After Marrying the Officer

Just after Xia Chuyi left, a staff member led a young man and woman to Professor Bao's place.

"Mr. Jackson, Miss Annie, this is Professor Bao's residence," the staff member said, pointing to the house where Professor Bao lived.

Annie looked at the residence from left to right for a good while before nodding her head.

It was a barely sufficient sign of approval for Professor Bao's living situation.

Jackson, who was standing beside her, was concerned with a different issue from his sister's. He asked the staff member, "Why aren't my Third Uncle and the others living in the Bao Mansion?"

Annie, hearing this, also eagerly asked, "Yes, why aren't my Third Uncle and his family staying in the Bao Mansion?"

"I heard Daddy and Mommy say that the Bao Mansion is very grand and luxurious, just like a palace!" Annie said, slightly excited.

The guide was an educator from Kyoto University.
