Age of Beast Tamers and Exorcists

Chapter 33: Two Weeks Later

After passing the trials in the Soul Land, Zmey Ashbane and Nero Norman became legal students.

They could now move freely in the Magic Sanctuary. From cultivating magic to getting top-notch info in the library.

Taking classes as well, and even showering in the hot spring.

But they had yet to do anything since they got there. In other words, nothing particularly.

But neither of the two guys nor the awakened students, in general, felt overwhelmed by this.

Because acquiring knowledge about the sanctuary was worth the wait for a whole two weeks.

They explored the cores of the sanctuary, which had an unimaginable width.

Some places had shops, game houses, and other things from the outside world. To those who were newly admitted, the sanctuary resembled a small town.

Zmey and some others found that the best part was how they had marked everywhere into sections.

For instance, in the north, there were places called the 'Northern Unit.'

The most important building there was the Magi Hall. Others existed as complements to this hall.

The orientation handlers told them that the Magi Hall was for meetings. It was between Eldengrove's political unit and the sanctuary's important officials.

This included a meeting between the king, his chieftains, and the elders of the sanctuary.

The library was the primary building in the southern part. One could find scrolls there, ingredients for making potions or alchemical pills. It also had historical documentaries.

But Zmey and Nero wanted to know things better first. Later, they would explore the materials inside the library with enthusiasm.

The Eastern Unit encompassed the practice section and the health-related section. The practice section included the Peak Mountain and the Cultivation Highland.

Between these training grounds was the Hot Spring Mountain for taking hot baths. It was much closer to the Peak Mountain - also large enough to hold as many people as possible at once.

During orientation, they were first told about the training grounds. Zmey had scoffed in his mind. Like... must they create a social hierarchy here as well?

He thought they were away from the naive world. Only newbies from influential houses could cultivate in the Peak Mountain. The Cultivation Highland was for ordinary newbies.

Reportedly, high-rank wielders created the Peak Mountain. They had a kind of architectural magic to design spaces as they wished.

Cultivators on the Peak Mountain didn't need to take a bath with others in the Hot Spring Mountain.

Because, while cultivating, the space could create anything they desired in that space. A paradise! A feast, a hot, exhilarating bath, even treasure. All was possible.

Unfortunately, nothing of the sort was possible in the Cultivation Highlands.

As for the Western Unit, they weren't introduced to it during their orientation. For no certain reason.

They have heard about everything now. But they haven't yet received permission to enter. Must they explore the sanctuary for that long?

Nero had once thought while resting against an oak tree at noon... they were to have started classes and to cultivate.
