Chapter 219: Chapter 219
Tsunade was at a complete loss for words for her luck.
One in one-thousandth chance! Such a low probability. Even the special prize drawn by Ryan should have a higher probability than this, right?
At this point, she couldn't decide whether her luck was incredibly bad or just... cursed. On one hand, it was incredibly unlucky to draw something with such a slim chance. But on the other hand, this was far from a "good" prize to begin with.
Everyone fell into an awkward silence, unsure of what to say. They couldn't exactly comfort her, especially when she was the one who had drawn the reward herself. Ryan, observing Tsunade's poor luck with gambling, figured the lottery couldn't possibly treat her any better.
Tsunade remained quiet for a long moment, before finally coming to terms with her situation.
"Never mind..." she sighed, shaking her head. "My lottery luck may be terrible, but at least I've am in the top-three once. Those points should still get me something decent."
Tobirama, always pragmatic, crossed his arms and spoke up. "Luck is always fickle, Tsunade. But you're a Senju. We've always had to fight against the odds. It's nothing new."
He looked over at Tobirama, a twinkle in his eye. "Besides, our family's bad luck has always made us stronger, hasn't it?"
Madara, leaning against a pillar with his usual smirk, chimed in with a sarcastic tone, "You know, for a clan that's supposedly one of the strongest, you guys do have the worst luck. First, the Senju are cursed with constant strife, and now even your lottery draws are cursed. Maybe it's not bad luck after all—maybe it's just who you are."
Tsunade shot him a sharp glance, but there was a hint of a smile in the corners of her mouth. Despite herself, she appreciated the consolation in Uchiha way.
"As for this ordinary Sharingan..." Tsunade muttered after thinking for a while, before sending it back to the mall. "I'll recycle it for points. No use holding onto it. Back in the day, when I didn't have any real enhancements, it might have been useful, but now..."
This Sharingan might have some effect, but at this point, Tsunade's strength had been steadily increasing, and she had access to a powerful system. Unless it was a Mangekyō Sharingan, this ordinary Sharingan was essentially useless to her.
Additionally, Tsunade wasn't of Uchiha blood, so she lacked the inherent talent to unlock the Sharingan's full potential. Even if she kept it, she wouldn't be able to evolve it into a Mangekyō through her efforts.
So, it was clear: the only option was to recycle it. The others watched as Tsunade sent the prize back to the mall, and in exchange, the system gave her a pitiful few thousand points.
Tsunade was on the verge of tears. A thousand points! Wasn't that too little?
Compare it to the special prize Ryan had drawn, which was worth fifty million points. The difference was staggering—over ten thousand times more! Was there such a massive disparity in luck? Was this even reasonable?
Sighing heavily, Tsunade sank into a bout of frustration. At least she was Hokage, so the others didn't linger too long on the matter. They soon began browsing the mall, looking for useful items or abilities to enhance their strength.
By now, everyone had been through the other world at least three times, except for Naruto, who was the least experienced but had still participated in two other World missions. Each of them had collected some valuable items, and their points were more than enough to redeem some impressive abilities, props, or other upgrades.
Everyone was deep in thought as they browsed the mall. After a serious discussion, they each returned to their respective worlds. It had been a while since they had left, and now it was time to focus on strengthening their abilities.
In the Second Hokage Tobirama World,
Tobirama returned to his world and dove into organizing the next steps for technological advancement. He had been eagerly anticipating this moment for a long time. Among all the Hokage, he had the least interest in things like sweepstakes and redemptions, and, ironically, he was also the one who had gathered the most knowledge about technology.
Since his world was already unified, Tobirama could now devote his full attention to scientific progress. While in the One Punch Man world, he had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to dive into research.
During the three days he spent in the One Punch Man world, the others didn't gather much, but Tsunade, in particular, collected an impressive amount of game consoles. She was eager to enjoy them in her free time.
Tobirama, however, was different. His sense of responsibility was strong, and he didn't waste a single moment in those three days. He didn't even sleep, determined to collect enough scientific data. He spent his time visiting research institutes, libraries, and mechanical factories, gathering as much information as possible. The scrolls he collected filled half the table.
At this point, members of the Anbu team led by Uchiha Kagami entered the room, their expressions shifting from casual to astonished at the sight before them.
One of the younger members, a member of the Aburame clan, widened his eyes at the sheer density of the scrolls piled high on the table. "Master Tobirama! What are all these?" he exclaimed, taking a step closer. "Could they be the latest accident reports? Or perhaps new ninjutsu you've developed?"
Kagami, standing at the forefront with his arms crossed, leaned in slightly, intrigued by the assortment. "Knowing Tobirama-sensei, it could be anything from the latest breakthroughs in jutsu to some convoluted experiment gone wrong," he remarked with a hint of a smirk, the sarcasm evident in his tone.
Another member from the Nara clan added, scratching his head, "I can't believe there are so many scrolls. Do you ever take a break from all this research?"
Initially, everyone had been excited about Tobirama's new ninjutsu. However, as time went on, their enthusiasm dulled. It wasn't that the ninjutsu were subpar; rather, once the higher-ups in Konoha witnessed the overwhelming power of these techniques, they designated them as Forbidden Techniques. This decision meant that even members of Anbu were prohibited from learning them.
While there were some techniques not classified as Forbidden, the desire to learn them remained high. Unfortunately, those without talent found themselves unable to grasp even the simpler techniques, leading to feelings of frustration and envy. Each time they witnessed the incredible effects of Tobirama's ninjutsu, they could only express admiration while silently longing for the same power.
Watching Tobirama compile all these techniques into the Forbidden Technique scrolls was disheartening. However, they had recently noticed something intriguing: it seemed that their Second Hokage had developed a new passion for technology.
This shift in focus sparked even more interest among the group. After all, while they couldn't learn those powerful ninjutsu, technology offered a different avenue for advancement and excitement.
However, the scientific and technological advancements that everyone was discussing had the potential to improve life for everyone in the world. There were no barriers to accessing this knowledge. As a result, the group was particularly interested in technology.
When Tobirama heard their inquiries, he responded with his usual calm demeanor, though a hint of pride lingered in his voice. "It's nothing; these are all technologies I brought back from other worlds."
The members of his Anbu team stood frozen, their eyes wide in disbelief. "What?? So much technology? Is this for real?" Uchiha Kagami exclaimed, his gaze shifting from one scroll to the next, still trying to grasp the sheer volume of sealed scrolls that filled most of the table. It was staggering. They could barely fathom how many there were.
The Aburame clan member looked at the scrolls in awe, his curiosity piqued. "Wait, other worlds? Are you telling us you've been to different worlds, and these technologies are from there?"
Tobirama's gaze shifted toward the group, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly. "Yes, that's exactly it. Using an advanced form of my Flying Thunder God Jutsu, I've been able to travel to various other worlds. These technologies are the result of my travels—innovations far beyond what we've ever seen in our world."
At this revelation, the Anbu team collectively stepped back, the weight of his words sinking in. For the Uchiha clan, known for their secretive nature and rich history, the idea of someone being able to travel between worlds was almost beyond comprehension.
Kagami furrowed his brow, his sarcasm dropping for a moment. "Flying Thunder God Jutsu... taken to a whole new level. I guess we should've expected nothing less from you, sensei."
Tobirama nodded with satisfaction, his usual serious expression softening just a little. "It's something I've been working on for a long time. But beyond jutsu, these scrolls contain a wealth of knowledge—technologies that could potentially revolutionize the way we approach ninjutsu, and even change the future of the Hidden Leaf."
The Nara clan member, always the pragmatic one, raised an eyebrow. "You've brought back so much... and you want to show us how it works?"
"Exactly," Tobirama replied with enthusiasm. "Now that you're all here, let's go to the training grounds and see how effective these advancements truly are. They aren't just theoretical—they can be applied, and they will improve the capabilities of everyone in Konoha."
Kagami exchanged a glance with the others, a mixture of awe and skepticism on their faces. "Well, this I have to see."
At his words, everyone perked up with excitement and followed Tobirama to the training ground in Konoha. There was a large concrete clearing there, ample enough to showcase a variety of technological products. Tobirama sifted through the scrolls he had brought and pulled out one, ready to demonstrate its capabilities.
