After Time Traveling, I was Forced to Marry a Wealthy Family

Chapter 54 - I

Gu Huai initially thought it was a dream but quickly dismissed the idea. Even in his dreams, he had never expected Mu Ci to initiate a hug. If not for his status as a family head, he might have cried.

The brief, intertwining embrace of dream and reality lasted only two seconds. Mu Ci abruptly woke up, as if shocked by his own actions. Feeling embarrassed and irritated for some reason, he opened his hands and forcefully pushed Gu Huai away, guiding him toward the door.

“Get out, get out! I’m going to sleep!”

Using anger to mask the earlier lapse.

“This is also my bedroom. Where do you want me to go?”

After a moment of shock and confusion, Gu Huai swiftly reverted to his mischievous nature. He grabbed Mu Ci’s hand, leaned forward, and playfully kissed his fingertips.

“Why did you hug me just now? Huh? Are you moved by me?”

“I’m not!” The little Prince Mu Ci retorted, biting his lips in frustration. Unable to push Gu Huai away, he simply jumped out of bed, holding the quilt, attempting to escape.

Gu Huai promptly hugged his waist, pulling him back into his arms and tightly holding his wrist. Shards of the water glass Mu Ci had smashed on the floor were scattered, and Gu Huai couldn’t let him step on them with his bare feet.

“Don’t even think about cheating. I saw with my own eyes that you were hugging me and still holding on to my clothes. Believe it or not, I’ll check my fingerprints and put the evidence in front of you?”

The master of the Gu family was quite experienced in talking and cheating. He was very shameless, and Mu Ci, who was both thin-skinned and incapable of cheating, as restrained and speechless.

As he was pushed into a corner, he could only say, “It was an unintentional move just now; forget it.”

Gu Huai sighed, pretending to be elegant. “The person initiating the hug has no intention, and the person being hugged has intention…”

He faced Mu Ci and blew in his ear, saying, “Is that so, Xiao Qi?”

Mu Ci felt a chill in his heart, almost getting goosebumps all over his body. However, Gu Huai was still there, asking affectionately, “Can I also call you Xiao Qi? Is that okay?”

Mu Ci looked at his own hands, wishing he could scratch off that face with his claws.

Concentrating, Mu Ci pretended to be indifferent. “Only my father and concubine mother call me that. Dare to ask Mr. Gu whether he wants to be my father or my mother?”

Gu Huai smiled and said in an extremely flattering manner, “I want to be your husband.”

Before Mu Ci could curse, Gu Huai grabbed the other person’s chin, leaned over, and kissed him. While kissing, he dishonestly put his hand into Mu Ci’s clothes and stroked his body.

“I really miss you,” Gu Huai spoke into his ear, and the word ‘miss’ obviously had other, more explicit meanings.

Mu Ci stiffened and subconsciously wanted to push him away. He didn’t want to do it, but Gu Huai pulled open his pajamas and stirred up his passion, turning it into an irresistible force, like an arrow that had to be released.

This affair emerged suddenly but held such power by Gu Huai, who was abstained from sex for several months. Finally finding a breakthrough, he was now out of control.

Although Mu Ci wanted to resist, having recently confronted his childhood shadows, his mind wasn’t strong enough at this moment. His limbs were slow, so he reluctantly allowed Gu Huai to continue.

.

This intense love affair continued until midnight before coming to an end. Gu Huai contentedly embraced Mu Ci and joined him for a bath. He felt a bit anxious, fearing Mu Ci might get upset, jeopardizing his efforts.

However, perhaps due to exhaustion or lingering pleasure, Mu Ci meekly nestled in Gu Huai’s arms, eyes half-closed, not resisting even as Gu Huai cleaned his back. Despite a couple of soft whimpers, he didn’t protest.

As Gu Huai bathed him, he pondered whether Mu Ci accepted him in this way. Previously, Mu Ci had appeared uncomfortable in bed, but tonight, there was a hint of enjoyment.

If not for his unsteady heart tonight, Mu Ci might not have responded this way.

Gu Huai felt a mix of nervousness and excitement, akin to a complex blend of bitter medicine and candy. He was delighted that they had reestablished physical contact after many days, yet anxious that Mu Ci might awaken, returning them to their twisted and tumultuous relationship.

As his thoughts lingered, Gu Huai’s hands unconsciously halted their movements. Mu Ci, with drowsy eyes, uttered in a low voice, “What are you doing? Hurry up and finish washing… I’m so sleepy.” His voice was slightly hoarse, sounding impatient, yet devoid of any disgust or hatred.

Gu Huai’s heart skipped a beat, a sudden darkness was gone by a shining light. He leaned forward, kissing Mu Ci passionately, fingers rubbing through Mu Ci’s soft hair. “Don’t go to sleep now. Let’s continue in the bathroom!” he exclaimed.

“Beast.”

.

Regardless of how late he was tossing at night, Gu Huai unfailingly opened his eyes at six o’clock the next day. Meanwhile, Mu Ci still slept soundly beside him, naked under the quilt, pink hickeys decorating his exposed shoulders. The contrasting colors lent him an initially cute, but also somewhat terrifying, appearance.

In a rare moment of conscience, Gu Huai guiltily kissed Mu Ci’s lips upon waking. Not wanting to disturb him, he quietly got up and went to the bathroom.
