Chapter 503: Chapter 503: A Duel Might Help
Takumi watched as the two in the group chat flung insults at each other, and couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.
Had this group become a place for trolls?
Good thing there weren't any filter words in place, otherwise the whole chat would just be filled with a bunch of asterisks.
Takumi: [How about you two have a duel sometime soon?] [I'll go fetch Gabriel's world.]
As soon as he said that, Kaguya laughed out loud.
Houraisan Kaguya: [@Gabriel, come on, I'll even give you a handicap.]
Beating a washed-up angel like her would be too easy.
Gabriel: [(ノ`Д)ノ] [Get lost!!]
She wasn't stupid. Why would she agree to fight Kaguya?
Those people had been in this group much longer—surely, they'd already used the group's power-up functions.
Even just looking at them, Gabriel knew they were formidable.
The power gap was huge. How could she possibly win?
Would she go in just to be humiliated?
Houraisan Kaguya: [Don't chicken out!]
Gabriel: [Do I look like an idiot to you?]
Chicken out?
Who wouldn't?
Gabriel didn't even know what else to say.
The two continued bickering in the group.
"Is everything settled with Kurumi?" Bronya asked as she came downstairs, just as Takumi was watching the drama unfold.
Wearing home clothes and slippers, Bronya sat down next to him.
"All settled," Takumi replied. "She gave Mio Takamiya a serious beatdown. I'll move the Honkai world over after a while."
Hearing that, Bronya nodded.
"That's good. You don't need to rush with the Honkai world. Take your time. Most of the group's worlds have already been moved. You can handle the big ones slowly. No need to overwork yourself."
She glanced sideways at Takumi.
He had been quite busy lately, jumping between worlds, moving them one after another. He hadn't really rested.
Takumi had a long lifespan—there was no need to rush.
Takumi let out a wry smile.
"I'm not that busy~ It's just that I don't have anything better to do at home, so I figured I might as well take care of these things."
He didn't really feel overwhelmed.
It was just something to do.
"But have you considered what would happen if you move over the Honkai world?"
"That place isn't like other worlds. It has a ton of World Bubbles."
"If you move it here, and eventually establish a connection between the two, won't that flood our world with people?"
"Do you think our world can handle it? Ningguang would probably just quit on the spot."
Bronya couldn't help but complain.
Even if they were planning to bring over the Honkai world, preparations were necessary.
The Honkai world was not some ordinary world. If it were just an average one, they could just move it.
But the Honkai world itself was a massive World Bubble, and beneath the Imaginary Tree were countless smaller World Bubbles.
If they really brought all of that over, how would they handle the influx of people?
Even if not every World Bubble was connected, just linking to the Honkai: Star Rail universe would already keep Takumi extremely busy.
That side had already reached the interstellar age.
If they opened a connection, people from there would immediately come flooding in.
Not to mention, Takumi was considered a Star God over there.
Hearing Bronya's words, Takumi froze.
Damn, he hadn't even thought of that.
Now that she mentioned it, it made perfect sense.
Back then, he was only focused on moving the world.
"Mm... let's slow things down, then."
"We'll handle that side later."
"Establish the connection, but don't open a full passage."
Takumi frowned in thought, then made a decision.
That seemed like the only viable path.
It wasn't a big problem.
"As long as you have a plan," Bronya replied. "Just think it through. Don't move that world over on a whim."
She yawned, clearly not fully awake.
Then she leaned against Takumi's shoulder and started fiddling with her terminal.
Seeing her like that, Takumi was a bit helpless.
He gently smoothed her hair and began chatting with her about other things.
Just as they were enjoying a quiet moment, the doorbell rang.
Takumi was surprised.
"It's Miss Tomoyo," Prometheus's voice echoed.
"Open the door," Takumi said. So Tomoyo was done with her own tasks?
She must have dropped by after finishing her business.
Bronya sat up straight and looked outside.
Not long after, Tomoyo walked in, carrying a basket.
"Is nobody home?" she asked curiously as she stepped in, then saw Takumi and Bronya sitting on the sofa.
Takumi was also surprised by her appearance.
Unlike before, Tomoyo was now dressed in modern clothing, exuding a gentle older-sisterly aura.
"I thought no one was home," she said with a smile as she approached.
"Have a seat. Done with your tasks? What brings you here with free time today?"
Takumi invited her to sit and pulled out a teapot and cups from his Imaginary Space.
Since Ram and Rem weren't home, he had to take care of the hospitality himself.
"I've been done for a while," Tomoyo said cheerfully. "In fact, I've been hanging out around here."
"Here, I brought some specialties from my world for you to try."
Tomoyo smiled warmly as she opened the basket she'd brought.
She took out some specialty snacks from her world, ones she had made herself.
Takumi and Bronya's eyes lit up the moment they saw what she took out—desserts.
As the lid opened, the sweets inside were revealed, and a wonderful aroma wafted toward them.
"Such a nice smell!" Bronya said, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "They look delicious. What ingredients did you use?"
"Smells good, doesn't it? These are made with special spices unique to my homeland."
"Actually, I came here today to ask if those spices might sell well here."
"After all, I want to generate some income for my country too."
"Didn't expect the house to be this empty, though."
Tomoyo looked a bit disappointed as she said that.
Takumi's house wasn't as lively as it had been the last time she came.
Today, only Takumi and Bronya were home.
Hearing what Tomoyo said, both of them were surprised.
So Tomoyo was now hustling for income too?!
