Alternate Dimension Game: Happiness is all that matters!

Chapter 371 I Have a Secret Too_2

Number One Elder had an epiphany, realizing that with this walking stick in hand, he could enter that mysterious storage space whenever he wished.

The storage space wasn't just for stocking up on supplies; he could also hide in there to evade certain crises.

A space of 5 cubic meters, that wasn't small at all!

"Could this be the gift he gave you?" Number 24 raised an eyebrow and said, "The gifts he gives are truly extraordinary. Even a mere walking stick carries immense mysterious functions."

Another function of the walking stick was teleportation, capable of transporting the holder to the "Abyss World" or back to the "Game Training Camp." Of course, it required a full 300 units of energy to teleport just once, meaning one must stay in that world for a full 300 days.

"Great stuff! It seems he hasn't forgotten about me after all, even helping me realize a small wish." The old man beamed like a child, but immediately regained his composure, "Hurry up with the handover work!"

"After another 300 days, I'm going to make a run for it... You will be Number One of the Black-clothed Guard!"

The Planet Fortress was traveling through the stars at an extremely fast speed. In this twisted space, the light emitted by the stars stretched into long lines. Initially, Wang Hao was somewhat interested in viewing the scenery outside, but after barely an hour, he grew tired of it.

"When will we finally arrive, Xiao Ai? Could you at least reply?"

"At our current superluminal travel speed, it will take approximately 300 days to reach the Abyss World. If you feel there is nothing to do, you may go into hibernation. It will take but a moment, and you will arrive at your destination."

300 days?

Wang Hao was numb to this, but he didn't want to hibernate, pondering instead about projecting an image back to Earth to live his life.

However, having made such a grand departure, wouldn't it be inappropriate to return to Earth so soon?

At the very least, he should wait… maybe a week?

As Xiao Ai continued to explain, "The current state of the Planet Fortress is incomplete. There may be legacies from various human planes that, if gathered, could increase the spaceship's travel speed."

"Got it, got it."

Out of sheer boredom, Wang Hao began to torment Han Xiaoyue, the only other human on the planet.

"Xiaoyue, come give me a massage!"

"Xiaoyue, hurry up, I want a Coke! I want it cold, with some lemon."

"Xiaoyue, quick, I want KFC. Go buy me a meal from Earth, I'll project you down there. Oh, and today there's an RNG match…"

Wang Hao sat in the captain's chamber, commanding around, still living his past life of a homebody, his heart growing ever more joyful.

"Why do I have to be your beast of burden when I've finally shaken off the 'cousin' label!" Han Xiaoyue glared at him angrily, hitting his back with a bottle of Coke.

Wang Hao let out a weird "heh heh" laugh, feeling not pain but rather comfort.

"Actually, Xiaoyue, I have a secret I want to tell you," Wang Hao suddenly said calmly, "but it's a bit terrifying."

"I don't want to hear it, don't want to hear it!" As soon as she heard "terrifying," her head shook like a rattle drum.

"But this concerns you, you must hear it even if you don't want to!"

"What is it?"

"Something that will scare you to death!" Wang Hao grabbed her hand, smiling faintly.

In the blink of an eye, Han Xiaoyue lost consciousness, feeling herself sinking rapidly as if she were being sucked into a black hole. Atoms, molecules, space, and even time, they all seemed to be rapidly disintegrating, but a sliver of awareness was alert, yet gradually losing the ability to think.

She had entered the deepest layer of the Etheric Abyss.

This was an idealism domain dense with massive amounts of information, where indescribable colossal beings orbited one another, not in circular paths, but in irregular shapes.

Occasionally, two such beings collided, like neutron stars clashing, bursting into dazzling light, causing the core world to experience shocks and tremors!

However, from the perspective of an outsider, Han Xiaoyue found that she hadn't been greatly affected.

"This is a story that once happened," Wang Hao said with a smile, pointing in a particular direction, "Look over there."

"Is that... 'Her'?" Han Xiaoyue tilted her head and exclaimed in surprise.

The so-called Eternal, naturally, didn't take on a human form but appeared like a gigantic sphere of light, the rapid interactions of photons suggesting that 'She' was observing this mysterious world.

However, even for an Eternal, in this massive entity's domain of existence, it's still far too tiny.

Just like an amoeba under the foot of a Titan Giant.

The next second!

A beam of black light suddenly launched an attack!

"Stop!" Wang Hao softly spoke, and the entire scene immediately froze.

"Do you think 'She' could dodge this attack?"

Han Xiaoyue said somewhat dazedly, "There's no record of such an attack in the data, but... what exactly is going on?"

This dim light was so vast and terrifying that even from an outsider's perspective, it was clear 'She' couldn't escape this strike and would be instantly devoured.

At that moment, Wang Hao suddenly said, "From our current point of observation, 'She' is already dead. But I need 'Her' to be alive."

The scene began to play again, Wang Hao lightly tapped, and the black beam of light had already dissipated into nothingness.

What followed was a dense barrage of attacks, surpassing Han Xiaoyue's capacity to observe.

Every single second, attacks occurred, but oddly enough, all these attacks vanished en route.

Han Xiaoyue was bewildered; in her memory, there had never been this many attacks.

But now they were undeniably happening.

There were two reasons: first, her memory had been tampered with, or the segment of observation was a fabrication, but on second thought, this seemed unlikely. Wang Hao's expression was somewhat serious, and she had never seen her "Big Cousin" look so grave.

Second, Wang Hao was using the current history to intervene with the past!

The world's causal logic usually means cause precedes effect. Without a beginning, there is no end.

But the reality actually extends beyond human imagination; there are also situations where effect precedes cause. Take, for example, the double-slit experiment with light: when the detector is on, photons behave like particles; when it's off, they exhibit wave-like behavior. What does that mean? It means the photons not only know they're being observed, but they know before passing through the slits.

Take another example: humanity landed on the Moon, and Armstrong left the first footprint of humankind. According to conventional logic, humans launched a rocket, and then a footprint was made on the Moon.

But according to the logic of causal logic: the footprint on the Moon was destined to exist in the Time River; thus, humanity started the Cold War, built rockets, selected Armstrong, and everything else, merely to leave that damned footprint!

This logic is quite peculiar; humans find it difficult to understand this way of thinking of causal logic.

But following this manner of causal logic, the current Time River can indeed affect that part of the past.

These strange and unusual methods are called "Inversion."

Even the Prehistoric Civilization from extraterrestrial realms hasn't truly mastered 'Inversion', for the great sages of civilization once said, "As a human, I can only comprehend the world with human thought. Thus, time-space and causality exist. Otherwise, I shall be ignorant. And ignorance serves no good to the happiness of my life, nor to the meaning of life."

Now, Han Xiaoyue has witnessed this scene.

She couldn't help but look toward Wang Hao surrounding her.

"Big Cousin, what are you trying to do?"

"Could it be..."

Countless colossal entities, like swirling vortexes, bared their eerie eyes in the distant dark fog.

The uneven space was deeply tugged by the Idealist gravity of the Etheric Abyss. Or rather, everything was being pulled by this fundamental force.

Finally, 'She' had arrived at the deepest layer!
