Antihero: Celestial Administrator System

Fenrir summoned sharp icy spikes and shot them at Merlin. Merlin created a light sword and deflected all of the attacks with ease. Fenrir created a sword of his own trying to mimic Merlin.

"Why are you fight with a weapon that you aren't experienced in fighting?" Merlin asked sarcastically. Keith knew what was going to come next so he broke his eardrums to spare himself from the blabbering. He looked at Fenrir and couldn't help but feel pity for him. Merlin started ranting about how he should use a weapon that suits his fighting style.

He talked about many different weapons that would suit Fenrir. He went on to talk about how to use those specific weapons and he even lectured Fenrir on how to properly use his powers.

Fenrir had a baffled expression on his face because he was actually being lectured on how to fight by his opponent which was very strange.

Keith couldn't help but sigh, he knew that Merlin had a bad habit of lecturing his opponents except for dragons and onis before the fight. He would tell them how to use their powers correctly and also pointing out flaws in a person's technic. But now that he had come to think about it his bad habit was to make his opponents stronger and the reason why he made them stronger is because he likes the thrill of fighting someone stronger and win.

"I guess we have our bad habits," Keith muttered to himself as he smiled.

Merlin finished his lecture and told Fenrir to get into a fighting stance. Fenrir first bowed down to Merlin before getting into a fighting stance. He was thanking him for all the information that he was given. Fenrir used his ice abilities to create two gauntlets with sharp claws.

He lunged at Merlin with great speed. Merlin raised his light sword getting ready to cut him down as soon as he got closer. But Fenrir started dashing around Merlin and each time he saw an opening he would attack.

"Time to get serious," Merlin declared as he started deflecting all of Fenrir's attack whilst still standing in the same position. Fenrir increased the Se and speed in his attacks but Merlin was still able to deflect most of his attacks.

Fenrir stopped moving and decided to face Merlin head on. He tried to slash Merlin many times but Merlin was just weaving and deflecting his attacks. Fenrir tried to roundhouse kick Merlin in the face but Merlin ducked his attack and his swept his leg.

Just when Fenrir was about to fall down, Merlin kicked him in the chest but Fenrir already made a chest plate to protect himself from the kick. Fenrir was sent flying into a nearby tree. He got back up and charged at Merlin with a determined look in his eyes, he created five large spikes of ice and shot them at Merlin.

Merlin used his sword to deflect all five spikes with ease. Fenrir appeared at his back and slash Merlin but he came to realize that he was nothing but an afterimage. Fenrir's heart started pounding uncontrollably as he heightened all of his senses so that he won't be caught off guard.

Suddenly he got pierced in the legs, arms and chest by light daggers. Fenrir had a shocked expression on his face, he didn't sense the attack until it pierced his skin.

"You might be fast Fenrir but you aren't faster than the speed of light," he said as emerged from Fenrir's shadow and kicked him in the head. Fenrir fell down again but he was able to stand up and get ready to fight him.

"Fenrir to make this a fair fight how about I don't use my skill but I will be allowed to use basic Se reinforcement," Merlin suggested.

"Why?" Fenrir asked a bit confused of Merlin's current request. "Because beating you up mercilessly is getting boring for me," Merlin replied.

Merlin started reinforcing his body with a bunch of Se. Fenrir lunged at Merlin, trying to kick his face. Merlin was able to duck in less than a fraction of a second and punched him in the stomach. Fenrir spewed out blue like liquid from his mouth.

The punch from Merlin almost destroyed most of his internal organs, luckily, he was able to heal his organs just in time but the pain was still there. Even though the pain was excruciating, he knew that he couldn't waver even for a second because Merlin might get the upper hand and kill him.

He did a back flip and got into a fighting stance, he then let out a howl that echoed throughout the entire forest. Dark clouds started forming in the sky, thunder roared loudly and a rain of large sharp ice spikes fell to ground.

Merlin dodged almost all of the ice spikes with great speed. Merlin then heard a system notification.

Merlin decided to ignore his own suggestion earlier and decided to create two light swords and started deflecting all of the ice spikes with relative ease. He got closer to Fenrir and raised his sword to cut him in half. Fenrir let out another howl and three snow golems with swords appeared out of thin air.

One of them swung their sword aiming for Merlin's chest. Merlin leaned back a little to avoid the attack. Another an opportunity when Merlin was leaning back and raised his sword, the sword descended with speed that no normal C Rank would be able to dodge.

Merlin used the defensive use of [Light Manipulation] and the attack just bounced right off him as if it were nothing. Merlin slashed the golem in half and slashed the other one into small little pieces. The third golem lunged at him but before it could get the chance to use its attack, he shot a beam of light at it. The beam of light didn't just destroy the golem but it also destroyed everything in a 500km radius.

Merlin turned his gaze towards Fenrir. Fenrir lunged at merlin with incredible speed. Fenrir managed to get a few clean hits but Merlin was able to get the upper hand after a few minutes of fighting. Merlin had adjusted to Fenrir's attack pattern and speed making it easier for him to predict the attacks. With a final swing of his sword, he was able to cut Fenrir's heart.

When Fenrir died both Merlin and Keith leveled up 6 times

"You have been fun to fight with and for that you will be the first monster I'll bring back from the dead," Merlin said as he outstretched his hand and Fenrir's soul got sucked into his soul storage.
