Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Amelia Winston stared at the divorce papers she held in her hands, her eyes slowly scanning through the lines
Just then, her phone's screen lit up with an incoming call
" What did he say?" A raspy male voice demanded on the other end
" I haven't given it to him yet" Amelia replied, her voice firm
" Well, do that quickly, I can't wait anymore" the voice hissed with anger and impatience
Just then, the sound of her front door opening echoed through the room. " He's here," Amelia said, swiftly hanging up.
She straightened her posture, took a deep breath, and walked into the living room.
Luke, her soon-to-be ex-husband, had just entered, removing his shoes. His crisp suit was a stark contrast to his slightly disheveled blonde hair, evidence of a long day at work. As she approached, Luke stood up, his eyes meeting hers
" Hi, Luke," Amelia said, her tone detached, a hint of disgust flickering in her eyes.
" Hi, baby," Luke replied, leaning in to kiss her cheek. Amelia pulled back, her movement slight but deliberate.
She extended the divorce papers, her hand steady.
Luke's face fell off, his affectionate gaze giving way to confusion, as his eyes darted across the papers that Amelia held out.
" What is this?" Luke asked, his brow furrowed
" I need you to sign them," Amelia said, her gaze drifting away.
Luke softly grasped her face, his eyes pleading. " Baby, please look at me," he whispered, his voice trembling
The past months had been rough. Luke had lost control a few times and raised his hands against Amelia, but he had apologized profusely. Was that enough to end their marriage?
As Luke gazed into Amelia's eyes, he knew he had to make her understand. He had acted out of anger, but that was no excuse. His hands had risen against the person he loved most, and the memory of those moments haunted him.
He had apologized, begged for forgiveness, and worked tirelessly to regain her trust. But was it enough? Luke knew he'd broken Amelia's trust, shattered the safety she once felt with him. The thought of living without her was unbearable.
" Baby, I am sorry" he whispered, his voice trembling. " I know I've hurt you, but I promise to do better. I'll seek help, work on my temper, and never raise a hand against you again. Don't give up on us, on me. I love you more than anything."
Amelia opened her mouth to respond, but her phone's sudden ringing cut her off. She answered swiftly, turning away from Luke.
" How did it go?" The same raspy voice from earlier asked from the other end of the phone
" I am about to hand it to him" she replied, hanging the call immediately
" Luke–" she started but he cut her short
" You're cheating on me, aren't you? How long has it been going for?" Luke's voice cracked with anger and jealousy
Amelia laughed sarcastically " You dare ask me that? When all you've done during these two pathetic years of marriage is bed every woman you ever came across? "
She slammed the divorce papers on the table. " Just sign them, Luke. I'm done."
Luke's face reddened. " You're really doing this? You're leaving me?"
Amelia's expression turned cold. " I'm not leaving you because of your infidelities, Luke. I'm leaving you because I need my life back. I need to be single and I need you out of my life," she said, her voice firm
Luke's eyes widened. " You're doing this for yourself? Not because…of all the mistakes I've made?" He stammered
Amelia smiled softly, " You've made it clear what you value, Luke. Now it's my turn. Sign the papers." She said, walking away
She glanced at her watch – 6:30 PM. Thirty minutes to prepare for her night ahead.
" Why does he always have to make things so hard" she muttered to herself
Just then, two heavy hands grasped her waist, lifting her off the floor. Amelia's back thudded against the wall, her wrists pinned above her head. Luke's hot breath whispered against her neck, " I'm not gonna let anyone take you away from me."
Amelia's senses blurred as Luke's kisses trailed up her neck, sending shivers down her spine. His lips claimed hers, their tongues entwining in a passionate intensity as Luke's grip tightened. Her mind resisted, but her body betrayed her, melting into Luke's touch. She moaned, lost in the overwhelming pleasure, her body begging for more.
As if he had read her mind, Luke lifted her blouse, revealing her bare, hardened breasts. She wasn't wearing anything underneath. He fondled her breasts, his mouth closing around one nipple as his other hand slipped into her panties.
Amelia's intense response was all the encouragement Luke needed. Her body arched into his touch, silently urging him on. He knew her weakness and was determined to use it to his advantage. He couldn't lose her, not now
Amelia's instincts screamed to push him away, but her body betrayed her. She grasped Luke's head, fingers tangling in his hair, as his mouth teased her nipples and his fingers filled her, stroking her inner walls.
This wasn't the plan. She just wanted him to sign the divorce papers so that they could finally go their separate—
" Uhm–" she moaned, her protest dissolving into a whimper as he scooped her up with one arm, his fingers still buried within her.
He carried her into the bedroom, leaving the divorce papers behind.
The next minutes were filled with intense love-making, and the room echoed with their moans and scents of sweat-filled passion. Luke's thrust left Amelia breathless as her body trembled beneath his.
Finally, Luke collapsed onto the bed, his chest heaving, a triumphant grin spreading across his face.
" So, what do you say mi-lady?" He asked, turning to Amelia with an inquiring gaze
Amelia opened her mouth to speak, but Luke interrupted, confidence lacing his voice.
" You're never gonna get it like that anywhere else."
Propping himself up on one elbow, Luke looked down at Amelia, his eyes tenderly tracing the curve of her face.
" Do you still wanna go ahead with the divorce?" He asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Amelia's eyes locked onto Luke's " I am pregnant"
