Akashi Uzumaki

"Is the investigation finally over?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked seated on his comfy seat.

A week had passed since the fight that occurred in the forest of death between Akashi and Hiruko.

A joint investigation of the Anbu and Root was made, even though the two groups avoided interfering with each other in special cases they put their differences aside for the good of the village.

"Yes, it is Master Hokage," Sakumo Hatake the white fang and actual head of the Anbu said putting a stack of the documents in front of Hiruzen, his three students, and the advisors.

Everyone took a quick look at the papers while Sakumo gave a briefing of what he had found after their investigation.

"So even after a week of investigation, you couldn't find out what Hiruko was doing in that underground laboratory of his,"

Koharu said with a deep frown on her face, deception could be heard in her tone.

"We know what he was doing!" Homura contradicted her

"We have multiple hypotheses, he was researching forbidden techniques, we just don't know what kind of technique exactly he was researching," 

"Even with all our resources!?"

While she complained Orochimaru who was one of the investigators pointed to one of the pages where his and others' hypotheses had been noted.

"I guess my hypothesis is the most likely, he was creating his own summon,"

"Are you sure!?"

"What do you mean a summon?!"

"Exactly what I said,"

He pointed out many instances in his memory and in the rapport showing that HIruko had joked about being jealous of the sannins summons beasts while talking he looked at his two partners and he could see that they too had experiences like that with Hiruko.

"it would explain those stranged charred creatures in the lab, we thought that it was unknown creatures of the world."

"Yes they were more likely the initial results from some kind of crude combination of many creatures found in the forest," Orochimaru said 

"It would also explain why the creatures of the forest of death seemed to lose their mind when they get near that place."

Everyone pondered for a few seconds the hypotheses of Orochimaru.

While it was happening Orochimaru and Danzo both looked at the photographs with desires in their eyes.

"So you think that he was trying to create a summon,"

"This is only a hypothesis, but yes."

They continued discussing this hypothesis and a few others for a while.

"What about the humans remains that were found there, do we know what he was doing with them and where they come from? Is it another experiment?"

 At that point, Tsunade's voice rang out.

"He was studying the bloodline powers of Konoha ninjas," she said with calm but anyone hearing her could feel the anger in her voice.

"Are you sure,"

"I ended all the examination on the corpses found, even though I can determine what research he did due to the damage, but I confirmed that most of them came from the village."

Everyone's anger was ignited by her statement as Tsunade explained how she identified them.

She pointed at a few photos and explained "This, this one and this, that particular deformation and this scare on this bone too, I recognized them because I am the one that fixed them.

A jonin of the Akimichi clan named Iroyami, dead and buried in the cemetery of their clan, this is from Miku Kurama who disappeared during the last war, this one belongs to a civilian without bloodline power.

This is all I manage to find the remaining bodies are unrecognizable even for me."

Once she was done the already gloomy atmosphere became eery silent, the anger of all those formidable ninjas had reached its peak and all they wanted was to tear Hiruko apart after realizing how deep Hiruko's betrayal went.

"Send news to the clans, have them make their own investigation, while we take care of the civilians." 

"Understood!"

"How did he fool everyone, how come none of us realized anything? Not his comrades, not his superiors, and not even me. I can't believe that we found it out only because of the creatures of the forest of death,"

Danzo said with a gloomy expression, as the self-proclaimed shadow of Konoha he couldn't accept that something like that was happening under his nose without him catching a sniff of it.

"He cannot be let roam free! We have to find him and make an example out of him,"

Even though they don't often agree with Danzo this time everyone nodded with sour expressions,

"Hiruko's can be considered as the biggest traitors since the founding of the village, killing his fellow comrades, desecrating the bodies of our heroes, on the creatures of the forest of death, I'm offering five hundred million for his ...Elimination,"

This amount is the highest ever placed on a deserter's head since the village's creation.

Soon all the villages and underworld markets had the picture of Hituko the deserted with the highest bounty of Konoha, but of course, part of what he did was covered but they put enough to entice enough hunters.

In the Uzumaki compound, Akashi and a few clones wearing white coats were standing in his lab next to his room.

The walls were marked with seals protecting the room from unwanted eyes.

The old Kuroko was seated in a seiza position not far away coordinating the sale of sealing tags in the village from time to time his eyes landed on Akashi engrossed in his studies before returning to his work.

After a long time, Akashi lifted his smile brightly.

"It's finally over!" He said putting a vial on the table before stretching himself as his joint made a few cracking sounds.

"Argh, my joint, I feel like an old man,"

He just said that when he felt a hot gaze on him.

"Hehe." He laughed nervously as Kuroko moved to stand beside him.

"So this is what took you a week to do."

The old man said taking the vial containing a blue liquid in his hand nonchalantly, but after examination, a look of surprise appeared on his face.

"Impressive, you created your own chakra ink, using Hiruko's as reference."

"Not just his," Akashi replied taking out a scroll containing the formula for the standard Uzumaki chakra ink with his notes and modifications.

The old man smiled in satisfaction.

"Your own chakra ink formula, and you made a permanent one on the first try. I was twenty-five years old when I created mine. Your uncle did it when he was twenty, your mother when she was eighteen, she will be very proud when she ear that,"

Hearing that Akashi was a little stunned, he had learned a long time that contrary to what he saw in the original work Minato's indelible chakra ink was not so uncommon in the clan Uzumaki, he even speculated that he learned to create that from Kushina.

What surprised him was that from Kuroko's tone, each powerful Uzumaki seemed to have their formula.

Letting out a sigh Akashi calmed his mind "This one is special," 

Taking a scroll out of his sleeve he opened it and his broken golden chain was stained with a blue big patch.

Opening the vial, he poured it entirely on the chains under the old man's stunned gaze, and they soon saw the chain turn completely blue.

While the old man wondered what Akashi had in mind, Sneakyl, who was barely the size of his arm, emerged from Akashi's palm using their special link.

"No wonder you wanted Orochimaru to be your teacher, you have similar ideas to that snake,"

In an instant, the little snake started to grow at a noticeable speed and soon he reached a good size for what Akashi wanted.

"I still hear the disagreement in your voice, I listened to you and established and partnership with him,"

"Of course, even though he is a genius you can't establish a teacher-student relationship with anyone,"

"Even if he is very likely to betray Konoha in the future as per my 'prophecy'," he said 

"Particularly then Konoha is our best ally even if they betrayed us before they are still much more reliable than all the others,"

"Noted old man!" He replied with a cheekiness that his young age allowed him before turning toward his snaked who was busy swallowing up the chain on the table.

"Shouldn't you stop him," Kuroko asked but in response Akashi just smiled

"Why!? He is doing what I called him for,"

After all the chains were completely swallowed Snaekyl started to share back to its previous size before retreating into Akashi's body.

"Give me five minutes,"

Under the eyes of Kuroko, he closed his eyes and meditated for a few minutes.

"Alright, let's do that!" Akashi said somewhat excited as he opened his eyes. 

The old man was as Akashi removed the cloak of a big cage that he had prepared a while ago, inside were a few herbivores animals of different species peacefully eating and sleeping. 

The eyes old the old man intensified as he tried to understand what Akashi was about to do.

Under the eyes of the old man, a little chain extended from Akashi's index finger toward the cage.

When Kuroko thought that it was going to touch one of the beasts it fell on the ground and in an instant a strange blue seal appeared on the ground in the cage.

"Roar, Argh!!" in an instant it was like a bomb had exploded in that cage, all the beasts were woken up, and they all seemed to have gone crazy soon under the stunned gaze of the old man they started to tear each other apart.

"Woah!" Kuroko exclaimed surprised 

Soon under their eyes, those peaceful animals killed each other and even hurt themselves until no one was left in the cage.

"What did those poor animals do to you!? That's cruel kid!"

"What!" Akashi seemed genuinely confused for a moment 

'Old man you had no trouble when I killed people in front of you but animals are where it draws a line,'

Letting out a sigh he explained 

"This is for ninjas using animals or chakra creatures to fight, like the Aburame, Inuzuka, and other summon, I am thinking of using it to confuse them at least, and even if that doesn't work, if that indelible mark is placed on you you will become a target of all animal nearby," 

This is impressive Kuroko said patting Akashi on the shoulder before walking toward the dead animals.

"You never cease to amaze me,"

"What are you doing? Are you going to bury them?"

Akashi asked when he saw Kuroko take the corpses in scrolls

"Buried them! What a strange idea, I'm going to eat them."

'Of course, what was I expected of Uzumaki!' Akashi though 

'I wonder how he is going to cook them.'
