Apocalypse: Transmigrated General’s Daughter Uses Space to Survive

Chapter 331: Mass Advancing

In just two weeks, the two had leveled up twice. This was a speed of advancement that wasn't common even in ancient times.

Chu Hao was already on the ninth level of Qi refinement and would advance to the foundation establishment next.

She was very happy for them because that meant that they would not have a problem entering the ancient battlefield.

Ye Xuan was also at the eighth level of Qi refinement and since his speed of advancement was a little faster than Chu Hao due to his superior talent, he would most likely advance to the ninth level soon.

Even though she advanced fast when she started cultivating, Chu Miao had a cheat code at least because the time flow in the soul ring was different from the outside world.

Therefore, cultivating in the space ring for a month was equivalent to cultivating for about a half a year outside.

However, Ye Xuan was on another level of talent. Apart from the time he was in seclusion in the spiritual energy pool with the rest of the Chu family, he hadn't gotten any cheat code, but he was still advancing like he had something in him.

Moreover, Chu Miao could feel the power radiating from him as his cultivation increased. She didn't understand because he would probably have more pressure at the moment than someone who was already at the foundation establishment realm.

Chu Miao was almost the same as him. They were the type of cultivators who had the ability to challenge people of higher cultivation level.

The spiritual energy fluctuations inside the barrier could be felt from time to time. It was not just from the men next to her.

The other cultivators had also experienced advancements.

Because the spiritual energy there was dense and pure, it didn't need too much purification when absorbed into the meridians and into the dantian.

Therefore, the absorption speed was faster than when as cultivators, they had to circulate it a couple of times before it was purified enough to be stored in the dantian.

Hence, even for individuals without extraordinary talent, they had advanced at least once.

The further up the cultivation level, the slower the speed of advancement because you would need more energy to advance than before.

That was why even with so much energy absorbed in two weeks, Chu Miao could feel that she had touched the barrier of the late stage foundation establishment realm but still didn't have enough spiritual energy to advance.

It would take some time for her to fill that gap. Luckily, she had that mysterious crystal inside her dantian helping her to absorb more energy than if she was just cultivating as usual.

As she was thinking and about to go back into deep meditation, Chu Miao felt another fluctuating nearby and opened her eyes to look.

She found that it was Zhao Ji advancing and was extremely surprised to find that the five-year-old boy was actually advancing to the third level of Qi refinement.

His talent was truly surprising. He must also have a lot of determination to get stronger for him to advance so fast.

A smile spread on her lips when she saw this. She had not been wrong about the boy. He was a talent and had the mind of a cultivator.

If he continues like that, he would advance to the foundation establishment before the age of ten. What a miracle that would be.

The person who surprised her the most was Mu Nan. The guy had awakened the earth element and was also advancing like a rocket considering his talent of level six.

He was already advancing to the second level of Qi refinement.

Everyone in that place was already a cultivator and by the time the restrictions on the ancient battlefield entrance disappeared, they would have the ability not only to protect themselves, but to also protect others.

Chu Miao just hoped that the zombies wouldn't advance too fast as well. Keeping up with them would be challenging.

After making sure that no one was having a problem in their cultivation, Chu Miao closed her eyes and entered deep meditation to continue cultivating.

She was determined to advance to the late stage of foundation establishment before the restriction disappeared.

Back in the city that now lay in ruins, the flood water had dried leaving behind a bunch of troubles.

The cholera that had started to trouble people while the torrential rain was ongoing was now a full blown health crisis.

Many survivors had already succumbed because of lack of medical care and the low level of hygiene.

Lack of water and disinfectant that can be used to clean every corner of the city or even the country was accelerating the death of many survivors.

As such, the zombie population had increased exponentially. The government had come forward to advise citizens to clean up the rubbish left behind the food water and ensure that their houses were cleaned thoroughly and disinfectant spray used.

The government had also deployed the military to help in the clean up and also distribute cleaning supplies to help in the process of curbing the disease.

Unfortunately, rats that seem to have been unleashed from hell could be found in every corner of the city.

People had to cover every hole or cranny in their houses to prevent them from accessing their houses.

Even vents and sinks were cemented. The problem was that the number of rats was just too high.

What was scary was that they could not be killed with rat poison.

More importantly, the rats would attack human beings when given a chance and could even kill.

Once a man was found in his house with only his skeleton left after getting attacked by rats.

People heard his screams and thought that something had happened to his family but when neighbors ran to his house, no one had the guts to enter it.

He was lying on the floor thrashing and screaming while rats covered him to the point that he couldn't be seen.

Only his screams echoed throughout the building.
