Age of Ascension: Forging an Immortal Realm from Nothing

Description: The ultimate sacred treasure of some random cultivation sect. A universe in a grain of sand, capable of storing all of creation.

"The hell…?" Wu Chi's eyes widened. That was one hell of an upgrade. It went from a rickety old barn to a mysterious, six-sided hexahedron, shimmering with black and gold, its surface covered in slowly rotating Taiji symbols. At a glance, you'd think it was some kind of celestial artifact. Looking at the upgrade cost, it seemed to be on the same "holy shit that's expensive" tier as the [Tower of Fiery Judgment].
As for the "Hand of Streaming Light," it was basically an auto-loot function. Wu Chi dropped a pile of random junk he'd gotten from chests on the ground and activated the function. A beam of light shot out from the hexahedron, instantly snatched up the items, and zipped back inside. A panel immediately popped up in his mind, listing the type and quantity of everything now stored inside.
"Now that's a handy feature," Wu Chi said, extremely pleased. With his territory's current size, it was a neat convenience. But once his domain expanded… it would be an absolute game-changer. He promptly dumped most of his inventory onto the ground and watched as the light beams efficiently cleaned up his mess.
…
At the entrance to the [Vanguard of Qin] barracks, Wu Chi strolled up to the recruitment interface and, without a second thought, maxed it out.
Soon, the tent flap opened, and a stream of tall, heroic, and drop-dead gorgeous women marched out. They moved with a disciplined grace, forming a perfect line and saluting in unison.
"Your Majesty!"
Forty new Great Qin Vanguards.
"Excellent." Wu Chi gave them the quick and dirty rundown of the situation, marched them over to the Weapon Refinery to get geared up, and then power-leveled them all to Level 5.
And just like that, he was broke again. His Void Crystals and Essence Stones were almost completely gone.
But it was worth it. You had to spend money to make money. Or, in this case, spend resources to fuel the war that would get you more resources.
…
Day 12!
The invasions were relentless. Wu Chi had barely had a moment's rest before a new wave of green-skinned monsters called [Flame Goblins] attacked. They were weak, but their natural fire resistance made his flame-based towers a lot less effective. Luckily, he had plenty of other ways to kill things, and the goblins were swiftly wiped out.
…
Day 13!
After a sleepless night (the Day 12 boss, a Dragon-blooded Goblin, didn't show up until 11 PM), another day of constant fighting began. That boss had been a tough customer, but it stood no chance against Sister Lin's brand of hyper-violence and was literally hacked to pieces. The fifty-strong Vanguard army had also proven their worth, their battle formation holding the line against ten thousand Bear Goblins.
Today's boss, a thirty-meter-long Molten Salamander with insane defenses, had showed up early. It was a brutal fight. Two Vanguards were even killed in the chaos. But in the end, between his heroes, his army, and his towers, the beast finally fell.

Day 14!

Day 15!
Last night was quiet. By 9 AM, there was still no sign of an invasion. The territory was starting to look more developed now, with several new [Spirit Fields] and [Moon Wells] built. Most importantly, he had added eight new defense towers. He had even ◈ Nоvеlіgһт ◈ (Continue reading) upgraded the [Palace] to Level 5, which now had a hundred rooms. He'd blown a few crystals on the [Red Chamber] each day, but with no luck. Knowing he had to be smart with his cash, he'd stopped.
And today, he stood before a new destination. The [Bright Moon Palace].
