America: Starting with Daily Intelligence

Chapter 248: Terrible As Such

He took the car keys from the young man and chatted with him for a while before Allen Zhang finally drove the flatbed truck out of the warehouse.

Once he reached the recycling station, he saw Gate and David had already arrived with the garbage truck and called for a tow truck, which was currently loading the damaged Cullinan onto the vehicle.

Allen Zhang asked about the tow truck's fee, which was 40 US Dollars per service and had already been paid, credited to Alfred's recycling station account.

"There are some recyclable electronics left in the station; you can haul them back for disposal. List them online for sale, sell these second-hand appliances cheap if someone buys, if not, sell it to a recycling company," instructed Allen Zhang.

"Don't worry, boss, we guarantee to clean it up thoroughly," David rolled up his sleeves and ran into the recycling station to start cleaning, moving the appliances onto the garbage truck. He then discovered several bags of leaves.

Intelligent David quickly packed the leaves and stuffed them into his waistband, planning to distribute them on the streets when he had time.

"Don't sell this on our turf!" Allen Zhang noticed his bulging waistpack, realizing he had found the owner-discarded leaves worth a couple hundred dollars, and warned.

"Ok. Don't worry, boss, I know what to do," David nodded and decided to offload these goods to the gangsters on the streets.

Allen Zhang, seeing that they managed everything in order, sent Dominic a message, calling the tech-savvy Beggar Gang Disciples to the villa area, and he himself drove the flatbed truck to the road outside the Crown District.

After about ten minutes, people arrived; several Beggar Gang Disciples saw the flatbed and the General Sect Leader by the roadside and greeted him enthusiastically, calling him "Boss."

Allen Zhang got out of the vehicle, handed over the keys, and sent them the GPS coordinates.

"Take this drilling rig flatbed to Green Field Manor Ranch. Our people are there, and you will stay there to manage and maintain the operations. Once the drilling permit is secured, you can start drilling by tomorrow at the latest," said Allen Zhang.

"Ok, boss, leave it to us," the Beggar Gang Disciples took the keys, boarded the vehicle, started it, and left the streets heading to the countryside town.

Allen Zhang also sent a message to Old Karl, inquiring if his mining permit had been processed and whether he had rented a drilling rig from any company.

Old Karl: The accreditation is still being processed; I've applied several days ago. Their efficiency is typically low, and I don't have connections in the relevant departments, it might still take five or six days. I plan to rent a drilling rig from Hulk Oil Company, with a basic maintenance rental fee of 2000 US Dollars a day, 100 US Dollars for drilling one meter underground. I only plan to drill about 500 meters deep in shallow zones, which will cost about 60,000 US Dollars. I've had the location checked, it's absolutely reliable!

Allen Zhang: I've already arranged the flatbed and manpower; if you need, just pay me 40,000 US Dollars, and my people can drill a well for you. How about that? There's no need to pay for the oil company's people.

Old Karl: ? How are you so quick? Did you buy a drilling rig directly? That thing must cost at least a million US Dollars?

Allen Zhang: That's correct, I managed to grab a drilling rig flatbed. I have the equipment and manpower, and it wasn't that expensive, just under six hundred thousand US Dollars. Just pay the fee, and I'll drill as many wells as you want. I've also contacted the head of underground resource mining to help secure the permit. If things go smoothly, we should be able to start drilling tomorrow.

Old Karl was absolutely stunned.

Old Karl: Buddy, you young people work too fast. Can you also talk to him to get my credentials sorted out too?

Allen Zhang: No problem.

Old Karl: Thank you so much! As a reward, I can connect you with people from the Dynamic Park. I have a friend who works there, and they plan to sell a batch of elks, musk deer, North American gray rabbits, sheep, and cattle soon. The cattle breeds are Angus, Hereford, Gelbvieh, Limousin, and Simmental. They have ten varieties of goats, adult sheep cost 200 US Dollars each, and lambs cost around 15-40 US Dollars; each sheep's annual profit is about 2000 US Dollars. Chicks are much cheaper.

Allen Zhang: I'm not planning on raising so many sheep and cattle at the moment, but if there are elk and North American gray rabbits, or Labrador Hunting Dogs, I might buy a batch.

Ranch farming is mainly for beef cattle; the breeds mentioned by Old Karl are hornless. Apart from professional breeding ranches, it's generally profitable to breed at least 150 heads of cattle at once. Although the profit per head isn't high, the sheer quantity makes it substantial, with hundreds of dollars in profit per head, raising ten thousand cattle would mean profits in the millions.

Old Karl: Ok, I can arrange the Labrador Hunting Dogs for you, I have a friend whose family runs a dog training base, and can give you a few since there's not much profit in it.

Old Karl: Elks and gray rabbits are available in the wild dynamic parks; one elk costs between 150-300 US Dollars depending on whether the deer is pregnant, and about a hundred US Dollars can buy dozens of gray rabbits. These creatures reproduce too rapidly; if left unattended in the forest, within a month that land could turn into a Rabbit Ridge. You better raise some coyotes, or go hunting often.
