were diligently recording all the stored supplies under Liu Qinghuan's guidance, categorizing them based on shelf life, prioritizing items nearing expiration.

"Hello, boss."

Upon seeing their boss arrive, the warehouse team immediately paused their work and greeted Ye Zi'an.

"Hmm, you all continue your work. I'm just taking a look around," he replied, scanning for Liu Qinghuan.

Finally, he spotted her in a corner near the warehouse.

Liu Qinghuan was sitting at a desk in front of the warehouse, carefully checking and recording the quantities of the incoming supplies.

This was the first task Ye Zi'an had assigned her, and she was determined to do it well, not wanting to disappoint his expectations.

Ye Zi'an didn't disturb her, quietly standing beside Liu Qinghuan, watching her work diligently.

After a while, as the last box of goods was moved into the warehouse, Liu Qinghuan let out a long breath and stood up to stretch, finally noticing Ye Zi'an beside her.

"Brother Zi'an, what brings you here?" she asked, a bit cheerfully, though she refrained from rushing into his arms due to the other team members nearby.

Ye Zi'an playfully poked her petite nose and replied, "I just came out of the Tower of Babel and wanted to see how the warehouse team was doing with the inventory."

Liu Qinghuan, eager to show off, picked up the report she had just completed and handed it to Ye Zi'an.

He took the report, noting that the neat handwriting was far superior to his own scrawled notes.

"All the supplies that came in have been checked. Next, just take this report to Sister Wanrong for her reference on how to set the exchange prices for points," she explained.

"Alright, I'll accompany you."

In the administration team, Li Menglan and Hu Xuefei were discussing the points needed for the various supplies alongside Zhao Wanrong.

With hundreds or even thousands of different supplies, while they had pre-apocalypse prices as references, in this unstable apocalyptic world, prices had lost their significance.

For example, a bottle of soda priced the same as a bucket of instant noodles would certainly not be a better deal.

The pricing for other supplies followed the same logic; if the prices were set too high, it would lose the meaning of exchange, while setting them too low would encourage complacency, which wouldn't benefit the fortress's development or motivate the residents.
