Chapter 267: Chapter 267: This World is in the Midst of a Great War

Takumi looked at the mechanized species (Kikai-shu) that had appeared before him. He silently snapped a photo and sent it into the group chat. The photo was taken directly in front of Shubi.

Takumi: [Picture]

Takumi posted a photo of Shubi in the group.

Upon seeing the photo, Chika Fujiwara, who was currently fighting zombies, popped up in the chat.

Chika Fujiwara: [Shubi??] [No Game No Life?] [And these mechanized species!!] [Is this at the start of the Great War?]

Wow, turns out it's this world?

Megumi Kato: [Stop chatting. Get back to work!!]

Bronya: [This world, huh. So what do you plan to do?] [At this point in time, aren't they in the middle of the Great War?] [Good thing the world hasn't fused yet, or given the nature of the Flugel and the Demons...]

Bronya had watched No Game No Life in Takumi's world. She didn't expect this to be the world they'd arrived in. The god of this world was something else—especially the God of War. One of their attacks could destroy an entire planet. If not for the special nature of this world, that kind of power would have already obliterated everything.

Then there were the Dragonoids. Massive bodies, immense power, refined command skills, sharp intellect, and eternal life. Their combat abilities were overwhelmingly strong. Their bones were harder than any known mineral. Even in death, their bodies remain.

According to the novel's setting, it would take nearly a hundred Flugel to bring down a single Dragonoid. In fact, the Flugel were used as units of measurement for combat strength:

1 Dragonoid = 100 Flugel.

Even the weakest Dragonoid had a single scale that contained the same energy as a full-powered Heaven Strike from a Flugel. And those scales numbered in the trillions.

Their strength was unimaginable.

The strongest—Final Dragons—had power on par with Artosh. Their existence was beyond comprehension. Higher-level Dragonoids existed across time itself, transcending past and future from the present as multidimensional lifeforms. They could reflect and infinitely amplify the power of multiple timelines.

From these settings alone, it was clear how strong the world of No Game No Life was.

Once Takumi realized which world this was, he understood why the mission offered so many points. After all, the races in this world were overwhelmingly powerful.

First tier: Gods—beings born from the concept of the planet. No conceptual god is weak. Second tier: Phantasmal species like Avant Heim, home to the Flugel. Third tier: Elves, whose corridors formed the Elf nation. The black ash in the sky was left behind when they perished. Fourth tier: Dragonoids.

Then came Giants, Flugel, Forest Spirits, Earth Spirits, Fairies, Kikai-shu (mechanical species), Demons, Vampires, Moon Song species, Beastmen, Seafolk, and finally, the Human species, the last to be recognized.

These sixteen races formed the core of No Game No Life, although there were still others, much like how humans weren't recognized at first.

After posting about the mechanized species in the group, Takumi's gaze returned to them. They now possessed emotional templates. Though their appearances were still cold and mechanical, their eyes as they looked at Takumi brimmed with curiosity. These machine species, once strict rule-followers, now exhibited a new curiosity.

Several of them had already begun scanning Takumi. They were highly curious about what kind of race he was.

"So you're all here... then, do you want to fight me?"

Upon hearing Takumi, a leading Kikai-shu stepped forward.

"Thank you for your help. From this moment on, all Kikai-shu will become your allies."

It didn't waste words, diving straight into the topic. What Takumi had uploaded allowed them to obtain what they had long sought—heart. Those emotional templates gave them the ability to begin thinking for themselves.

This unknown entity before them—according to their calculations—was worthy of following. Just based on the immense data Takumi provided, they were willing to follow him.

Takumi smiled brightly at the declaration.

"Is that so? That's great."

He hadn't expected them to decide this so easily. Things were going smoother than he thought. His grin widened.

"Open your databases. I need some things. In return, I'll give you something as well."

The mechanized species were incredibly useful. Without waiting for their response, Takumi began his operation—copying everything stored within their databases.

These databases were immense, holding records of this world's history, including various types of magic. While not as complete as they might be in the future, the amount was still significant.

Takumi copied all the information, and in return, uploaded his own knowledge—various magics, as well as mechanical and technological knowledge.

Included was information from Hakasezun and the EXE world. The influx of data nearly crashed the Kikai-shu systems. But it also enriched their emotional templates.

In addition to knowledge, Takumi had also uploaded philosophical content. Fortunately, though the data was vast, their processing abilities were equally powerful. Moreover, they could pool their processing power collectively.

Thus, they quickly understood everything Takumi had given them. Their willingness to follow him saved Takumi considerable effort.

Of course, if it came down to a fight, Takumi had ways to instantly disable them and forcefully take control.

"Now, change your appearance. Make yourselves more 'human.'"

Takumi looked at the Kikai-shu, still covered in metal parts, and suddenly said that.

Upon hearing him, the Kikai-shu began to simulate new forms. Mechanical parts gradually disappeared, leaving behind humanoid appearances. At least visually, they were indistinguishable from humans. Some even simulated internal organs.

With Takumi's data, modifying themselves was child's play.

Once they were done, Takumi issued a new command:

"From now on, each of you must have your own name. Then, I'll need you to carry out a few tasks for me!"

As he said this, Takumi's smile beamed with excitement.
