Almighty Father System

Leo and his family were grateful to the mayor for his commendation and after a week of helping out in the village they came back when they found that the relief work was progressing at a good pace. Things were moving slowly but they were smooth. The government has decided to help the reconstruction by providing the raw materials at a lower price.

This was a reciprocation to what Leo has done by donating the earthquake resistant building technology to the nation. All these things were covered by the media all over the country and the value estimation of the Cardinal Group and the Butterfly Technology was climbing higher and higher among the people.

Leo and his family landed in the Angkor City and they were quickly surrounded by the people of the media and the cityfolk who caught the news and gathered up outside the airport. Lily held Leo's hand as she walked calmly beside him. The guards made up a parameter around Leo and Snow, while Lily walked in the center.

Lily looked around and Leo crouched down to put on his sunglasses on her face. The media cameramen were all snapping pictures in a flurry and this was not something that Leo liked. His aura had already turned cold the moment he stepped out of the doors. After all, what were these vanity chasing fuckers thinking? How dare they stress the eyes of his beloved daughter?

Leo turned to look at the people and his sight alone caused them all to falter a little. Snow smiled and said, "Love, you do know that PR is important?"

Leo snorted and said, "They can send the questions they want to be answered back at the office, and communicate in a written conversation. Mindless fools."

Only they could hear themselves, and then they got in the car to ride back home. They all needed some nice showers and a full day of rest to reset their brains.

The crowd applauded them and cheered for them as they go in the cars, and before entering Lily waved her hands at the camera and made a peace sign pose. Leo sighed and shook his head while Snow erupted in laughter at the antics of her daughter.

When they got home, they all showered and slept in one bed. Leo and Snow knew that Lily might have some effect from all the things she saw in the Gua Village and they wished to make her forget the negativity by their embrace.

While the Cardinal Family's fame was rising like the sun, Primal family and Luger family were done with their big deals, and now they were about to start the war once again. However, instead of bloodshed, Matilda Luger looked towards a rather beneficial method. She was going to move in with the power of money, and that would be by supporting the biggest competitor of the Tyrant Group, the rising Cardinal Group.

Matilda has been trying to get an appointment with Leo Cardinal, but the answer had been no. She thought it was just a simple rejection because of how he was visited and investigated by Kastya, but she didn't understand why he was refusing all that he stood to gain from this.

It has been brought to her knowledge that Leo had come back to the city, and so, she waited for two days, before calling his office to fix an appointment. The call was forwarded to June's desk, who was tired of refusing and said, "Hold on, I will connect you to my Boss, and he will deal with you directly."

She placed the phone receiver on the side and went to inform Leo.

Leo was reading a few news articles on the computer and at comparing them with the info that he received from Simone. It was true that Matilda Luger had come over to the Angkor City in person. June knocked on the door and Leo said, "Come in."

June peeked inside and said, "The Luger groups representative is calling again. Can you please tell them not to harass us like this?"

Leo smiled and nodded, June was a docile character, but even she had reached the limits of what could be tolerated. So, he had to intervene and play the role of a good boss. The call was patched through, and Leo picked it up quickly, as he said, "Hello, Leo Cardinal speaking, who might I be talking to?"

The other side a woman replied, "I am Matilda Luger, it is really hard to get a hold of you, Mister Cardinal."

Leo replied, "Well indeed, so what can I help you with, Miss Luger?"

Matilda replied calmly, "We wish to invest money in your company…"

Leo didn't let her finish and asked, "Did I ask you to invest money? Or do you mean that I should allow you to invest and take over the share percentage, because you said so? Who do you think you are?"

Matilda had never been talked back in such a manner and she was ferocious, "Do you know who you are talking to?"

Leo smiled and replied, "I know, you are Matilda Luger, one of the experts from the Luger family, and the third in commandment for the Luger family and the fact that you have come to a foreign nation in person, I am sure that you wish to give the Primal family a run for their money but I am not interested in getting involved in the war that you two are waging against each other."

Matilda Luger had never taken rejection very kindly and asked, "Do you know what I can do to make you suffer? You will lose everything that you have worked so hard for. This is the last chance, join me and you will avenge the death of your parents."

Leo pretended to be stupid and said, "I have avenged them. My uncle was the one behind all those things, and right now he is in prison. Miss Luger, with all due respect, I know that you are a strong person, but your war is for the strong also. I wouldn't be able to stand tall at the ened of it because your reputation and tactics will put me in the cross-hair."

Matilda Luger was stunned, in all these years of her life, this was the first time that someone was refusing the proposal to join hands with her. She clenched her fist and said, "Good, I will see how you can live in peace from now on."

The call was disconnected, and Leo thought for a moment before he called Socrate Primal, the call was connected quickly and Leo used his identity as Death Gaze, and he said, "I have some information for you, do you want to buy it?"

Socrate frowned and asked, "What information might that be?"

Leo replied, "The reason why Matilda Luger has entered the Clover Nation of course, you are aware of her arrival, aren't you, Romeo?"

Socrate furrowed his brows and asked, "What is the information?"

Leo replied, "One Million Yuan. To the same account as last time."

Socrate sighed and used his computer to send out the money, then he asked, "What information do you have?"

Leo smiled and replied, "She has come in person to gain allies to counter you. She approached the Cardinal Group, but the young President turned her down rather brutally."

Socrate gulped and said, "This young man sure has the guts of his father. Anyway, what is Matilda upto? I have tried to look out for her, but that woman."

Leo replied, "Wait a minute."

Then he went on to use the dark web and looked for the mobile that was used to call him. After a few minutes, he located the device and then said, "She is living in the Carol Park, building one. That whole things is her mansion."

Socrate was shocked, and asked, "Give me the location."

Leo shrugged and sent the location as he said, "Tell your ex-wife, not to try and throw her weight around. Leo Cardinal was willing to put out a killing order on her worth a hundred million yuan. I stopped him because I have worked for him in the past."

Socrate frowned and asked, "Can you…"

Leo replied, "Do you have a death wish? That man is a share holder in the Pinnacle Security company. The entire city would be raided by a platoon of elite guards. Don't push a sleeping beast when he is sleeping silently."

Socrate would be lying if he said that he wasn't intimidated. Having shares in the Pinnacle Security company, meant Leo had a private army. He sighed and replied, "Fine, thanks."

The call was disconnected and then Socrate decided to travel, he needed to meet his old flame.

It was evening, and Matilda was pacing around the room, when suddenly the doorbell rang. She frowned and looked around only to realize that the servants have gone off duty. She sighed and went to open the door by herself and the moment she saw the person standing on the other side, her eyes opened wide, and asked, "What the fuck are you doing here?"

Socrates didn't hold back but he pounced on Matilda and entered a kiss.
