Chapter 50 - II
Gu Huai grinded his teeth behind her, and asked the woman who was sowing discord as amiably as possible: “Doctor Jiang, have you finished taking care of his wounds?”
Jiang Wenjing didn’t feel the danger approaching at all, nodded, “Okay, remember not to touch the water tonight.”
“I know, I will follow the doctor’s advice.” Then Gu Huai kicked the useless Dr. Jiang out of the door and closed it thoughtfully.
He opened the door again, and then scolded her in a calm manner: “You are really looking down on others. I am a hero who saves the beauty today.”
After he finished speaking, he saw Mu Ci looked at him, Gu Huai quickly cleared his throat again. He said softly: “It’s getting late; let’s take a rest.”
Mu Ci touched his face and nodded.
In fact, he was no longer particularly resistant to sleeping with Gu Huai. One night before, Gu Huai wanted to do something like that with him. Mu Ci was still mentally fragile at the time, and he was frightened all of a sudden. He didn’t even have the strength to resist, so he could only huddle in the quilt and tremble.
When the lustful Gu Huai saw Mu Ci’s snail appearance, he couldn’t do anything anymore. He gritted his teeth and endured it for a long time. He only kissed him a few times, then hurriedly tucked him into the quilt and turned to the bathroom to resolve himself.
Mu Ci was stunned at the time and climbed out of the quilt in a daze. The sound of rushing water came from the lit bathroom. This was the first time he recalled Gu Huai had made concessions in his love affairs, and after that, he really never touched Mu Ci again. All he did was took Mu Ci into his arms secretly at night while he was asleep.
Mu Ci felt that it was a lie if he could not be forgiven. He himself was an easily influenced person, but when he thought of what happened before, his calf bones ached, and his heart became sad.
The five slender fingers hidden under the quilt slowly tightened: there were still two months left, and with patience it would pass soon.
Mu Ci closed his eyes and was about to fall asleep. Not long after, Gu Huai’s body came to him silently in the darkness, his hands wrapped around his waist, and he caressed him gently.
Gu Huai’s hand seemed to have some kind of magic power, and sleepiness slowly surged up like a rising tide, and Mu Ci fell asleep just like that.
After a while, confirming that Mu Ci was asleep, Gu Huai quietly got up and left the room.
.
The Gu family had a very large basement, which was completely separated from the underground garage. The entrance was also very hidden. Only a few people knew the existence of this place. Even Mu Ci had never touched the basement door in all the months he had lived here.
Bai Ling had been waiting for a long time. When he saw Gu Huai pushing the door open, he hurried forward to greet him. Gu Huai raised his eyes and glanced at him, “Have you caught him?”
“Yes, he’s tied up inside.” Bai Ling stood behind Gu Huai and followed him inside, “He moved a little when we were arresting him. He punched and kicked, and now he is crying and howling, which made me annoyed, so we blocked his mouth.”
Gu Huai was noncommittal and walked a few more steps inside. The lights suddenly turned on, revealing a fat middle-aged man tied to a chair. His arms were tied behind his back, his mouth was stuffed with a rag, and he was howling like a mad dog.
Gu Huai smiled and straightened his collar, “Isn’t this Director Zhao? You’re fine.”
When Director Zhao saw Gu Huai, his eyes opened wide, and he shook his head in a whimper. The bodyguard removed the rag from his mouth. Director Zhao took a deep breath and cried out with snot and tears: “Mr. Gu, what are you doing? I really didn’t know that was yours. If I knew, I wouldn’t dare to lay a finger on him even if I had a hundred courage! Please do me a favor…”
“Do you remember what I said then?” Gu Huai leaned over slightly and looked at him. He said unhurriedly, “I told you that next time I see you, I will destroy your arm. Look, what a coincidence that we met again just a few hours apart.”
Director Zhao’s crying face suddenly froze. His eyes were black, his face was swollen, and he looked very ridiculous.
Gu Huai stood up straight, the smile at the corner of his mouth disappeared suddenly, and his cold and terrifying eyes looked down from above, making people feel a chill down their spine. “I, Gu Huai, have always been the same, and I never show mercy to anyone.”
He said, stretching out his hand. Bai Ling immediately took out the gun from his waist and handed it to Gu Huai.
Director Zhao screamed in horror. Before he could finish the shout, Gu Huai had already fired two bursts of bullets. The bullets whizzed into Director Zhao’s shoulder blades. The wounds immediately became bloody and gory, and blood gushed out.
The gunshot without a silencer was extremely deafening in the dull basement. Director Zhao’s miserable howl lasted for more than ten seconds. Gu Huai was so annoyed that he kicked his chair over.
Director Zhao overturned with the chair, hit the back of his head heavily on the floor, rolled his eyes, and fainted.
Gu Huai turned around and left, throwing the gun back into Bai Ling’s arms. “Throw him on the street. His fate will be determined if he is alive, or if he is dead.”
“Yes.” Bai Ling directed his hands to move Director Zhao’s heavy body, and couldn’t help but look back at Gu Huai. The man had already walked to the door, and his figure flashed past and disappeared behind the door.
But that figure was very tall and steady, and the shadow behind him was as black as ink. Only then did Bai Ling remember when he was seven years old, the Gu family was actually involved in the underworld, and Gu Huai at that time had long been infected with this outrageous coldness.
