When Logan saw Kerparos' stats, his eyes lit up.
Unlike Lilith, Kerparos didn't have a lot of fancy abilities.
But after this transformation, every one of Kerparos' skills had gotten extremely strong.
For example, the [Iron Hide] talent, which used to just improve Kerparos' defense, had evolved into [Indestructible Golden Body].
[Iron Hide] only made Kerparos better at taking hits, but [Indestructible Golden Body] locked in the maximum damage Kerparos could take.
With [Indestructible Golden Body], Kerparos would no longer be able to take any fatal or disabling damage. It was extremely strong.
Any attack that was more than 10% stronger than Kerparos' limit would be capped at exactly 10%.
As for [Super Hearing] and [Super Smell], these abilities had broken through their original rules, giving Kerparos the power to communicate with everything and to see the truth of what had happened in an area.
In short, just with these three talents, Kerparos was already more useful than Lilith.
It might not be as strong in battle as Lilith, but in important situations, it had a strategic value.
Realizing this, Logan immediately used [Dimensional Ambush] to send Kerparos far away to the battlefield.
He needed to find out why Fischl's [Summon Spirit] Battle Style was so different from the one Maya Archbishop had given him.
Even though Logan had already expected that the [Summon Spirit] Battle Style stone from Maya Archbishop had probably been tampered with, he hadn't expected Fischl's version to be able to directly summon specific spirits — something way beyond what Maya Archbishop had described.
Just then, Logan instinctively looked up and locked eyes with Maya Archbishop.
At that moment, The Pope David was pretending to be sleeping with his eyes closed. Seeing the chance, Maya Archbishop gave Logan a quick finger wave, signaling him to get rid of the body in the ring as soon as possible.
Logan saw this and let out a cold snort. He reached into his pocket.
Suddenly, Maya Archbishop's body trembled, and her face turned red.
One of the other Archbishops nearby noticed and asked."Maya, are you okay? Is it too hot here?"
"No, no! I've just been doing too much exercise lately!" Maya stammered, gripping her skirt tightly and moving her waist back and forth.
"Ah!" she let out a startled cry, her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed onto the seat like a deflated balloon, her legs still shaking.
The other Archbishops around her frowned.
At that moment, Logan pulled his hand out of his pocket. His middle and index fingers had some strange liquid on them.
Maya Archbishop, lying on the seat, looked at Logan with a sad, angry expression, her legs tightly pressed together.
"Logan! How could you!" After regaining her senses, Maya Archbishop looked at Logan with a fierce expression full of anger.
She immediately stood up and ran straight to the bathroom.
A few moments later, the sound of water could be heard, and finally, a ring fell out of Maya's body.
Struggling through the discomfort, Maya Archbishop called out a water snake familiar to retrieve the ring.
Once she was sure all the bodies inside the ring were gone, she finally let out a sigh of relief — but then she clenched her teeth in anger.
"Logan! How dare you play with me!"
What had just happened was that Logan had used [Dimensional Ambush] to put his hand under Maya Archbishop's skirt, giving her a sensitive and awkward "massage."
Her lower body had been pressed, rolled, and stirred for half an hour.
In the end, while she was excited, he had intentionally pushed the space ring into her body.
This was a huge insult to Maya Archbishop.
But thinking about her own plans, she suppressed her anger and returned to the viewing area at the entrance of Land of Sins.
At that moment, The Pope David had already opened his eyes. Seeing Maya walk back with her hips swaying, he smiled and moved to make space beside him.
"Maya Archbishop, I've been waiting for you."
Maya sat down beside The Pope David, her face expressionless.
"Your Holiness, is there something you need me to do?"
The Pope David, hearing this, nodded. "It's already been eight hours. It's time we went to check on Fischl's performance."
Maya Archbishop was taken aback. "Your Holiness, are you planning to go deep into the Land of Sins?"
Hearing her words, the other Archbishops turned to look at her, their faces full of shock.
The Pope David looked around at everyone and gave a mysterious smile. "It's been so quiet for so long. We should make sure whether Fischl is still alive or not. After all, it wouldn't be good to let our guest wait here forever."
After saying that, The Pope David turned to look at Logan with a knowing look. "Logan, you should go back and rest."
Right now, Maya Archbishop might attack The Pope David at any moment. Logan didn't want to get involved, so he quickly refused. "I'll stay here and wait. Your Holiness, go and come back soon."
Seeing this, The Pope David gave a quick glance at Vincent and then left the viewing area with a group of Archbishops.
Vincent watched as The Pope David and the others flew away on their familiars. He then walked over to Logan and asked."Why didn't you go? You don't want to know if Fischl is in danger?"
Logan just smiled and shook his head. "There's no danger. Besides, I can still see everything clearly from here."
Vincent repeated Logan's words a few times. Then, suddenly, he realized something. "Wait a second—you can sense Fischl from miles away, right?"
Logan nodded silently, confirming Vincent's guess.
Of course, he didn't mention that he could sense things up to thirty kilometers away. He didn't want to scare Vincent.
But even with that, Vincent still stared at Logan like he was some kind of monster.
For someone like Vincent, who had the ability to flash teleport, he knew very well what it meant to have a long-range sensing ability. So he warned Logan."You're showing off too much. If you keep this up, I'm afraid The Pope might just kill you."
Logan just laughed. "It's up to him to have the chance."
Vincent knew Logan was likely hiding more power, so he didn't say anything else.
Meanwhile, Logan wasn't sitting idle either. He kept an eye on The Pope and the others. He also made sure that Nami and Heserion avoided running into them. After all, the plan to loot the Land of Sins had to stay secret. If they were discovered, it would be a mess.
As for Kerparos, he didn't need to be told to stay hidden. The old dog was already moving around, carefully going through the places where Heserion had left the bodies.
Logan believed that if Kerparos could communicate with those corpses, he would eventually find out the secret behind the [Summon Spirit] Battle Style.
So, a game of hide-and-seek began.
The Pope and the Archbishops were searching for Fischl, while Fischl and her spirit bodies were looking for bodies to possess. Meanwhile, Logan was directing his familiars to gather resources.
The Pope and the Archbishops searched their way through the land, trying to find any sign of Fischl.
But the more they searched, the more shocked they became.
The first battlefield was a forest. Trees were lying on the ground, and deep burn marks were everywhere. The smell of blood and smoke was thick in the air. It was clear that a big fight had taken place here.
But after checking three times, they found not a single corpse.
The second battlefield was a cave system.
What used to be a two-kilometer-long tunnel was now half collapsed. Even the exposed rocks had cracks and big claw marks all over them.
The Pope and the Archbishops searched through the tunnels and found more than a dozen familiar tamer camps. There were signs of life around them.
But no matter how many times they searched, they couldn't find a single familiar tamer corpse.
What was even worse was that the camps had been robbed. Everything valuable—resources, treasures, plants, and even stones—was gone.
After going through more than a dozen similar places, The Pope David and Maya Archbishop were finally angry.
The Pope David looked at Maya Archbishop with a cold face and said."What is Fischl doing? Is she challenging the Supernova, or is she robbing the Land of Sins? She's taking everything—valuable items, supplies, plants, even corpses. The whole area is cleaner than my face after we passed through!"
Maya Archbishop looked upset as she listened to The Pope's angry words.
She couldn't understand how her own student could act like this.
At that moment, one of the Archbishops spoke up. "Your Holiness, could it be that there are internal conflicts within the Land of Sins? The Imperial Princess isn't allowed to bring a space ring into the Supernova challenge. From what we've seen, the amount of missing supplies we've passed is way more than what one space ring can hold."
Hearing this, The Pope David nodded silently. "That's possible. A normal familiar tamer wouldn't use their own familiar space as a storage. Fischl must be lucky this time. The internal fights in the Land of Sins have greatly reduced the danger of her facing the Blood Cultivation Realm."
