Agnisotra: Origin Tails

Ch 64: Wild Magma ride

Day 3: I woke up refreshed, with no energy wave, no shade pounding on the ground, no headache, and no nausea! The day starts perfectly but I can't shake the feeling that this is the best my day will get. A clone notified me that my 9t fox powers are back. Hmm, one clone, in particular, has been quite busy. The Horze family was still sleeping.

I took all my tails out and started to brush them. I noticed that I only have 8 tails. I thought I unlocked the 9th yesterday but it seems it was only temporarily. I looked at myself. So still no cool-looking blue ears, that's fine it will come eventually. I should check the dimensional fabric but I think I did a decent job fixing it and honestly, I don't feel like it. I will try to keep my day as nausea and headache free as possible. I quietly left the room. There seemed to be some ruckus. It was coming from upstairs. Why can't I chill in another room? Ted snores! Because other spirits are occupying those rooms!

But they are empty! Not because you can't see them means that they are empty! Guys, the whole palace can hear you.

Ooh, can I sleep in your room? Just listen to Greg…

Meh. I've had enough sleep I'm going to stretch my legs. Ok, I'm going to sleep some more.

How can you sleep with that… that noise! I could hear Ted snoring from here.

Just put your tails in your ears. Gregory put his tails in his ears and went back to their room.

Ooh, smart! Raishin did the same and went back to their room. It was 04:46 so I don't blame them for going back to sleep. I stepped outside the palace and it was quiet. Everyone was still sleeping. I went to the underground lake to see if Cee Horze was reformed. As I arrived, I saw a lake way larger than I remember. Right, My clone flooded the tunnel. It seems the water reached all the way here. I think I should omit that this is my fault when we probably have to pass through here later today. Gregory is going to kill me if he knows this was my doing. I talked to some water spirits but it seems Cee Horze hasn't reformed yet. Too bad. I thanked the spirits for helping and played with them. I made sure to only use racial skills because my next 2 magic skills were free because my clone used [Tsunami]. It used one free cast for [Water jet] Which was kind of a waste but understandable. I wonder what I will use my free casts on.

Technically I can refresh this with another [Tsunami] but… I looked at this lake that was quite large now. Yeah, that is going to cause problems. It is a good thing the water my clone used from [Tsunami] disappeared after use but it seems Cee Horze’s skill is permanent. 8 times the volume of the water there would probably also flood the underground city here. That would have sucked. After relaxing and playing with the spirits for about 3 hours. I decided to check what the schedule is for today, hmm not much. I walked through the city which was a bit busier now. People were arguing and being noisy.

“There you are!”

“Hey! Let me go!” I saw a group of humans approaching, they were dragging Philip and Hera. I guess this is where my headaches will start again. Coming to do something stupid again? Let them go.

“We will if you send us back to our town, we investigated this place yesterday but we couldn't find a way out!”

“Yeah! This is a prison!” Hmm, that is odd I remember walking to this place.

“You are not only a kidnapper but also a liar!” Yeah, yeah, whatever. I looked at the surface and the Fusionado was still going. It looked like it got weaker but there was no trace of Boshi town left. You will just die if I send you back, do you still want to return?

“We can find out for ourselves if we will die or not!”

”Yeah!” a good 300 people seemed to agree. Fine, let them go and I will draw a magic circle to send you back up. Gather everyone who wants to ignore my warning and die up there. I gestured for them to move aside as I started drawing a big magic circle on an empty space. Some people went and fetched more humans to get teleported back. A good 1700 people gathered around.

“Ooh! I see that you persuaded the criminal!” I really wonder what is going through their heads, they don’t trust me in anything except for returning them to the surface, some people will just selectively believe in what they want regardless of any other facts that point out the flaws in these beliefs. I saw Paul and Paula. They seemed to be in a hurry.

“Agnis! What are you doing? You can't send them back up there! They will die!” Well, that is what I told them but they don’t want to listen, they threatened to hurt Hera and Philip so I don't have any choice.

“But you will be sending them to their deaths!” I know but if they choose for that who am I to deny their choice? I just want them to stop harassing Hera and Philip. Paul and Paula tried to address the 1700 people and convince them while I continued working on the magic circle. I saw Donkey and his group of bullies between them. Hera approached me.

“Hey, Agnis, will they really die if they go back up there?” You have seen how bad it was before right? It is many times worse there right now.

“Is there no way to save them?” If they are going to actively harm people here to get what they want then I’m afraid not, if they hurt each other then I don't care but if they mess with you or my friends then we have a problem. The nicest thing I can do is to just give them what they want.

“I see…” I could see some light bruises on Hera suggesting that she got treated quite roughly. Right, anyone who wants to meet the Fusionado, come step on this magic circle, it’s almost done. I led Hera and Philip far from the circle. I brought them to where Paul and Paula were still trying to convince people to not step into the circle. It seems they only managed to convince 2 small families.

Right because Hera asked so nicely, I will do one last attempt. What you will experience when you arrive is probably instant blindness followed by getting vaporized several nanoseconds later. Anyone able to survive past 1 second could be counted as unlucky because at least instant vaporization is painless. You will die before you will even be able to see the state Boshi town is in. Anyone who thinks I’m talking nonsense is free to stay in the circle.

“We won't fall for your tricks!”

“Just send us home already!” Right, at least I tried. I finished the magic circle and the group of 1700 ish humans got teleported to the surface. I looked at Paul and Paula and they seemed quite sad. I’m sorry but at this rate, they would become a danger to the other people here.

“We understand... But that didn't make it an easy choice…” For some reason, the ambiance in the city improved. It seems most of the troublemakers were gone now. The people still looked at me a bit odd but I guess the meanest looks I noticed were from those that got sent away. I guess most of them realized that it was a bad idea to continue living in a place swarmed by shades. I went back into the palace and located Isi.

“Oh Agnis, I was just about to send for you. Are you and your friends ready for the journey to the root? It is a long one. I hope you are well prepared.” I will get my buddies; shall we meet up at the underground lake?

“That is fine. I will meet you there in 30 minutes.” Isi made a short chat with a golem-like spirit and disappeared into one of the corridors. Ok, so where was the room my buddies were staying in? Shit, I didn’t have my tails when they got their room so I forgot. It was one floor down from where I was staying. But I also forgot where that was. Hmm, this sucks. I asked a golem-like spirit and he directed me to the east wing on the third floor. I heard another ruckus. I guess I found them. I saw Raishin running away from Ted with a pillow in his hand. I used my tails as tripwires. Oof! Ha! Thanks for helping catch Raishin! We have 30 minutes to get ready for the trip to the root. Isi will be waiting for us at the lake.

Ok, I will tell Greg! Ted grabbed Raishin by his ankles and dragged him back to their room.

Help! That's what you get for stealing pillows! I walked toward the lake still thinking about what skills I would use for free. I guess it depends on the situation. I should practice more with this strong passive skill I got from Azu. I'm still neatly adhering to the rules that magic circles force upon everyone. I am lacking shaped magic. My ice arrows aren't real arrows just some frozen [water balls] that are stretched out. My ice bow is the only thing I used the skill for.

I looked at my hand. Am I that afraid of the skills Azu gave me? I used [Tsunami] when there was no risk in using it. Theoretically, I could shape the tsunami after it forms and control it better. Hmm, I guess you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs. I will see what I can do. I arrived at the lake and looked at how the water spirits were playing. They surely are carefree. I envy them a little bit.

“So carefree these little ones.” I saw Isi appear with one bulky golem-like spirit. Yeah, I was just thinking I envy them a little bit.

“I envy them too, yesterday I had my hands full with some humans that demanded to get rooms in the palace.” Ugh, of course, they did, I'm sorry for that. I’m slowly getting the feeling that bringing them down here might have been a bad idea. I know they can’t see spirits but I made it clear that they are guests here…

“Pay it no mind, I have heard complaints and reports from other spirits that these humans did not treat you well either even though you saved them. I had several from the water spirits and also some today from spirits that happened to see your interaction with that large group.” Even though you were ok with me teleporting them here, I still apologize.

“Oh, you do not need to apologize, some spirits were worried that you would side with the humans but they seem to be happy that you have a more neutral stance.” Hmm, I'm not so sure about neutral, I'm familiar with humans but the spirits have shown me nothing but respect and decency. Even those spirit sisters that almost killed us seemed to be quite decent.

“Just like there are bad humans there are also bad spirits, I hope you will not forget this.” You have a point. I saw my buddies approach. Ugh, I don't remember this lake being this big! Me neither.

“Hmm, I can not remember this lake being this large either, maybe some water spirits wanted to expand their territory a bit. I have no problems with water. Do any of you?” This guy here has! We don't have to dive down there, right?

“Unfortunately, the tunnel we need to go through has been flooded so we will have to go for a swim.” Noo! We are underground! Why is there water down here? I thought we would deal with magma and dirt! So how far do we have to travel underwater?

“I do not know but we do have someone who does now.” Isi looks at me. Whud? Yeah, go look for how long this goes on! Oh right! Phew for a moment there I thought Isi knew that I was responsible for flooding this tunnel. Hmm, ooh that is quite the distance. That is a good 900 meters to a kilometer. Bah. There seems to be a huge lake at the end. Nooo!

“Hmm that is strange, I know I haven't been down here for over 700 years but the last time I was down there, there was a big magma pool there… What could have happened…” Maybe some god was messing around again! Oh right, that reminds me! I told Isi and my buddies what the Horze family told me. Ugh, so it is worse than we thought… So, you 2 traveling together could be seen as a war declaration on Biian?

That is my assumption yes…

“I did not know this fact but if this is true it is well in her personality to see you 2 traveling together as a war declaration yes.” The day started so well and now my headaches are back… You always have headaches! Hey Greg where are you going come back here! Ted grabbed Gregory who tried to escape.

We are going down there! Nooo! Ted handed Gregory over to Raishin who dragged Gregory into the water. Time for some tailed swim action!

“Oh, that is not necessary. We will need to swim in that tunnel but getting to it will be quite easy. Water spirits if you could?” The water spirits gathered and parted the lake so that we could walk to the tunnel. As we walked to the tunnel Raishin gathered air and made a big [Air ball]. I paid close attention to the magic circle he used and archived it. I know enough about magic circles to discover that this magic circle is quite sloppy. It wastes too much mana in its creation, but I guess that is not a problem for Raishin. Hehe, like this we can walk all the way to the end with an air bubble this big! You can thank me, Greg! Never thought I would say this but you're a lifesaver Raishin!

Hehe, praise me more! Just start walking! We walked through the tunnel in the big air bubble.

Make sure you allow some water to pass over the bubble so that we don't get into trouble with pressure differences! I don't know what that means but sure! We descended and eventually entered the big magma chamber which was a big lake now. We were still underwater but the surface of the lake seemed lower than when I left. Hey is that a rock snake?

“That is the magma snake that used to live here, A lot has changed here since I visited here the last time." What would even be able to turn a magma pool into a big lake? I stuck my tails out of the air bubble and used them as a propellor and brought us to the surface.

One frost boat incoming! I made a super sturdy frost boat that was big enough to carry us all but also would have high mobility. I also made sure there were seatbelts made out of frost.

Hey Agnis… what are these for? You will figure out soon enough. Oh, this reminds me of the last time we were on a frost boat! Let me be the engine again!

I will be the engine this time. Huh, do you have enough energy to do this? Can't we just do the same we did last time? You use those numbers thing we came up with and I match the output?

Oh, that was a thing! Oh, that is a good idea! I made a small ball of frost and threw it at Raishin.

Huh? Same thing, I say a number and you feed the matching energy into that frost ball! Agnis? What did you see? I have a feeling I know…

What? Ted explained our adventure in the underground river. Gregory seems horrified.

What?! That’s insane! I’m glad you knocked me out but can't you do that this time? Ugh, is it just me or is it starting to become quite suffocating here? We are still going to right way right Isi? The spirit she brought with her was fanning her but it didn't seem to help much.

“Yes, we need to go past the magma fall and take the third entrance from the left." Wait magma fall? Everyone looks at me.

Yup, it is so suffocating here because this ends in a waterfall but it falls into a magma pool, that steam column you see there is the result of it, it is driving up the humidity here. I made [Frost cloaks] on everyone.

“Ooh, this is comfortable.” So, the reason why you are our propellor is because Raishin will burn his tails off when we hit the magma? Yup! I will have to turn this boat into a cart though after we fall. Why is that? Magma is just molten rock, boats don't float on it, just like you can't use a boat on land you can't use one on magma I assume.

Wait won't we sink without a boat? Gregory explained to Raishin why we wouldn’t sink as I prepared for the waterfall.

Waterfall in 100. 100 what? Meters? Seconds? Minutes? I can't see anything with all this steam! Meters, strap in guys because this will be a wild ride! Raishin when I give the sign, I need you to put a 33 on that frost ball! Uhh, ok! I can't see anything! I can link my vision with you guys but you might get headaches from what I’m running now. No, I’m fine! Pass! Link me up, please! I linked Gregory’s vision to mine and I could see him grab his head.

Ugh, this route you have mapped is madness! Nah it will be fine! We dropped down and I realized that I wasted a free skill on [frost cloak] which takes like 5 mana or something.

Hey hey! what are you doing? You can't do that! What? I can't see anything what is he doing?!

He just scrapped his whole route to use his [Tsunami]! He had a skill like that? Sorry guys I only have 1 free cast left so might as well make it big! I used [Tsunami] and made our boat ride on top of the enormous wave.

Hey, Agnis what is this 8x volume multiplier on your water spells? I thought it was only 4x. You can thank Azu. The tsunami drowned most of the magma below turning it into rock. I formed the boat into a kart. It brought us safely all the way to the other side and we took the 3rd exit from the left. We sped through the tunnel and slowly all the water ended up evaporating. I dipped my tails into the magma and started spinning them. This costs a lot of energy but it will give me greater control over our vehicle. We entered another magma chamber that had pillars of magma erupt occasionally.

“We need to get up there!” Isi pointed at an exit that was quite high up.

How do we even get there? Hehe, I don't like the sound of that.

Raishin gimme a 43! Roger! Agnis, I hope this route you mapped is a joke. It is a joke, right?

Our ride-up will arrive in 74 seconds please strap in and keep your limbs and tails inside the vehicle at all times! Agnis!!! I weaved between some rocks and magma pillars to make sure we would arrive on time to catch our magma pillar up.

Right, I suck at earth magic so I will need one of you 2 to make sure we don't fall off this magma pillar! Can't you just use your fire or whatever? How many times do I have to tell you that magma isn’t fire it’s just molten rock! I will take care of that because else you might be the only one that survives this. This is crazy…

We arrived at our destination and magma erupted. I steered us to the magma pillar and circled around it slowly climbing the magma pillar. Be careful! I can't save you if you get flung off! This is insane!

Can you launch us, Greg? I don't have a choice, do I?! Gregory launched us by causing some magma to push us off the pillar toward our exit.

Greg! You missed! Hey, give me a break! I’m not used to dealing with magma! Hmm, this is a problem. Actually, it isn't. I froze wings of frost to our cart and steered us mid-air. We crashed on the floor and slid into our exit.

Wow, nice one! There is some solid rock here we could rest a bit… No thanks lets continue! I see what you’re doing you're planning some stupid route again! Guys a bit further up is the last magma chamber the problem is uhh it has waves.

I thought you said it was molten rock and not like water! Well, that is true! But it seems this magma chamber doesn't care… Yeah, if it was water, we could crash through some waves but if we do that here we will literally crash and you will all turn into tailed barbeque.

Ooh, I’m getting hungry now! Do you have some food? I took a chicken leg out of my dimensional pocket but it instantly turned into ash.

Uhh, how about some ash? Meh, this place sucks. Agnis what is this idea?

Ugh, I should kick you out of this visual link. Okay, so I have an idea. I will modify my [Steam cannon v2.0] into [Steam cannon v2.1] and make it shoot us through the air, then I will remake the kart with some wings. Hopefully, all the hot air will create enough lift to keep us in the air for long enough. I will need Raishin to be the engine of this though to bring us as far as possible and he will swap with me after we crash… ehhm land. Hey! Is there any idea that isn't crazy? How about we teleport?

We can try that but… There are a lot of pockets with ambient mana that differ in concentration… Yeah, that… I can try to teleport us somewhere in the air and freeze a kart below us, I like the kart with wing idea more though… I vote teleport! Kart with wings!

Teleport! Hmm, 2 against 2, Isi?

“While your idea sounds interesting Agnis, I would like to go for the teleport.” Hey golem spirit you want the kart with wings idea, right? Meh, he wants whatever Isi chose. Maybe another time. Hey, Greg help me correct for the different pockets here this is quite tricky. I think that pocket there might interfere since it might move, also avoid that one there.

Hmm, can’t we just brute force it? How much energy do you have stored? Hmm is this enough?

Barely, let's see what happens. I grab everyone with my tails and teleport. It threw me a bit off but only by 12 meters.

Hmm, I didn't use any mana for that. Hmm, what is this? 2 out of 3 free magic spells left? Oh, right haha! So, you messed up?

It's only 12 meters! We even got further than I planned! I froze another kart and we headed toward our destination. It looked like some small temple on a big rock island There was some odd bridge behind it. The bridge was stupidly long. We arrived at the weird temple.

Oof I’m pooped. Isi walked toward the temple and cast some spirit magic on its gate. The gate opened and 2 large higher fire spirits came out.

“These people here are my guests, is Ira here?” The spirits told her that they haven't seen this Ira person for over 500 years. We walked inside. The spirits gave us a mean look but after their eyes fell on me, they corrected their behavior and gave me a polite nod.

What is this place? “My old friend Ira lives here. Well, I say old friend but the last time I talked to her we had an argument… She had the classic case of trying to take over part of the corporeal world, she is a spirit too, one without a vessel…” So, we are waiting for her?

“She oversees this area so I would suggest we do such, you see Ira, she... She has a bad temper. I would recommend doing our best to not anger her.” Do you hear that Agnis and Raishin? Hey! Hey! So, in the inevitable case that one of these 2 anger her what do we do?

“We run” We run?

“We run yes.” Hmm, that sounds like an issue, make sure you don't piss her off Raishin! Hey! Isi told us that as long as we stayed in this area of the temple, we could make ourselves at home. We were not to wander to the other parts of the temple or go to the back of the temple. She told us that she will go and look for Ira and that this might take a while and suggested that we should prepare for spending the night here. There seems to be only one long bridge behind this temple, it shouldn't be hard to find her, right?

“I am not concerned about finding her, I’m concerned about how she will react when I find her.” Oh… that sounds complicated! Good luck!

“Thank you” Isi left and we were alone with the 2 big fire spirit guards. So, what do we do now? Why don’t you practice some magma magic, Greg and Ted? Hmm, It doesn't respond well to earth magic, I think I need specific magic circles for it. Oh, maybe this place has a library! Or documents!

In this heat? Good luck with that one. Don't forget to stay in this part of the temple! I will keep an eye out on Raishin. I decided to talk to the fire spirits or well it seems they are magma spirits. They could speak a bit Hourai eh I mean Old Kaledonian but they weren't great at it. So, we talked in the spirit language. They told me that their road to becoming higher spirits was quite tough but well worth it. Apparently, they started out as lesser fire spirits. It seems to be a combination of luck, mastering their spirit power, and finding good power spots or other spirits to help them grow.

It doesn't seem to be time-related because some grow way faster than others. It is not like us corporeal bearings who grow naturally stronger over time. I asked them why every spirit is treating me with such respect even though I haven't done anything to them nor is it likely I probably would. And they told me that the prolonged presence of a spirit fox stimulates their growth. It seemed related to why we are ‘The Bridge’ I guess. I asked if it was possible for me to become a spirit mage. The spirits misunderstood and politely declined to state that they had a duty to protect this place.

Wait so it is possible? They seemed to know that it is possible but not why there only have been 5 spirit fox spirit mages in history.

It is probably super hard then, we have so much stuff to deal with adding learning spirit magic on top of that sounds like a huge headache. The spirits agreed with me. I asked them to tell me about the person who is supposed to live here Ira. They didn't want to tell me a lot about her besides that she has a bad temper and that she set out to find something. She sensed that something changed or was amiss and set out 500-ish years ago and never returned.

I hope she isn't dead… I get the stereotypical ’Of course she isn't dead!’

‘She wouldn't lose to anyone!’ Then again spirits just disappear and reform at their power spot and the worst-case scenario gets sent back to the spirit world. It seems this temple is the core of her power spot so she would probably have reformed here if she got ‘killed’. Maybe she is trapped? Or something is keeping her busy. What would keep a literal hothead busy for over 500 years? I thought about it and I didn't like the first idea I came up with.

I’m sure a hot-tempered and prideful magma spirit would never give up if she encountered an obnoxious puzzle… I asked the spirits if there was a chance that Ira encountered an obnoxious puzzle. They didn't know. I tried to look beyond the bridge but something like the Boshi barrier was blocking my view past a certain point. I made sure to check that this wasn't like those separate spaces but it wasn't. Just the stupid barrier. I look outside and Gregory seems to have found something written on fire-resistant leather and is practicing some magma magic.

What did you find? A method describing how to use 2 specific magma skills one is [Magma wave] and it matches my earth affinity well but this one here [Magma snake] also seems to need a strong fire affinity, maybe you should give it a go. Won't my terrible earth affinity make it useless? I don't know, that is why I'm practicing. The [Magma wave] is quite tricky but given enough time. How about you give the [Magma snake] a try? Gregory hands me the leather which describes the magic and contains the magic circles for them.

Learning magic skills like this isn't always effective, especially not when they're complex, this one isn’t that complex so it should be fine. Most elements have skills that are similar, the only difference between the magic circle of [Fire ball] and [Water ball] is the magical element they invoke. There could be some minor differences but in theory if a person knows a certain skill, he/she could learn the equivalent in another element relatively easy. I know [Water Snake] so this should be a piece of cake. I studied both skills and archived them. As Gregory said, a strong fire affinity was needed to use [Magma Snake] I would probably be unable to use [Magma wave] but I could get away with a shitty [Magma snake].

It surely was costly in mana but it seemed the more mana you put in it the more it would act and behave like a living creature. I wonder if Horny Snake was some super strong individual pouring an ocean's worth of mana into it… I can’t blame everything on Azu. I think Magma snakes are also real living creatures in this world. I would know if there was a library in this town! I calmed down because it seems Gregory picked up on my sudden frustration.

I have 2 more free casts. This is a problem I just want to practice I don't want a sentient shitty-looking magma snake… Can I regulate the strength of it if my cast is free? I don't know… Maybe the skill Azu gave me will help! Yes! She must have given me this for situations like this! I tried to set how I wanted the snake to behave and used my free cast to make a [Magma Snake]. I was expecting some huge badass monster like my clone met yesterday but what I got was a 1-meter-long cute magma noodle. Well, that is rude it was a proper snake it was just so small and it looked harmless. I picked it up.

Hey, I don't remember this document mentioning something about making a snake pet. I... Me neither, honestly, I’m surprised, I expected you to make some enormous monstrosity or flat-out fail.

Hey! I’m quite confident in my mana control! And I did my best to make something that's not huge! The magma snake was coiling around my arm and looking around curiously.

This is just a magic skill, right? I didn't just make a lifeform, right? Gregory inspected it. He couldn't properly feel the energy it was giving off because my [Frost cloak] was still protecting him from the heat and it would also absorb other kinds of energy.

Hmm, I’m sure it's not a life form but it also doesn't seem like simple magic. What did you do? I just used the magic circle as this document told me to but because I have a free cast and its effectiveness depends on how much mana you pour in it, I just tried to make it a [Magma snake] that was useful and well-behaved.

Well, there you have it, it is useful because it isn't as large as I expected it to be and it seems better behaved than Raishin. How did your poor earth affinity play into this? Hmm, I think it is responsible for its small size because I imagined it to be… bigger. Hmm well, some runes in this circle suggest that earth plays into its size and sturdiness while fire into its attack power and ability to... Regenerate? Am I reading this right?

I don't know to me it reads more as able to piece itself together, it sounds similar but I'm not sure how accurate this is… I played a bit with the [Magma Snake]. I need to give it a good name. I decided to name him Ignis. Agnis and Ignis! Perfect! I put Ignis on the ground and let him explore a bit.

Is it a good idea to let it roam around like that? Ignis will be fine, he is a good snake. Oh, you named it…

Yeah, Agnis and Ignis! Cool, eh? At least you didn't call it something silly like Fire Snake or something. I observed how Gregory practiced and improved his [Magma wave]. After he decided that he practiced enough we went inside. I asked one of the spirits where Ted and Raishin are and they directed us to the kitchen.

I thought spirits don't need to eat. They don't need to but it seems that some spirits enjoy eating. And it works out for us! It wasn't as hot inside this temple as it was outside so my [Frost cloak] wasn't needed in here. It also didn't seem to be just room temperature because Gregory was sweating a little bit. We got to the kitchen and found Raishin raiding the kitchen and Ted trying to stop him. Well, can’t say I'm surprised, found anything good to eat? Nope! There is only bread!

What's with spirits and their obsession with bread? No clue… Raishin don't touch that!

Hmm, this bread is pretty good.

Agnis, not you too! Hey, what is this snake doing here? Oh, Ignis, you want some bread too? Ignis slithered up my body and coiled around my neck and took a bite from the bread I offered.

You tamed a baby magma snake?! What if his mother comes to get him back? Relax Ted, Agnis made it with a magic skill we found.

Oh, because that makes it any less crazy! Yeah, I know right Ignis? He is just jealous!

Ugh, why do I bother… Hey, can I pet it? If you want to burn your hand sure!

But he’s so cute! Alright! I'm done with your weirdos! I'm going to take a nap! How late is it Agnis? It's dinner time, I guess I'll help myself to more of this bread. We helped ourselves to some food and decided to relax. All of us relaxed while Gregory continued to practice with some magma magic. I played with Ignis and sent him after Raishin.

Hey, that's hot! Owowoow! Get him Ignis! Use [flamethrower]!

Hothot! We continued doing not much while waiting for Isi, our day ended without her returning or any sign.
