American Comics: The Law of Strength

Chapter 14

In the evening, as if to set off this Valentine's Day, bits and pieces of snowflakes fell for a whole day.

Flying snowflakes gradually spread throughout the city.

All the filth on the ground was covered with snowflakes and disappeared, replaced by a white world covered in thick snow.

At first glance, it looks a bit like a fairytale country.

A couple on the street are reveling in this dreamlike moment.

Fisker stood with his hands behind his back, expressionlessly overlooking the city in the restaurant, the highest floor of the hotel.

In front of the hotel, the iconic red and blue flags of the United States swirled in the snowy night, as if crawling at his feet while waving their minions at any visitor. The

brightly lit hotel looked dark and aggressive under his feet at the moment.

Fisker turned his head and scanned the entire restaurant, but at this time there was only one table of guests in the large dining room.

At the table that could accommodate ten people, only two strong men and one girl were seated at this time.

This combination is very weird, but what is even weirder is that all three of them are wearing different forms of uniforms.

Two of the men wore smooth masks, and even the small holes that exposed their eyes were covered by black silk mesh, completely obscuring their faces.

The biggest difference between the two of them is that one is wearing an all-red uniform, while the other is wearing a dark purple uniform.

These two are the bullseye and prowler who fought Peter before.

Bullseye was now leaning loosely on the back of the chair, and his hand with armor gloves was beating a drum on the wooden arm of the chair, not knowing what to think. The

wanderer sitting next to him was bored holding his mobile phone, looking addicted.

The girl sitting on the side had a completely different painting style from the two of them.

The delicate mask covered only her eyes, and her tall figure was wrapped in a tight black uniform that framed her perfect curves.

With that silver-white long hair, it makes her whole person look enchanting.

And the girl was now with her feet on the table, stretching her waist with her hands facing the sky, and yawning boredly.

The posture of the beautiful girl who has lost her body is more artistic than sensationalism.

However, none of the few people present lingered in the charm of the girl, and they were even faintly guarded.

Because they all knew how dangerous this girl was.

Also because the girl's name is Black Cat.

"Mr. Fisk, he's already here."

Just then, another young man walked into the restaurant.

He was wearing a pair of huge sunglasses, and he was holding a cane made of solid wood in his hand, and as he walked, the cane kept tapping lightly on the ground, a standard blind dress.

However, his light actions make it difficult to connect him with the blind.

And Fisk's expression also softened a little, and he bowed his head slightly in response, as if he believed that the other party could "see" his movements.

And several people at the table also changed their lazy appearance and sat up straight.

"Hard work on you, Matt."

Matt didn't respond and didn't find a place to sit, but stood directly next to Fisk.

At this time, a middle-aged man was escorted into the huge restaurant by two strong men, and if Diane was here, she would immediately recognize this person as her father, Eric Bernano.

He walked into the dining room expressionlessly, standing at the table without saying a word, staring at Fisk as if he wanted to tear him apart with his gaze.

Fisk's gaze did not stay on Eric, he pulled out a chair and sat down directly, put his hands on his chest, and then raised his chin imperceptibly, and several guards who watched Eric nodded and saluted, and then left the restaurant without making a sound.

"Mr. Eric, I look forward to meeting you, and your presence here tonight has brightened the place.

Have a seat, Mr. Eric, you are my distinguished guest, and you don't need to be inhibited here.

Fisk's attitude was very polite, even to the point of some respect, but Eric felt some irresistible coercion and strength from him.

Eric very happily chose to back down, and he sat down according to his words.

"Some black tea? Mr. Eric? This is the perfect night for sipping tea. It's a little cold, but it's refreshing and clear.

Before Eric could react, the waiter waiting at the edge of the restaurant walked to Eric with a tray that had already prepared teapots and teacups, and elegantly poured tea for him.

Eric took another deep look at Fisk, then quietly took the teacup and swallowed the black tea with some determination.

Black tea has a strong aroma, and even the temperature has been adjusted to a better extent that it can be eaten, which shows that some effort has been made.

However, Eric did not enjoy it in the slightest, and after drinking all the black tea, he looked at Fisk again, waiting for the other party to decide his final fate.

However, Fisk seemed to just invite him to tea, and he calmly sipped the black tea, without the slightest intention of speaking.

After a few minutes of silence, Eric finally couldn't help but ask directly:

"So what exactly did you bring me here for today?" Kill me to pave the way for that stupid nephew of mine? Or do you want to threaten me to earn benefits from our family?

"Mr. Eric." Fisk interrupted him, but in a calm and gentle manner, even disgusting.

Fisk stood up, took the teapot from the waiter's hand, and personally stepped forward to pour a cup of tea for Eric.

"I am not an idiot, if I kill you, then your nephew will justifiably regard me as an enemy, cut off his partnership with me, and then use your death to deepen his control over the Bernano family in order to fight against me, the 'common enemy of the family'."

So he kept urging me to kill you, and at the same time asking me to hunt down your daughter Diane and hand it over to him.

Hearing Diane's name, Eric stood up abruptly, staring at Fisk angrily, his lips constantly opening and closing, but he didn't say a word.

Because he understands that the threat that cannot be fulfilled is just a joke.

Eric forced himself to calm down and asked,

"So you caught my daughter?"

Fisk shook his head.

"I did order my subordinates to bring your daughter here, but not to serve your nephew, but to protect her with you.

But your daughter doesn't seem to need our protection, and she has found some very powerful allies for herself.

Hearing this, the bullseye was obviously a little irritable, and the wanderer was also a little uncomfortable.

Only the catwoman on the side glanced at the two with interest, and was a little curious about Diane's "powerful ally". Eric was not interested in the reaction of the

others, only relieved to hear that Diane was safe and sound, and then he whispered:

"Then what is your purpose in participating in the infighting of our family and seeking family status for my nephew?" Hopefully, your answer isn't to make money, or you might be a little dumber than you think.

Fisker chuckled and shook his head.

"I can tell that you think I'm a hypocritical bastard or a vile usurper, but in fact I'm not doing all this for profit, and what I want is not your family's inheritance or your money.

And the object I want to work with is not your nephew, who is controlled by ambition, but you personally.

"Work with me?"

Eric couldn't even help but sneer after hearing this.

"You first helped the traitors in our family usurp the throne, then kidnapped me here, and now you are trying to kidnap my family.

With all due respect, Mr. Fisk, this is the first time I've heard of this way of talking about cooperation.

Fisk did not care about the sarcasm in Eric's words, he shook his head and still calmly replied:

"As I said before, I regard you as the most honorable guest, although the invitation method is a bit rude, but only then can I deign you to negotiate with a usurper like me."

Eric looked at the tall Fisk in front of him, with a disdainful expression on his face, he was not fooled by Fisk's humility, he understood that the pride of the person in front of him was hidden in this humility.

"So I'm here and I've wasted a week, so why don't we take this opportunity now to talk openly and honestly about your 'cooperation'?"

Like, what exactly do you want?

"I want only one thing." It was still a

calm voice, still that gentle attitude, but every word Fisk spat out at this time was like a low roar before the head wolf launched a hunt.

"Power!"

A simple word, when it was pronounced by Fisk, it was as if even his soul was injected into it, like a thunder in the flat ground, throwing a sound!
