Chapter 450: Chapter 450: I Know This Too Well, I’m a Pro at It
Although Takumi possessed the Soul Frame of Humanity's Final Hope, gaining a world's recognition wasn't something that happened the moment he arrived. It took time to fully establish.
Because of this, all Takumi needed to do now was wait patiently. He didn't even need to actively seek out those who possessed strategic-level magic.
Of course, there was one girl Takumi still planned to visit.
Bronya: [What's your plan for bringing them back? Many people probably won't agree to leave their world, right?]
Seeing Takumi's message, Bronya was curious. If Takumi wanted to bring people back, could he really convince them? Their world wasn't lacking in anything—why would anyone willingly leave?
Takumi: [Not a problem at all! Always believe in me!]
Takumi was full of confidence. If all else failed, he'd just abduct them.
It wasn't a big deal. Really, it wasn't an issue.
Everyone in the group chat fell silent.
White Yasha: [Worst case, you just kidnap them, right?]
She got it. If you take a liking to someone—just snatch them.
Resistance? With what?
Bring the whole family along, and the target will definitely follow obediently.
Takumi: [Exactly! Just kidnap them if needed.]
No problem at all. He was a seasoned expert in this.
Takumi chatted with the group for a while, then exited the chat and resumed browsing this world's network.
The next day, Takumi continued to wander around.
As he explored, more and more of this world's knowledge began pouring into Takumi's mind—including strategic-level magic and information about the origins of magic in this world, as well as its history.
In just two more days, Takumi estimated he could fully absorb everything about this world.
A very promising outcome.
Back in his hotel, Takumi was very satisfied. He'd gained a lot. Once he returned, he could extract tons of useful tech and magic knowledge.
Tech combined with magic.
Even though development was already happening on his side, it was still too slow.
He figured he could bring back some of this world's magic researchers.
With that thought, Takumi decided to act ahead of schedule.
He would bring back anyone good at magical development.
He wasn't worried about causing chaos.
With this mindset, Takumi summoned several clones and set them in motion.
The Authority of Domination activated.
The clones Takumi created had no will of their own. They only followed his commands and acted exactly as he intended.
For convenience, he disguised them in different identities.
After all, none of the blame would fall on him directly.
Under Takumi's control, the clones were dispatched to research institutions around the world.
Within minutes, news of mass attacks on major research facilities started flooding global networks.
The trending headlines exploded.
Every well-known research center had been hit, and many personnel were kidnapped—including some very famous names.
Despite strong armed security, the institutions were helpless against Takumi's overwhelming force.
One clone even encountered a strategic-class mage. The battle lasted a single round before the opponent was defeated.
The world was stunned.
Worse, the researchers' families began to disappear one by one.
Panic spread instantly.
Clearly, the attacks were well-organized abductions.
High-level individuals were the targets.
As a result, suspicion turned toward rival nations and factions.
The already tense world teetered on the edge of conflict.
Even though the kidnappings were global, each region still blamed its own enemies.
The Great Asian Alliance suddenly received mysterious "gifts"—a few strategic-class spells and a treasure trove of magical knowledge.
They were completely dumbfounded.
Yes, people had been abducted, but they gained unexpected benefits.
It felt like striking a jackpot.
No one knew what had happened, but the results were far from bad.
Their national power had jumped several levels.
They might even be able to crush their neighbors now.
Takumi's actions had thrown the whole world into turmoil.
The powder keg was ready—only a spark was needed.
And all of this had been set in motion by Takumi.
After securing the researchers, Takumi placed them in his imaginary space and supplied them with plenty of food.
To prevent conflicts, he thoughtfully separated them into different sections.
Satisfied, Takumi nodded approvingly.
Next up were the noble families that possessed vast magical heritage.
Naturally, he wouldn't spare them.
Some would need a bit of brainwashing.
But that was no big deal—it was easy for Takumi.
Smiling brightly, he prepared to act.
Just as he wrapped up his current tasks, he received a message from Mayumi Saegusa.
The student council president was actually reaching out to him?
Rare indeed.
Takumi's eyes gleamed as he sent her a video call.
On the other end, Mayumi blinked in surprise.
She quickly looked around and, seeing no one nearby and that her outfit was fine, accepted the call.
"Hello, Takumi-kun!"
Her eyes sparkled when she saw Takumi.
"Did I disturb you?" Takumi smiled at the screen.
"Not at all. School hasn't started yet, so I've got plenty of free time."
"Say, Takumi-kun, are you in a hotel?"
She looked at his background with curiosity.
He was staying at a hotel?
"Yup. I'm from out of town, as you know. I haven't rented a place yet, so I'm staying at a hotel for now."
He gave a casual explanation.
Mayumi nodded in understanding.
After thinking for a moment, she asked, "Want me to help? I know all the good rental spots near the school."
She offered enthusiastically.
She even had a vacant apartment nearby she could rent to him directly.
But Takumi declined.
"No need. I'll find a place myself later."
(What he didn't say was: you'll just move in with me later.)
Mayumi looked a little disappointed after his refusal.
