The others had no argument as well and all of them began to walk along the mountain while examining it.

After walking for about half an hour, Chu Miao spotted a shiny black stone among other ordinary looking stones on the side of the mountain.

She didn't know why but she felt attracted to the stone, thus, she flew over to the place where the black stone was and took out a sword to excavate it.

"Darling, did you find something?" Ye Xuan hurriedly climbed the side of the mountain and followed her.

Unlike Chu Miao who could now fly after advancing to the golden core realm, the others couldn't.

They still didn't have the ability to fly on their own, but because they were still strong, climbing a mountain wasn't a big problem for them.

"This stone looks different, I want to take it out and see what it is." Chu Miao stated as she concentrated on carving the stone out of the mountain.

Little White suddenly appeared next to Chu Miao and looked intently at the black stone.

"This is an ore used in refining divine weapons. Such a rare ore is actually lying here on the side of the mountain! Moreover, it's such a big piece too." One could hear the surprise in his voice, which showed how rare that the ore was.

"So, you finally stopped hiding? I thought you would never come out for the rest of your life?" Black Tortoise suddenly spoke and this time it didn't use the telepathic voice but spoke out loud.

Little White stiffened for a moment before turning around to look at the small tortoise on Ye Xuan's shoulder.

How could he have been so excited about the ore that he forgot about that guy. Now he couldn't even pretend not to hear or see that tortoise.

"Oh, hey blackie. How have you been?" Little White asked with an awkward laugh as if a thief caught red-handed.

"Oh, I thought you had forgotten who I was, that's why you said nothing to your master or mine." Black Tortoise said with a tone that sounded as if it was gritting teeth.

"How is that possible? Who could possibly forget about you? You are so powerful, if I forgot about you, who would I remember?" Little White said while trying to wash away his crime.

"Is that so? So you mean that you remember me but have forgotten Vermilion Bird and Azure Dragon?" Black Tortoise was really out to get Little White.

That was what Little White thought. It wanted to say that he had indeed not forgotten the tortoise but had forgotten the others, but thinking that those guys might be nearby and if they heard him say that they had been forgotten it might cause chaos, he could only brace himself.

"How is that possible? I clearly remember all of you. I just didn't tell master about you guys because I didn't want to affect her cultivation.

You can also see that both our masters are so weak, knowing too much is just adding a burden to them." Little White protected his hide from black tortoise, but before he could celebrate for his clever thinking, his head was knocked.

Turning around, he found that his master had finished digging the ore and was looking at him with a glare.

Oh ooo….he had forgotten that his master could hear him calling her weak. Now, he was in for it.

"Master, I am not looking down on you. It's just that compared to before, your strength is really not much to speak of. I am actually not used to you being so little strength, that's why I accidentally said that mast was weak."

"What do you mean?" Chu Miao asked.

Since she and Ye Xuan contracted these two beasts, she always felt as if there was a story behind them. And from what the two of them were saying, it looked like this wasn't the first time they had been their contracted beasts.

In that case, could it be that she had lived another life she had no memory of? And from the conversation between the two beasts, she and Ye Xuan seem to have known each other in that life as well.

Little White and Black Tortoise had been carried by their argument so much that they had forgotten that both Chu Miao and Ye Xuan were there and they could hear them. Now that they heard Chu Miao ask a question, they didn't know how to reply.

Seeing how they were both flustered, she assumed that it was something they weren't supposed to talk about, therefore she didn't make things difficult for them and let the issue go.

"If you can't talk about it, don't force yourself. I will wait until you are ready for you to explain what's going on to me. For now, let's go and see if we can find more of those ores.

Who knows, maybe one day we will be able to have divine weapons refined for us." Chu Miao didn't dwell on what the two beasts were talking about and changed the subject.

The others were also curious about what the beasts were talking about, but since their owners weren't curious, they had no right to ask.

The group kept walking and after walking for close to four hours, they only found another one ore.

Seeing that they weren't going to strike it rich this way, they decided to find a way to enter the mountain.

"Should we find a way to take that skeleton of a divine beast from the cliff? It gives off a sense of power, and I think that if we could find a way to use it, we would gain a lot." Lei Ying suggested while looking at that skeleton.

It felt as if a voice was calling for him to go there.

"Let's first check out if there is an entrance into the mountain here. That skeleton won't be easy to take down for our current strength." Chu Miao said as she walked forward.
