Agnisotra: Origin Tails

Vol 2 Ch 22: Cinnamon Swirl canteen

This floor was very strange. Besides the floors being quite bright and there not being much light above a certain height, the prisons looked like a wall you can take snacks out. It was something that seemed to be quite popular lately in Ainahs where they had snack bars and they had this wall with compartments that were heated and if you dropped some bronze in the wall, you could pull a warm snack out of the wall. But this was with prisoners. They didn't seem to have a lot of privacy because the cell doors seemed to be made out of glass. They seemed to have some private corner which I assume is their toilet. The vortex we got out of kept going. It seemed that this would stay like this as long as Geminga is on the lower floors. I left Ignis behind in the magma vortex with the order to harass anyone that tried to go up. I decided to make a [time ring] for him too.

The constant drain on my mana was quite noticeable now. I might have to stay on this floor to make sure this doesn't get to a point where I can’t handle it. I followed the prisoners and Geminga and he seemed to be giving them a tour. There were various food stands. Most of them were selling pastries. These tough-looking inmates were making pastries and baking bread. I’m not sure if that Casi has a good sense of humor or is extremely cruel.

“In 10 minutes, it's time for ev’ryone to get out, y’all will have some time to get and prepare supplies. Those that have been ‘ere for a while will start producing baked goods and pastries for the 5-day reset, for ye newbies, y’all will follow Casi’s baking workshops. The faster y’all learn the craft the bet’r, take too long and y’all will end up as one of ‘er ingredients bwahahaha!” The inmates seemed shocked and I don’t blame them. Geminga explained the house rules which didn't seem to be anything special.

“At 12:00 the Cinnamon Swirl canteen opens! This lay’r ain't big so make sure to pay it a visit if y’all like good food, It isn't run by Casi ‘erself but it is by guards and inmates she handpicked. She can cook but pref’rs baking.“ A canteen?! I can’t miss this! I wonder what food they have. For research purposes of course! I think this is the best layer. I just have to avoid that Casi.

I wonder if Ted and Gregory should know about this, I’m sure they are going to be party poopers. Geminga said that layers 4,3,2 and 1 were dependent on each other because they were so deep in and that the food produced by the canteen will get shared with layers 3,2 and 1 because they don't produce food. Hmm, wait does that mean I can paralyze all the layers if I sabotage the food? I got poison from Gregory.

Hmm, I’m not that naïve to think we can get Raishin and escape without anyone noticing. I think it’s time to do some groundwork. In this case, I probably need to warn Ted and Gregory. I sent them my plan through my clone and Gregory suggested a certain mixture of 2 poisons. They will act slowly and have staggered effects between individuals so it might be hard to trace it back to lunchtime. Perfect! Ted said something stupid about making sure I don’t kill anyone but that’s too much to ask. The inmates got out of their cells and started to buy supplies. I didn't see any candy stores; I also didn't spot any androids. Is this a good or bad thing?

The guards that I did spot seemed to be way stronger than those on higher layers. It was quite boring to observe the inmates. They were moving very slowly. Only the main plaza on the sector canceled out the time dilation and it was quite well-lit. Light seemed to behave strangely here as if it was a heavy gas, they seemed to have solved this problem by just dumping a lot of light from a height on the plaza and it seemed to slowly flow into the corridors. How odd. Is this how light behaves this close to a black hole? I saw Geminga walking in the distance. I still had to figure out how he can move at normal speed. I upped my stealth and started tailing him. He might show me how to go to the next floor. He bought some pastries and headed over to section 1 in the north wing. And there… he took the elevator down… there was just a row of easy-to-spot elevators here… well that was anticlimactic and easy. I dispelled all my active clones besides the one that I left behind at the electronium powerplant and the one that was with Ted and Gregory. I needed to conserve mana so just 2 active clones will do.

I needed to kill time before it was lunchtime. I mean time to sabotage. Maybe I should go and find it now. It was almost 11:00 and my clone escorted Gregory and Ted to the elevators by hiding them in illusions. I told them that the clone will only be able to follow them in the next layer, the mana consumption would get too much for me if it also went to layer 2. They took the elevator down as I headed for the canteen. I say that but I have no idea where it is. I felt the drain on my mana spike and I regret sending my clone down. Nothing I can do against it now.

Starbolt tried to share some spirit energy but I refused. I asked if he could boost my speed. I felt invigorated and moved around at a speed unfamiliar to me. It was almost as fast as the fastest I've ever gone in the past. It took me no time to get used to it and I found the canteen after looking for 20 minutes. There was no mistaken, this was it, it smelled like cinnamon and had a huge swirl on the building. It seemed that this building was free from time dilation and gravity. I disguised myself as a guard and stepped inside. I expected more cinnamon smell but I could identify smells of different types of food. I looked around, it was empty but I could see people frantically working behind the counter. This canteen was quite spacious and had some devices that I guess are for entertainment purposes.

“Oh, there you are Damian!” A short chunky man in a white outfit and a chef’s hat approached me. “You’re late! We already started preparing for the lunch rush!” Oh, I’m sorry this time dilation got to me.

“Understandable, happens to all the newcomers, come and show us why you got a special accolade from Cassiopeia!” Hoo boi, they think I’m some prodigy chef. I can cook but I don’t think I’m anything special. “What is your specialty?” Hmm, maybe this isn’t so bad after all. Fish is my specialty. I’m not bluffing I might be mediocre at best in cooking but if it has to do with fish, I think I could call myself a specialist.

Show me the kitchen. I looked around and it seemed like a basic kitchen with some extras here and there.

I don’t know how things are run here, I could use water magic back there, can I do that here?

“Uh only the top chefs are allowed to use magic and only if it's water or fire element but I think we could make an exception for you!” Perfect! I had to pretend; I have no idea how things are getting run over here to not make a dumb mistake. I’m confident in my ability to cook fish to perfection because of my fire affinity. 3 people carried a huge fish out of the walk-in freezer and lifted it onto a big counter.

Oh, look at that beauty!

“Give us a moment and we will cut it up for you.” No need. I opened the tap and collected water around me.

I need 3 buckets, half filled with salt in here. The same 3 men obeyed, filled 3 buckets with salt, and threw it in the water that I collected around myself.

Step back. They stepped back and I made sharp blades out of the salt water and moved them around and cut the fish. I also made hands made out of water that would hold up the fish. I skinned the fish and cleaned it with the salt water. The grimy, oily parts and those that had the organs got crushed in the water, frozen into small balls, and dropped into those in one of the buckets, keeping the water clean. I separated bone from the flesh with precision and dropped these in another bucket.

4 small water hands were going through the completely filleted fish to pick out any small fishbones I missed. And then cut the fish into sizes that were easy to work with. While I was doing that, I went through all the spices the kitchen had. I pinched off several balls of salt water and chucked the spices I fancied into them. I made sure each of the 5 water balls I had floating next to me had a different mix of spices.

Everyone here was looking at me awestruck as if they never saw anyone prepare fish. I fancied some sushi so the fillets I cut out of the back would stay like this, it was already lightly salted so I created an extra water ball and threw rice vinegar in it, and slowly pulled out water to make sure the vinegar replaced the water. I ordered some chef to prepare rice how I want it for the sushi. For some fillets that were close to the tail, I would make soup. I don’t like soup but I assume others do. I dropped the fillets meant for soup into one of the water balls that held blends of spice and made the water ball boil.

After this water ball is finished boiling catch its contents in a pot, you can make a soup out of this. I don’t know how you guys make your soup nor is it my specialty but I provided a base. I would bake the parts that belong to the belly so I merged another waterball holding blends of spices with the water that was holding the fillets from the belly of the fish. I slowly removed water from it so that the concentration of spices got higher and higher until there was hardly any water left and all the fillets were covered with spices. I picked them up with hands made of salty water and filled a tray with oil and placed them in the tray. I covered the pieces with a layer of oil. My method is baking and frying them at the same time. I told some other chefs to check on it so it doesn't burn. I did similar things to the other parts of the fillets. I merged the water balls holding spices with them and made them suitable for their method of preparation and let the staff here take care of it to add their own touch. I did the sushi myself though.

“This is fascinating! So fast and efficient! I never saw someone prepare fish this fast!” Don’t thank me yet, we don’t know if it tastes good or bad. And I would warn you, I only got the accolade for being great with fish, I’m just a mediocre chef if it comes to anything else.

“Oh! Don’t worry about that! With these skills, I can hardly imagine the fish tasting bad!” I saw a chef who was frying the fish the way I instructed him to taste a piece of the first batch that he made and called over others to taste. They seemed to love it.

“Damian! This is the best fish I’ve ever had!”

”Yeah, I’m not a big fan of fish but you convinced me!” The chunky chef went over and tasted some of the fish and he acted all dramatic.

“This is wonderful! I was sceptical but we’re glad to have you! And we still have enough time to make other dishes!”

It was 11:50 and the canteen rush’ would almost start. I thought it would start at 12:00 but it actually starts at 12:30 so we still had some time. I finished my sushi and started to eat it. Some other chefs also ate some because I made a lot and we couldn't stop eating. We got scolded by the chunky chef and since all the fish-related dishes were finished or would finish in time we got put to make some side dishes or other general dishes. Nobody seemed to care at this point that I’m just a mediocre chef on dishes unrelated to fish. I got some good tips, gave out some good tips, and sneaked in some poison and laxatives in the food here and there. I refused to poison my fish dishes though. My water magic got requested a lot and it was appreciated a lot. I saw someone with an enormous wok pan setting his food ablaze on the opposite side of the kitchen. Everyone was working in harmony and we finished just in time.

Guards and inmates started to walk into the canteen at 12:00 but at 12:30 they could come and get their food. Half of the chefs here started dealing with those while the other half, including me, started preparing food for dinner. Gregory told me that the minimum time it takes for the poison to work would be 2 hours and the maximum was 5.5 hours. Chunky chef showed me a smaller kitchen in the back and asked me how good I was at baking and making pastry. I said that fish and pastry don't go well together, he chuckled, agreed, and told me it was fine and called another chef to start making desserts. I looked at the guards and inmates who were eating their food the fish seemed popular. I hope they combine it with other food because else they won’t get poisoned. I told Ted and Gregory via my clone that the ‘canteen rush’ has started.

They confirmed that most of the guards and inmates were heading up to Layer 4 and about hearing a rumor that the fish tastes exceptional today. I guess inmates can move freely between these 4 floors during their breaks. I had to deal with some more fish but these were all smaller. Hand size or bigger than hand size. The canteen seemed extremely crowded. I got a compliment from some chefs, saying that the fish was extremely popular and that they hadn't had a day as busy as this in a long time. That was cool and all but I wanted to rest, which I got at 13:30. I looked at the people eating in the canteen.

One person caught my eye. He ate his fish but when he got to the other food, he spat it out after one bite. He stood out because he wasn't wearing a guard uniform nor any of the honey-yellow overalls the inmates were wearing he was all dressed in black, had long black hair in a ponytail, and had quite a pale complexion and sharp eyes. He shot a nasty glare at the kitchen. Something tells me he noticed the poison. He got up and approached me who was resting and looking into the crowd from the counter.

“Excuse me, can I talk to the chef that prepared the fish? It was exceptional!” Oh, you’re talking to him, I’m new here, the name is A... Damian. He shook my hand and seemed to give me a judging glare. I glared back at him.

“I have a very specific question, you see, this is the first time I visit this canteen so I’m unfamiliar with the procedures, and maybe you aren't either since you said you are new but are there certain checks the food goes through before getting served?” I honestly don’t know, I just make sure that I personally check all the dishes I’m responsible for. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough knowledge about the other dishes. Why do you ask?

“Hmm, I have a very sensitive tongue, and all the other dishes seem to be hmmmm contaminated with something. Oddly enough your dishes weren’t I just wanted to find out if this was a coincidence or intentional.” Contaminated? With hair? Bugs? Allergens? Hey Larry! We need to check I the food contains any weird stuff!

“Huh? Ehh ok, we haven’t had any complaints about weird stuff in the food though.” This shady person pulled me closer to him.

“I don’t mean any of that, don’t think you can fool me! You might fool my eyes but my intuition tells me that you’re hiding something behind an illusion or the sort.” Hmm, it seems I got found out, I can already guess what this guy’s profession is. He was probably a professional assassin. Well, I guess not so professional if he got caught but well, I got caught too just now. And do you know the nature of the illusion?

“I do not and I don’t care, are you responsible for poisoning the food or not? Don’t lie to me! I will be able to tell if you do!” He was paying close attention to me and he had grabbed my wrist a while ago so I guess he can actually tell if I’m lying. Unfortunately for him, I’m not a complete noob in illusions. The fish that I used didn't contain any poison nor did I poison any other food, I’m sorry but if what you’re saying is true and the food is poisoned, I have to tell the chefs! He strengthened his grip.

“You don’t seem to be lying but I want to see your real appearance before I fully believe you!” Ugh, you’re wasting my break, and I don’t want others to know!

“How about there? I don’t think people will go in there, I’ve been observing and it seemed everything they needed from there has been taken out already.” He pointed to the walk-in freezer door in the back. Fine, have it your way. This is convenient for me; the moment he realized I poisoned the food was the moment I had to get rid of him. I’m sure he is planning on getting rid of me too. This is just how assassins think. I started circulating nature energy through my system. And notified Starbolt that we might have a difficult battle in a bit. I told some chefs that this suspicious guy was here for quality control and led him into the walk-in freezer. It was quite spacious, there was a lot of space in this freezer. He closed the door behind him.

“Alright reveal yourself! And no tricks! I don’t know what’s behind that illusion but I can feel if you still have one up!” I guess I still have long ways to go with my illusions. I dropped my illusion and revealed my 13-year-old self.

“A kid? I surely didn’t expect that! Unfortunately for you, I don't care if you're a child or an old man, you will die here!” He took out 2 daggers out of his pockets and I saw his shadow flicker. An inmate with weapons and being able to use magic. This wasn't an ordinary inmate. May I at least hear your name before I die?

“You must have probably heard about me; the name is Arby also known as the ‘Silent Night’ be grateful to have the honor of dying by my hands.” Ooh! That is familiar yes! So, if you’re a prisoner why can you move around and do what you want without restrictions?

“You sure are talkative for someone who is about to die, but it doesn't matter if I tell you, I’m part of a secret program that uses Event Horizon prisoners as test subjects to turn them into the perfect soldier! And they choose me to be the leader of those soldiers! Hahaha!” Arby let out an overdramatic edgy laugh. He really acted like a stereotypical villain. While this guy was talking, I had Starbolt draw a magic circle made out of spirit energy. Isn't that illegal?

“Ha! So what? We get funding from Igrini kingdom and the Jarn Kingdom! And none of them know about the other! Anyways we get free reign here and will get released in 3 years! The first people ever that get released from Event Horizon! I can’t wait to be outside and kill people!” Ehh, cool story, so what does that have to do with me?

“Nobody is supposed to know this, so you have to die!” How unreasonable! You were planning to kill me before that though!

“Correct, you might not have poisoned my food but I don’t trust illusionists so you need to die!” No thanks. Starbolt finished the circle and it zapped Arby causing him to be paralyzed. I froze the door of the freezer shut and covered the small window in the door over and got 3 tails out and sent [Ice disks] at him. He was surprised and dodged by shadow melding into his own shadow and popping back out. This freezer was well lit so he couldn't so much with shadows.

“I’ve never seen this race before! I wonder what your insides look like!” He broke out of the paralyze and dashed at me. He was insanely fast, probably almost as fast as I am. I dodged and had Starbolt boost my speed. It looks the same as a human so nothing special! I parried a dagger swipe with a dagger I pulled out and we had an exchange of dagger slashes, evades, feints, and other assassin stuff.

“Same profession, eh? Can’t say I’m surprised! Are you here to assassinate me?!” Don’t be stupid! Why would they send a kid to assassinate you! Our meeting was a coincidence! I made him miss by making him slip. It failed but it threw his aim off so that I could successfully dodge. He wasn't as troublesome as the androids speed wise but he had good control over his body. I might lose this fight if I’m not careful. I dodged and left a shadow clone behind after which I dove behind a box of frozen fish. I have to make sure I can get 5 layers of [frozen skin] up before he lands a hit on me. I currently have 1.

He knew he was fighting a clone but my clone was still putting pressure on him. I formed icicles on the ceiling and made them drop on him. He effortlessly evaded them but my main objective was to get my [Frozen skin] stacks up. I chucked more [ice disks] at him. He evaded them too but he got zapped by Starbolt and became numb. I dropped more icicles on him and went at him from the side with a blade made out of frost. He tried to turn around to block my strike but I froze his feet to the floor.

“Ugh!” I slashed at him but he partially blocked it with [Shadow cloak] “Ouch! What is that? That’s not normal ice, is it?!” He could say that because the mana would be absorbed by the shadow cloak if it was water magic and protect him from the damage it would do but because I used frost magic this didn't work. It lessened the blow but most of it still went through.

His feet broke free and he wanted to turn toward me but my clone made a [steam cannon v2.0] and shot an [Ice ball] at him. He evaded and I used [Mirror] on myself and reflected the [Ice ball] to Arby. I dealt with the minor inconvenience of [mirror] which also has the effect of flipping my body so it will turn me into a lefty every odd uses. He got hit by the attack and flew into some boxes with more frozen fish. [Shadow tendrils] extended toward me. I tried to react but Arby appeared out of nowhere and drove a dagger through my heart. At least so he thought. 1 of my 5 [Frozen skin] layers shattered. I reacted by freezing the dagger and his hand. He pulled away before I could freeze his whole arm.

“How vexing” He tried to thaw his hand by sending mana through it but because it was very cold in here it went quite slowly. So, what stunt did you pull? Assassins rarely get imprisoned; they either never get caught or killed.

“They got naïve and tried to set an example, they couldn’t just kill the ‘Silent Night' so they just locked me away.” I deflected a thrown dagger by throwing a dagger at it. They made a ‘Tink’ sound and flew off in completely different directions. We started throwing daggers at each other which hit each other in midair and hit everything besides their target. I attached wires to some of them and managed to catch Arby by surprise with the unusual trajectories and gave him 1 deep cut in his leg and 2 shallow cuts on his arm and side.

“Who trained you? You are inferior to me in experience but you have a wider and more effective skillset.” I don’t owe you an explanation! I ran lightning magic through the wires while making a magic circle on the floor with the wires. Arby cut some wires with a [Shadow slash].

“I won’t fall for that again!” Are you sure? Arby was standing relatively still during all this so I had Starbolt draw a magic circle on his back. He got zapped again and numbed. I dropped the temperature in this freezer when that happened.

“What! When did you!” I moved behind him to pierce his heart but he threw out daggers in all directions. It was sloppy but one grazed me and took another layer of [Frozen skin]. [Frozen skin] is a very strong skill but it doesn't matter how strong the attack I receive is, if I get hit, I will lose a layer. He sent a [Dark pulse] at me and I used [Mirror] on myself again and reflected it back at him. I threw some daggers to follow up on the [Dark pulse]. He evaded the [Dark pulse], evaded one dagger, and caught the other. He went into stealth and I threw [ice disks] at him. He got grazed by one which dropped him out of stealth and I closed the wires around him and bound him. He used [Dark nova] which blasted the wires off him and he was covered in a shadowy mass.

“I’ve had enough of you!” He used [Dark grasp] which sent a dark shadowy hand at me. I evaded the tracking hand and threw boxes of fish at it. It grasped the fish and crushed them. Well, it didn't crush the fish but the hearts of the fish. “Ugh, I forgot that this place has organic bait with hearts!”

This skill tracks its target until it hits something organic and crushes its heart. It only works if it’s organic and has a heart. So, I will have to use these fish as decoys when he uses it. I went into stealth. Arby started pulsing [Dark pulses] around him to knock me out of stealth if I got close. Too bad for him I excel at timing attacks. This skill pulsed every 2 seconds. Does he seriously think an assassin can’t deal meaningful damage in that interval?

The pulses had quite a large radius so I don’t blame him for this. I charged my dagger with purple lightning. I circulated more nature energy through my system. I dropped an ice cube in front of me with my other hand and used [Turning leaf] on Arby the moment a pulse went out.

He appeared in front of me and I stabbed the purple lightning-imbued dagger at his heart. Unfortunately for me, he had lightning-fast reflexes and I missed his heart. He took a lot of damage though. I tried to follow up but his next [dark pulse] was coming. I had to gamble between losing a layer of [Frozen skin] and possibly sealing the deal or to move away from the [Dark pulse]. I decided to push for more damage. And I vibrated the dagger and twisted it. Arby winced and I got hit by a [Dark pulse]. I had 2 more layers left. He jumped back and was still alive. He tried to close the wound with some shadows but I tried to prevent it by freezing him. He chose to prioritize his wound and allowed his feet to get frozen. He sent another [Dark grasp] at me so I was forced to run away and grab fish as bait. I was still in range of his [Dark pulse] so I had to move anyways.

While I was dodging the [Dark pulse] and baiting the [Dark grasp] he broke his feet out of the ice. The cold was making him noticeably slower. I threw more daggers at him. He tried to knock them off their trajectory by throwing daggers at them but I changed the trajectory with my wires. He used [Dark nova] again and the shadowy mass around him became bigger. A large arm made out of shadow appeared from the mass and swiped at me. I [shadow melded] into my own shadow to dodge it. It smacked everything it hit to the side of the freezer.

I used [Mirror] on myself to reflect a [Dark bolt] back. I sent [Ice disks] after them and some [Frost disks]. Arby seemed to have anticipated that I would follow the attack that I sent instead of using ranged attacks. My clone who was hiding in stealth the whole time and got buffed by Starbolt landed some slashes at Arby’s back. It was supposed to be lethal but his reflexes saved him again. Another arm with a scythe appeared from the shadowy mass around him and cut my clone in half. The arm kept swinging and the scythe got swung at me. I tried to move but he simultaneously cast [Shadow bind] on me. I blocked the scythe with a [Frost wall] while trying to break out the shadow bind. But I was too occupied with the shadow bind and the scythe that I didn't notice that the other hand was about to slam me. I got slammed and was down to my last layer.

It slammed down on me again and I surrounded myself with my multi-layered frost and water shell. I swapped myself with a frozen fish to get out. More daggers and I responded in kind while evading the arms and scythe.

This exchange of throwing daggers went on for half an hour. I really needed to get out of here fast! I need to set up more preparations! During this last half hour, my mana started to drain way faster. This means Ted and Gregory are at their destination, Layer 2. I was running out of steam quite swiftly here. Frost magic would have worked well here if this guy didn't stick to shadow and dark magic. Because they also absorb mana it's a terrible matchup for frost magic if I want to absorb mana. I got [shadow bound] and I [shadow bound] Arby in response. Arby wasn't trying to break out and was just sending attacks at me. Here is where he had the advantage because my defensive options aren’t as good as his. I swapped myself with a fish and broke out but got boxed in by an arm and the scythe. The range of this thing is insane.

I jumped on the scythe but got grazed taking away my last [Frozen skin] layer. I froze the scythe and tried to shatter it but I got another [Dark grasp] thrown at me. I swapped an ice cube I made with a fish which got hit by [Dark grasp] and I shattered the scythe.

“Ugh, I got to hand it to you only very experienced assassins and fighters have ever managed to survive this long against me.” He smiled after a shard of the shattered scythe made a shallow cut on my cheek. “I will grant you the highest honor of showing why I was called ‘Silent Night’, rejoice and die!” He used another [Dark Nova] and the shadowy mass gained a head and it exhaled black fog.

“[Silent Night]” I lost sight of him.

I went through filters to find him. All the sound died out, no smell all my senses were shut off. Except. A piercing pain in my chest. The fog lifted and I saw a dagger sticking out of my chest.

“You have done well; I will remember this fight.” Is what I heard from behind. This skill is terrifying but… Unfortunately for you, my race has its heart on the right side of our body. This was bullshit but the skill [mirror] flips my body as if I’m looking in a mirror. My heart was currently on my right and I was currently left-handed. I didn’t let him react and I used the ice version of [Eternal Winter] and froze him solid. I moved forward to get the frozen dagger out of my chest. It did miss my heart but it still did a lot of damage.

I froze the wound and circulated nature energy to the wound. He punctured my lung which was a big problem. I used the nature energy to get the blood and fluid out of my lung. It was uncomfortable and excruciating. I used [Mirror] to turn back to normal. I didn't do this on purpose but maybe using [mirror] to fight assassins is something I should do more often. They either go for the heart or the head if it's standard assassination.

I tried to recover for 10 minutes but it went quite slow. My mana was draining and now my left shoulder and right side of my chest hurt. Everything seems to be aiming for my heart lately. I went into stealth and left the freezer. It was almost 15:00. The kitchen seemed to be in an uproar. It seemed the real Damian appeared. But he doesn't seem to be great at dealing with fish and he's getting shit on by the other chefs. Not my problem. I got quite careless in that fight there. But at least I came out of that battle with all my lives. The dagger strike didn't contain any poison so I don’t have to worry about that. I didn't see much of what happened with that skill [Silent Night] but if Gregory could learn that, it would be quite helpful. It probably is one of those skills that are hard to learn… I left the canteen and hid nearby trying to recover. I saw a brunette woman who had an air of importance walk into the canteen. I bet that's Casi, it seems that I dodged a problematic situation. I noticed inmates running out of the canteen. I circulated more nature energy through my body and decided to rest for a bit longer.
