NOVEL NEXT Chapter 3: New Friend
"So, Doraemon." Nobita said with a listless expression that Doraemon now mirrored.
"Why do we live? Just to suffer?" He asked as the two of them were following Dorami and Tamako who were now shopping, both their hands were filled with shopping bags because Dorami and Tamako had decided to go shopping after seeing Nobita's new getup which although suprised Tamako, didn't surprise her too much because she always believed her son was handsome.
"I don't know Nobita, all I know is that women are terrifying." Doraemon replied equally tired as the two of them walked behind.
"Wow! A talking blue raccoon!" A voice suddenly exclaimed from behind as Nobita held back his laugh while Doraemon suddenly trembled and jumped around "I'm not a Raccoon! I'm a Robot Cat from the future!" Doraemon yelled.
A youthful petite and slender girl with long blue hair with a pair of vermilion eyes smiled embarassed as she stuck her tongue out "But you look like a Raccoon, I'm sorry!" She apologized as she bowed to Doraemon.
"Woah! Your ribbon is so soft!" She suddenly said as she suddenly appeared beside Dorami and began touching her ribbon "Thank you for the compliment, My Brother got it for me." Dorami said pointing at Doraemon.
"Hello, I'm Ami Tsuruga! Nice to meet you!" She said cheerfully as she took Nobita's hand shook his hand excitedly "Wait a second!" She suddenly said as she looked at him seriously "Are you a super genius evil scientist who made these robots to take over the world?!" She asked as she jumped back and did a pose.
"No..... I'm not a super genius evil scientist." Nobita said with twitching eyes as Tamako looked between Nobita and Ami with a small smile as Dorami also understood what she meant and slowly dragged Doraemon back.
[ Boss! Smile and Introduce yourself! ] The System advised him and snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Nobita Nobi, nice to meet you." He tried smiling gently like the system advised as Ami suddenly looked at his face seriously "You sure you aren't a Super Genius Evil Scientist who works behind the scenes for his plan of world domination? You look the part." She said gesturing at his clothes which was the suit Dorami picked for him.
"Yes, I'm not a evil scientist who plans to take over the World. I'm just a normal student about to start highschool." He said seriously as she nodded "Oh!" She looked like she accepted it while nodding.
"You look like you'll take over the world tomorrow! I, Ami, The Hero Of Justice shall stop your evil plan from coming to fruition!" She exclaimed striking a pose.
[ Boss! Girls like sweet stuff right?! Why don't you try something? ] The system tried asking him.
"I'll treat you to Ice Cream?" He suddenly said accepting the System's advice as she stopped trying to fight him "Ice Cream?" She asked then shook her head "I shall not fall for your evil plan!" She said.

"So, Strawberry or Vanilla?" He asked as he bought the Ice Cream. "Strawberry please!" She said as she took the Ice Cream from Nobita's hand as he handed the Vanilla flavour Ice Cream to Dorami and his Mother while handing Doraemon a Chocolate Ice Cream.
"So, you're also going to start Highschool?" Nobita asked Ami who nodded while eating the Ice Cream "Um, I'm going to Kirin High School in our city." She said to Nobita who nodded.
"Ah, I'm going to Toyogasaki High School in Tokyo City." Nobita said as she looked at him with wonder "Toyogasaki?! As in that super famous school?!" She asked him while her face was covered in Ice Cream.
"Yes, that Toyogasaki." He replied while subconsciously taking a tissue and wiping her face as she smiled embarassed while taking the tissue from him.
"Doesn't that mean you're super smart?" She asked with bright eyes.
Meanwhile, Doraemon, Dorami and Tamako had those aunt-like smiles as they looked at the interaction between Nobita and Ami.
"I guess?" He smiled embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head, "So, wanna go play at the Arcade?" She asked him with bright eyes as he looked at his mother who nodded.
"Yeah, I'll come with you." He smiled as they walked towards an Arcade nearby.
"Say, you're like really smart right? I mean you got into Toyogasaki, can you tutor me during the holidays?" She asked him as he looked confused at the sudden topic change "Sure?" He agreed confused as she smiled cheerfully and skipped to the Arcade.
[ Boss, I'll give you an advice, don't try to understand women's thinking. ] It advised Nobita who was left confused but still followed her.

"Draw!" The people around Nobita and Ami said as they all sighed again, the machine was showing a tie in the game of 'Street Fighter 2'
This was their 60th round till now.
"Impressive! You managed to draw with me again." Nobita said as he pushed up his glasses as they shone from reflecting the light
"Heh! As expected of you Genius Scientist! You managed to draw with I, Ami again!" Ami said doing a pose.
The two of them had completely let go of their reservations, truly becoming friends in the few hours they'd been acquainted with each other.
"It's getting late." Nobita said as he looked at the setting sun "Where do you live? I'll send you back." He said to her as he and Ami both exited the Arcade.
He walked with Ami as they chatted and joked while they walked, finally reaching infront of a huge building and a cafe at the side Familia Café Terrace, Nobita read as Ami opened the door and went in.
"Grandma! I'm back!" She exclaimed as she dragged Nobita in "I also brought a friend!" She said cheerfully.
"Ami-chan, welcome back." A kind looking elderly woman said with a smile as she looked at Ami.
"Ah? Ami-chan brought a friend over?" She smiled at Nobita as he suddenly felt a chill as four heads poked out from the side while glaring at him.
[Boss! Run!]
