Through the channels of the Hanberger Foundation, the funds were transferred to the designated account of the General Electric Boat Company.

Darcy led a few people aboard the destroyer and visited the bridge and the engine room, providing some explanations. Darcy gave them the General Electric Boat Company's selling price, a second-hand retired destroyer priced at 55 million US Dollars. This price was clearly much more favorable than that of the combat ship, after all, a second-hand Spruance-class destroyer varies in price from 40 million to 200 million US Dollars.

The price of 55 million US Dollars was mainly because the General Electric Boat Company only sells the destroyer's hull, without suitable weapons systems available for purchase, only including ordinary ammunition and replaceable components.

Otherwise, just selecting some genuine Tomahawk cruise missiles or Asroc Anti-submarine Missiles, you wouldn't possibly get it for fifty million US Dollars; the budget would instantly exceed a hundred million US Dollars.
