Apocalypse: I Build A Doomsday Train

Carriages 7 and 8 remain the core material and dining carriages of the entire train. In fact, most of Infinity's dining carriages are used to store supplies, as the need for large-scale dining is quite rare. The majority of meals are prepared in advance or supplied as canned food, allowing individuals to resolve their own needs.

From carriage 9 onwards are the living compartments. This compartment is equipped with a YJ03 anti-aircraft gun and an automated Fire God machine gun turret. Shu Qin, Miao Lu, Lv Chang, and their group, totaling 26 people, mainly reside here, with Shu Qin having a relatively larger single room.

Carriage 10 is quite special. Lin Xian has arranged for Duo Duo and 22 other children to be in this compartment, which has already been reinforced with thick armor.

Carriage 11 has been arranged by Lin Xian for Li Yi and some of the team members with families, especially females, to provide relative convenience for their living arrangements.

Carriage 12 is still a weapons station, equipped with a set of 1130 Close-in Weapon Systems. Lin Xian also plans to manufacture a G3-electromagnetic railgun here. He has assigned Luo Yang and their team's former technical backbone, Xiao Bai, to guard the weapons station.

Carriage 13 is left as an empty tool compartment by Lin Xian, intended to manufacture a fully automated bullet pressing machine and also to store the weaponry and ammunition for the entire train. Being in the middle of the train could be relatively suitable.

Carriages 14 to 18, all five, are living compartments, intended to house nearly 100 people. Carriage 14 has been arranged by Lin Xian for the 16 females of Luo Yang's former team, including Luo Luomin. Carriage 15 is for Li Guangwen and 18 other males. Carriages 16, 17, and 18 are occupied entirely by the Running Camp Team members, mostly former coworkers of Liang Lei, but also some rescued families along the way, so not all are men.

Although in this post-apocalyptic time, something might happen between men and women, especially those who are single, it's their freedom. However, for convenience in daily life, Lin Xian tries to separate non-family men and women for living arrangements, also considering the allocation of some combat personnel; the women responsible for logistics and internal affairs are closer to the dining carriages, along with the children, putting them in the central area protected by Infinity.

Next is carriage 19. Lin Xian transformed the previous tool compartment into a vehicle compartment to park the two Night Navigation Star hypersonic Flying Devices. Lin Xian needs to redesign this compartment to be fully automated and open for easy takeoff of the Flying Devices while considering armor protection, making it rather troublesome.

Carriage 20 was previously the Mecha Storage Bay, now housing Sha Sha's Sally and the 6-axis mechanical arm used for hoisting.

Carriage 21 is the final weapons station of Infinity, protecting the Silver Star 10A traction locomotive and Gemini 11R and Ling Long, the two nuclear-powered locomotives. Similarly, Lin Xian needs to manufacture a 1130 system and a G3-electromagnetic railgun here.

These 21 carriages, along with 6 powered carriages, form the new 27-car Infinity train set. Except for the gas turbine carriage, other powered carriages and weapon stations are each assigned a PX05-maintenance robot by Lin Xian for daily maintenance, inspection, and ammunition supply.

After setting up the carriage configuration, Lin Xian decided to start the modifications immediately, using the current time to complete the train refits. He estimated that he could finish the Dragon-level modifications and the new armor for the planting carriage and complete the storage compartment for the Flying Devices in carriage 19 this afternoon. The rest will have to be done slowly on the road. Lin Xian hasn't slept for two days and two nights, and tonight he must rest no matter what, as the train will enter the no-man's land tomorrow. He has already used the Gravitational Lens once today, and his energy is somewhat depleted.

"Carriage 6 lacks a 1130 Close-in Weapon System, carriage 21's weapon station lacks a G3-electromagnetic railgun, and carriage 12's weapon station is still empty, needing both systems built..."

"Then the original armor of the Sun needs upgrading to the standard of Infinity, but that's not urgent. The automatic bullet pressing machine for carriage 13 must be completed first, followed by the Super High Temperature Plasma Beam Wire Cutting Array to replace the Outer Armor Electric Blade Device..."

"And the entire vehicle's power supply, water supply, information system..."

Lin Xian closed his eyes momentarily. Expanding the team is truly not a simple task, but thankfully, the addition of Luo Yang and Liang Lei, who understand both engineering and mechanics, eases the burden. Lin Xian only needs to focus on manufacturing, leaving the rest to be handled by everyone else, which considerably reduces his stress.

Thinking of this, Lin Xian glanced at his watch and immediately stood up.
