Chapter 480: Chapter 480: I'm Gonna Wreck You!

Fujiwara Chika: [Holy crap!] [Where is she, where is she?]

Sagiri: [Inori Yuzuriha!!!] [Let me see! Where are you right now?~]

Nyaruko: [She's here! I'm coming too!!]

A lot of people really liked Inori Yuzuriha. When they saw Takumi's message, everyone suddenly perked up.

Seeing their reactions, Takumi couldn't help but smile.

Takumi: [Wait a bit, I'll bring her back.] [I'm going to check on her first!]

With that said, Takumi logged off.

"Where is she?" Takumi urgently asked Prometheus.

Since Inori Yuzuriha had already arrived in this world, her location was next.

"She's in an alleyway in City of Hope," Prometheus replied. "She's also holding a Void Genome."

As Prometheus finished speaking, a screen appeared in front of Takumi.

There, with pink hair, Inori Yuzuriha stood looking lost in a small alley, holding a silver bottle—the Void Genome.

It looked like she had just obtained it, possibly right at the beginning of the story?

Could it be that she was transported over as soon as the plot began?

Or maybe the invitation letter and the Genome were placed together, and she picked it up by chance?

Either way, since Inori was here, Takumi naturally had to go check on her.

Thinking this, he closed the screen and disappeared from where he stood.

Meanwhile, in the alley of the City of Hope, Inori stood there, bewildered, looking around.

"Where... is this?"

Wasn't she in that research facility?

Yet after opening an invitation letter, she was suddenly transported here?

What exactly had happened?

Inori's mind buzzed, unable to comprehend where she was.

Just as she was about to step out and look around, a person suddenly appeared in front of her.

Startled, she raised her pistol and aimed at him, gripping the Void Genome tightly.

"Don't be nervous, Miss Inori," Takumi said, a bit helpless seeing the gun pointed at him.

Hearing him call her by name only made Inori more suspicious, and she gripped the gun tighter.

Who was this man? Why did he know her name?

"That thing doesn't work on me," Takumi said.

"And if I wanted to do anything to you, you wouldn't be able to resist."

As Inori's mind ran wild, Takumi suddenly appeared before her, taking both the Genome and her pistol right from her hands.

Inori was stunned, unable to react.

"Who are you?!" she gasped, eyes wide.

Such power?

Who exactly was this man?

She quickly stepped back to create some distance, trying to regain a sense of safety.

"This is no longer your world," Takumi said. "You're in another world now."

With that, he tossed the pistol back to her—but not the Genome. That he held onto.

Takumi looked at the Genome in his hand, full of curiosity. Inori instinctively caught the gun, blinking at it.

The Genome, however, remained in Takumi's possession.

Inori was now even more confused. Another world?

Was this man telling the truth?

"Come with me," Takumi said. "I told you, no need to be so alert. If I meant to hurt you, you couldn't stop me."

Still holding the Genome, he opened a spatial portal right in front of her.

Inori was shocked again by what she saw.

Takumi didn't say more and walked through the portal.

Inori hesitated briefly, then followed.

Just as he said, if he wanted to do anything to her, she wouldn't be able to fight back.

Takumi led Inori through the portal into a massive research facility.

As soon as she stepped through, the portal behind her closed.

Looking around the unfamiliar environment, she grew even more confused.

Why bring her here?

"You should know your own physical condition," Takumi said.

"If you go on like this, you'll die."

"So, let's adjust your body first."

"Mobius, are you there? I brought someone for you!!"

Takumi explained briefly to Inori, then shouted inside the lab.

Hearing this, Inori frowned.

"Who are you? How do you know so much?"

Even this he knew?

Now she was even more bewildered. This man seemed to know a lot, but was also a total mystery.

"My name is Takumi," he replied.

"I'm the boss of this world."

"You came here because of an invitation letter I sent out."

"You must have come into contact with one, right?"

"That letter randomly invites people from other worlds. You were chosen."

Takumi looked at her and began to explain.

Hearing this, Inori blinked.

"Invitation letter..."

Now that he mentioned it... Inori remembered the invitation tucked away.

She quickly pulled it out.

"This one?" she asked, holding it up and glancing between it and Takumi.

"Exactly," he nodded.

But Takumi was now more curious about where she'd stored it.

Was it really just in her pocket?

"What the hell did you bring me this time?!"

A furious voice rang out from within the lab.

The owner of the voice was none other than Mobius.

She had been in the middle of an experiment and was startled by Takumi's shout, nearly dropping her equipment.

Because of that, Mobius stormed out, full of murderous aura.

Klein followed behind her, looking somewhat annoyed—likely having just been scolded.

"Help adjust her body and study this thing," Takumi said, handing the Genome to Mobius.

"Klein, explain our world to her."

Though Takumi could handle it himself, this was a job better left to Mobius. She'd give Inori the perfect solution.

Mobius frowned, eyeing the Genome and then looking at Inori.

"Clone? Got it."

This was right up her alley. After all, she had adjusted the Sister clones.

With that, she casually took the Genome and grabbed Inori, dragging her into the lab.

Inori instinctively tried to resist, but it was pointless.

"Don't struggle, she's treating you," Takumi reminded her.

Hearing that, Inori finally stopped resisting.

Hopefully, nothing would go wrong?

Inori was nervous beyond belief as she was pulled into the lab and placed inside a culture tank.

Takumi didn't follow them in.

After all, what happened in there was premium content.
