Chapter 167: The Tragic Fate of the Imperial Princesses!
When Logan entered the Blood Cultivation Realm, he was immediately affected by the cold and eerie atmosphere around him.
The entire Blood Cultivation Realm looked like a mirrored space made of countless reflective surfaces.
Every step Logan took created thousands of reflections in the mirrors.
His eyes were confused by the endless reflections, and he quickly lost his sense of direction. So he closed his eyes and used his [Space Sensing] and [Soul Power] to scan the surroundings.
Suddenly, a strange creature, completely different from Logan, flashed through the mirrors.
As soon as Logan focused on the mirror where it appeared, it disappeared and reappeared in another one.
This kind of monster that moved only within the mirrors was hard to track. So Logan pretended not to care and kept moving forward.
The monster saw that Logan couldn't catch it, and it grinned with a cruel smile.
Just as Logan passed through a section of mirrored space, the creature suddenly appeared behind him and jumped out of the mirror.
Logan was always alert, and as soon as the monster showed up, he spotted it.
Through other mirrors, he saw the monster rushing toward him and immediately looked scared.
He didn't stop running and, at the last moment, jumped forward to avoid the attack.
But the monster didn't give up. It kept moving between the mirrors, looking for a new chance.
Logan ran and the monster chased him. Finally, when the monster jumped out of another mirror, Logan ran again.
The monster seemed to have expected Logan to dodge. It grinned and jumped completely out of the mirror, rushing toward Logan.
Logan's escape had made the monster too confident.
At the moment Logan saw the monster's feet completely leave the mirror, he smiled widely: "You fell for it!"
As soon as he spoke, Logan's [Space Restriction] ability activated, locking the space around him with his [Slime Battle Style].
The monster, which had just looked fierce and ready to kill Logan, now hung frozen in the air like a specimen.
Logan stared at the monster and quickly gathered information about it.

"Absorbing emotions to get stronger?" Logan had never seen a monster with such a power before. A sense of curiosity rose in his heart.
But just as he was about to try to control this Emotion-devouring Beast, the mirrors around him suddenly showed dozens of its faces, all fierce and terrifying.
Because the space around them was completely locked down, the group of Emotion-devouring Beasts could only struggle inside the mirrors. They couldn't escape to threaten Logan.
Logan smiled at the group and turned to the one still floating in the air. He used his "Enslave Mind" ability on it.
Soon, the Emotion-devouring Beast was completely under Logan's control. It stared at him with big, wide eyes, sending out signals of begging and pleading.
Seeing it act so nicely, Logan took out his phone, opened a photo of Fischl, and held it up to the beast's face: "Do you know her?"
As soon as the beast saw Fischl, its eyes blinked rapidly. It clearly recognized her.
Logan didn't waste any time. He removed the "Space Restriction" from the beast and ordered: "Take me to her."
With that, both man and beast vanished from the locked space in an instant.
When the other Emotion-devouring Beasts in the mirrors finally realized what was happening, the space around them suddenly twisted.
All the mirrors started to press and fold in on each other, shrinking the once-large space into less than 100 square meters.
The smooth mirrors couldn't handle the pressure and shattered into tiny pieces. Along with the beasts inside them, they were all destroyed in the space disaster.
Logan and the beast flew quickly through the realm and soon reached the end of the Blood Cultivation Realm — a palace built from ice crystals.
As soon as Logan stepped through the palace doors, he saw Fischl sitting on the throne, surrounded by three golden Emotion-devouring Beasts. They were feeding on her emotions.
Logan looked around and realized all three beasts were at the Legend Stage.
He tried to step forward to stop them, but Fischl stopped him with a single look. "Don't interfere. I did this on my own."
Logan stood there, stunned, until the three beasts finally finished taking the last bit of emotion from Fischl. Then they happily jumped back into the mirrors and disappeared from the hall.
Logan walked up to Fischl and frowned. "That's why you always act cold and keep people away?"
At that moment, Fischl's face was like a statue — elegant, but without any emotion. Her eyes were empty, and she just stared at Logan. "This is a ritual all Imperial Princesses must go through. To protect The Black Church, we are not allowed to have emotions. Every so often, we must go through an emotion-severing ceremony."
Logan's eyes widened in shock. "Imperial Princesses are respected in The Black Church, aren't they? Why are you being treated like this?"
Fischl's eyes showed no emotion as she explained."It's a long story. I can only tell you that this is our fate. Not just me, but all Imperial Princesses in The Black Church must go through this."
She turned to look at Logan and said coldly."You don't need to worry about me. I didn't lose my memories — I just lost my emotions. I remember everything that happened between us."
Logan looked at her, his eyes flickering slightly. "What can I do to help you? I mean, what should I do to make you normal again?"
Fischl's eyes flickered slightly at his words, but she quickly returned to her usual calm. "Instead of becoming normal, I need you to help me survive the [Land of Sins] supernova challenge."
She handed Logan a string of crystal beads and said."On the day of the challenge, you'll be the representative of the Human Federation and enter the [Land of Sins] to watch the event. I need you to bring this with you. When I need it, you'll give it back to me."
Logan took the crystal necklace and frowned. He didn't see anything special about it and asked."What's it for? Why don't you just take it yourself?"
Fischl, seeing Logan's confusion, explained."Imperial Princesses who enter the supernova challenge are not allowed to bring any magical items — except for their familiar and weapons."
She then walked up to Logan and looked directly into his eyes, asking."Without this necklace, I won't be able to finish the challenge. Only your [Dimensional Ambush] can give it to me without anyone noticing."
Logan looked at the necklace again, trying to figure out what made it special. But after trying for a while, he couldn't find anything and finally sighed."Okay, I'll make sure to give it to you myself on that day."
Fischl nodded mechanically and then turned back to the throne, staring blankly at Logan. "Thanks. I need to prepare for the challenge. You can go."
Logan saw that her voice had no emotion at all. He sighed and turned to leave.
Back in his room, he took out the crystal necklace again and called out Kerparos to help study it.
But even Kerparos couldn't figure out what the necklace was for. He sighed and said."Master, you'll understand its purpose when you give it to Fischl. Instead of spending time trying to figure it out, you should focus on training your battle style."
Logan raised an eyebrow. "By the way, you used to be in The Black Church. How much do you know about Imperial Princesses?"
Kerparos listened to Logan explain how Fischl had willingly gone through the emotion-severing ritual. He shook his head and muttered."I didn't expect The Black Church was still doing this kind of experiment."
"Experiment?" Logan asked, looking at Kerparos curiously."You know something?"
Kerparos looked at Logan and sighed. "I only know rumors. Imperial Princesses have such a high status in The Black Church because they are the key to awakening its ultimate weapon. The Church was able to grow to its current size with thirteen Holy Cities, all because of that weapon. It's said that every time they use the weapon, they must sacrifice one Imperial Princess. That's why they train so many of them."
"Ultimate weapon?" Logan frowned. "So you're saying Imperial Princesses are just a resource for The Black Church?"
Kerparos nodded silently. "Unless they reach the Saint Stage, they're just sacrifices."
Logan didn't realize how bad Fischl's situation was. No wonder she had left The Black Church and come to the Human Federation in search of a chance.
Thinking about this, Logan took out the stone tablet engraved with the [Three-Headed Hell Wolf Battle Style] and said with a determined look."It looks like the only way to help her is to get stronger."
"Exactly!" A voice said from behind. Vincent suddenly appeared in Logan's room. "Fischl didn't choose the wrong person. Logan, you're someone I can trust."
With that, Vincent tossed Logan a pink phone and smiled. "Here. This is what Fischl wanted to say to you before she went through the emotion-severing ritual."
