Alchemist from Another World

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Heart Words

The old man disappeared without warning, just as suddenly as he appeared. Dr. Ebert looked at the direction he disappeared, full of doubts and uneasiness.

"Who is he? Why is he here? He knows this statue. Could he also be from the legendary ancient Indian civilization?"

Dr. Ebert's mind was full of various questions, but he could not find any answers.

He looked down at the statue in his hand. The statue still emitted a faint glow, as if silently comforting him.

"What do you want to tell me?" Dr. Ebert murmured to the statue, "Can you tell me how I can return to my own world?"

The statue still did not answer him, but just quietly emitted light.

Dr. Ebert sighed. He knew that it was unrealistic to expect a statue to give him an answer. He had to rely on his own strength to find the truth and find his way home.

He looked around, the dense forest, towering trees, strange plants, and various unknown creatures formed a strange and beautiful picture.

As he walked, Dr. Ebert suddenly remembered that the old man just now, although he spoke a language he couldn't understand, he could understand what the other party meant.

"What's going on?" Dr. Ebert was full of doubts, "Could it be that I was born to understand this language? Or is it this statue that gives me this ability?"

He took out the statue again and observed it carefully.

The statue has a strange shape, like a human but not a human, and its eyes still emit a faint light, as if it is looking at Dr. Ebert and wants to convey some information to him.

Dr. Ebert suddenly felt a warm energy flowing out of the statue and into his body.

This energy made him feel extremely comfortable and relaxed, as if all his fatigue and anxiety were swept away.

At the same time, many unfamiliar memories and knowledge suddenly emerged in Dr. Ebert's mind.

These memories and knowledge were so clear and real, as if he had experienced them personally.

He saw an ancient and mysterious civilization, where people had highly developed technology and culture. They could control the power of nature and create all kinds of incredible miracles.

He also saw that the civilization eventually went to destruction, and the reason for the destruction was actually...
