Almighty Father System

Leo landed in a small country called Sumeria. He came out of the terminal and found Yelena Jones waiting for him. Beside her there was a sports car. She greeted Leo, and the latter nodded that she was wearing a black glove to cover her right palm. He nodded and asked, "How are you doing?"

Yelena understood what he was asking about and said, "It is good, the limb has become a part of me now. I can control it freely, and the power it produces in some scenarios is similar to my left arm."

Leo nodded and asked, "Where is the contact?"

On the flight he just spent his time inside the virtual realm and he fought monsters and zombies. He just wanted to destroy the world and only those fictional scenarios were good enough for mindless massacre. This was why his state of mind was calm and indifferent at the moment.

Yelena replied, "Fifty kilometers away. He operates a bar called the Hilltop Cafe. It is a luxury bar, and doesn't have many people visiting it daily. It is a good place to meet."

Leo nodded, and then he said, "Kyle, I am going ahead, you can follow slowly."

Kyle wanted to say something but then he nodded and watched Leo enter the sports car. Yelena sat in the passenger seat and Leo drove away. Kyle's partner asked, "Captain, is it okay?"

Kyle sighed and replied, "Dude, I wouldn't mess with him for the next twenty four hours. He is not in a good mood."

Leo exited the airport terminal and he pressed the pedal to the floor. The car shot through the roads like it was a bullet. Yelena was shocked, in her research about Leo Cardinal, she has found that he could drive a 1F car, but this was something entirely different. She didn't expect him to be so skilled.

They were driving through the city and he wasn't hindered by anything. Though he did stop for the signals, he was in total control. Yelena said, "Sir, the place is situated uphill."

Leo only nodded and then he began to handle the car with one hand. The other hand moved to the power breaks. Yelena was confused but then she realized that the young man was going to start drifting uphill. She almost let out a scream when he made the first turn as they ran along a rising slope.

However, initially she was fine but as the vehicle reached a higher altitude, Yelena began to feel her heartbeat increase. Leo was really grinding the entire thing.

While Leo was climbing the hill, Lily was sitting inside her room, doing some homework. Anastasia was sitting on the bed beside her and she asked, "Lily, my princess, can you please forgive your mother? She realizes that she did wrong."

Lily closed her notebook and said, "Grandma, I don't blame her for her reaction. She was just worried for me, and the rage generated because she loves Baba. However, while my stupidity caused him to bow and apologize, Ma caused him to cry and go away in the name of work. I am not angry at Ma, I love her, but I cannot help but feel guilty. She did it because I was bad, no?"

Anastasia shook her head and replied, "When your Ma had nobody, your Baba was her everything and he has always been there for her regardless of anything. So, when she learned that he had to apologize she felt bad, but she got really angry when she saw him defend you from your mistakes.

You three people love each other so much that you wouldn't mind giving up everything you have for the rest, but you forget that excess of everything is bad. So, love each other with all your being, but know where your love starts doing more harm than good."

Lily thought for a bit and nodded. She said, "I will apologize to Ma."

Anastasia shook her head and said, "You did nothing wrong in accepting your mistake and pointing out her flaw. My love, you are the wisest among the rest of the people in this house. So, what you need to do is, go meet that daughter of mine and tell her to not take her name as a literal character property, acting cold all the time."

Lily giggled and said, "I wonder if one day Ma would catch cold."

Anastasia was stunned and then she chuckled. The elder managed to bring calm back to the little girl.

Leo reached the top of the hill where a luxurious property stood. He looked at Yelena who had a pale face, and as soon as she got out of the car. She kneeled over and emptied the content of her stomach, and gasped for breath. After a few minutes, she said, "Sir, were you planning to kill me?"

Leo sighed and said, "Shall we go in? I want to be done with this."

Yelena sensed that something was wrong with him the moment she had called him, and she could tell from the expression Kyle had at the airport that Leo was disturbed by something but she knew that it was not her station. She sighed and stood up as she walked forward.

Leo didn't pay attention to the luxurious decoration, Yelena said, "Sir, have a seat, I will bring the guy over."

Leo sat down on a chair next to one of the big windows and he began to look outside at the deep valley. A waiter came over and served him water and then asked, "Sir, what can I get you?"

Leo replied, "One shot of double espresso, no sugar."

The waiter nodded and left after bowing slightly. The young man kept sitting on the chair waiting in silence. However, the longer he waited the colder his gaze become. He disliked the people who wasted his time.

Just when his patience was running out, he heard a sound behind him. Yelena said, "Dante, it was you who wanted to meet my employer and not the other way around. If you disrespect people like this, you will die in this shit-hole."

Followed by this a sharp noise echoed in the surroundings, Leo turned around to find that the haggard looking young man had shattered a glass on the floor and his enraged gaze was looking at Yelena from behind the curtain of his golden hair.

Leo stood up from his seat and he asked, "Is she wrong?"

Yelena distanced herself from Dante and came to stand behind Leo, because she was taken aback by his sudden outburst. The young man stood up and his words drew Dante's attention.

The latter looked at Leo and smirked as he said, "You are being watched by that bitch at home, and you think you can mock me?"

Leo smiled and replied, "I am being watched because she considers me a threat for her son, and you have been leashed and put in a dog house because she thinks of you nothing more than a dog."

He never spared anyone when it came to sharp retorts. Dante clenched his fists and said, "Fuck off, the deal is off."

Leo chuckled as he walked closer to Dante. His gaze turned cold and he asked, "Do you think that I am your father who would pamper you because of your tantrums? Do you think that just because you are ex-communicated by your family and have some information about them you can take a piss over my head?"

As he finished speaking, he was just a few meters away from Dante, and then before anyone could react, he reached out and grabbed Dante by his neck. Leo was so strong that he lifted the young man two feet high in the air by holding his neck. Dante began to feel suffocated in the next moment and his legs flailed in the void as he tried to break Leo's grip but he was simply powerless.

Leo waited for a few seconds, Dante's face turned blood red before Leo threw him on the floor. The latter was sprawled on the ground as he tried to suck as much air as he could. It took him several minutes to calm down and Leo looked at him as he said, "I want the information. I didn't come all the way here to entertain the delusion of a drunkard. You wanted to get back in a position of power, you need to work for it. I am not going to serve you anything on a platter, similar to how your family didn't give you anything just because you were born to them. Do we have an understanding?"

Dante looked at Leo as if he had seen a demon, and he nodded hurriedly. The way Leo had assaulted him made him sober up completely. Leo nodded and said, "Have a seat, and tell me what you know about Matilda Luger."

Dante recollected his thoughts as he stood up with the help of a waiter and came to sit down before Leo. He took a deep breath and gulped a few times before he said, "Matilda Luger is my younger aunt, and I can tell you one thing for sure. She is a bitch, she will abandon anyone and everyone if it becomes a danger to her position in the family. All those years ago, she was fooled by that Primal, and she gave birth to that bastard, however, she gave that guy up to his father who basically accepted him because Matilda gave him some benefits. They were both molded by the same shit…."
