The night passed fairly quickly, and soon the new day began. The first light of dawn had yet to break the horizon, but Reich was already awake. He had set an early alarm because he needed to complete the day's quest. Rising from his bed, he stretched and prepared himself for the tasks ahead.
Reich woke up much earlier than usual, just as he needed to, because today's mission required an early start. The sun hadn't even begun to rise, and the world outside was still cloaked in darkness. He got up because he had to complete the tasks that were needed to fulfil the conditions of the quest.
Before leaving his room, he glanced at the big ticking clock mounted on the wall. The schedule for the day was displayed clearly: "100 pushups, 100 squats, 10km run... and sword training." He recited the list to himself, looking at the quest display.
With a final nod to the screen, he left his room. The early hour meant that the estate was enveloped in silence. The servants were still asleep, and the only sounds were the faint rustling of leaves and the distant calls of nocturnal creatures winding down their nightly activities. The tranquillity of the early morning was almost palpable.
"Damn... this place is huge," Reich muttered to himself as he walked through the vast estate. The property extended across acres, featuring a diverse array of trees and plants. Well-maintained gardens and pathways added to the serene beauty of the place. A cobblestone path, carefully carved between the lush greenery, led him toward the entrance.
When he reached the entrance, he noticed two knights stationed as guards. Despite their initial appearance of weariness, they snapped to attention upon seeing their master approach. The transformation was immediate—they straightened up, their expressions becoming composed and respectful as they saluted Reich.
"Are you going somewhere, Master Reich?" one of the knights asked politely, his tone filled with curiosity. It was unusual for their typically indolent master to be out and about so early in the morning.
The knight who had spoken suddenly noticed the alarmed expression on his companion's face. The guard on the left side seemed terrified, his eyes wide with fear as he looked at his fellow guard. Realizing the gravity of his mistake, the knight who had spoken quickly bowed, his face flushed with panic.
"I'm sorry, Master! Please forgive me. I didn't mean to question you!" His voice wavered with fear, and his body trembled as he bowed deeply. It was clear that he was terrified by his own audacity.
Reich observed the scene with a puzzled expression. He couldn't quite comprehend why the knight, who had initially asked so casually, was now so terrified and contrite. The abrupt change in behaviour was baffling.
'Damn, seeing this in person, I realize just how terrifying I am to the people,' Reich thought to himself. The realization was a bit unsettling.
"Oh, that's fine," he said aloud, his tone casual and dismissive. "I'm heading out for a run. I need to shed some of this extra weight." He waved off the guard's behavior, choosing to ignore the incident entirely. With that, he continued on his way, leaving the guards to their duties.
"Ten kilometres sprint... Let's do it," Reich exhaled, steeling himself for the challenge that lay ahead.
He started moving with a deliberate rhythm, his steps synchronized to a pace that was neither too fast nor too slow for his current physical state. His body, though once the robust frame of a magic swordsman, had seen better days. He began slowly, aware that pushing too hard too soon could backfire given his less-than-ideal condition.
As he ran around the block, the first kilometer passed without much trouble. He managed it fairly easily, although he was sweating profusely. This initial stretch served another purpose: it allowed him to get used to his surroundings. As he navigated the streets on foot, he began to memorize the layout better, each stride embedding the pathways into his mind. This exercise was not just about physical endurance but also about acclimating to his new, astonishing life.
Who would have thought that a guy, pranked by his friend into playing an NTR game, would end up inside the same game as a lowly villain character? The irony was not lost on him.

Back at the mansion, the knights were abuzz with talk about Reich's overnight transformation.
"You were pretty lucky. You got out unscathed," the relieved knight remarked, his voice tinged with awe.
The knight on the right took a deep breath, feeling as if he had just skirted the edge of death. "Hah! I really did make it out alive. Surprisingly, I thought I'd have my skin peeled off today," he sighed, his relief palpable.
"He did seem different. He didn't speak with that scary, tyrannical voice of his," the other knight observed, his tone reflective.
"Maybe it's because his fiancée left for another man, or maybe not. What matters is that you're safe," the knight on the left replied, trying to rationalize the change in their master's demeanor.

Meanwhile, Reich was pushing through his run. After managing the first two kilometers without much difficulty, he began to feel the strain as he reached the third kilometer. His breathing grew more labored, and by the time he hit the fourth and fifth kilometers, the run was becoming increasingly challenging. His legs started to ache by the sixth kilometer, muscles protesting with every step. What had initially seemed like an easy task was proving to be far more difficult than he had anticipated.
"Huff... Huff... I was completely wrong about this. This is fucking tough!" he muttered to himself, each breath a struggle.
The shortness of breath, excessive sweating, and muscle soreness all intensified as he approached the final kilometers. By the last two kilometers, he was moving at a snail's pace, feeling like a beaten-up dog, barely able to keep moving. His body felt as though it might give out at any moment.
"Finally, I did it!" he exclaimed, collapsing on the road as his legs gave out beneath him. The rough pavement felt cool against his skin as he lay there, utterly spent.
Despite feeling dead tired and moving like a disabled dog by the end, he had completed the run. It had been an exhausting ordeal, but he had managed to push through and finish. His body ached, and he was drenched in sweat, but the sense of accomplishment was undeniable. He had set a goal and achieved it, no matter how arduous the journey had been.
Reich returned to the mansion and headed straight to the training ground. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden hue across the landscape. He took a moment to catch his breath and let his muscles relax after the grueling run. The early morning air was crisp, providing a refreshing contrast to the warmth building in his body from the exertion.
Once he felt ready, he prepared for the next task in his quest: pushups.
"Pushups, let's do it, baby," he muttered to himself, psyching up for the challenge ahead.
