For the next few days, Tian Long spend his time contacting and visiting various elders from different forces. The meetings were held in secret and the proposal was simple, every sect would enroll their people in the military like normal citizens and based on the realm and aptitude the people would be segregated in different units.

The military would be a force that would act to safeguard the human race against the invading forces. However, this didn't mean that the sects would lose their status. They would still be the academies that would strive forward to spread their idea of immortality.

The only big change would be the collectiveness of these various ideas. Not many people were willing to come on board, however, when Tian Long showed them a few footage, and said, "If we waited for them to come inside the borders, then we are as good as dead. The only chance that we have is to take the fight to them as they don't expect this from us. We need not conquer them but we ought to safeguard the boundary of our realm because only then can the youth grow stronger."

The people were still skeptical, and one of them countered, "Who will lead this army? How will that decided?"

Tian Long replied, "The officers will be decided by two tests. One will be the test of strength, and the other would be the test of tactical knowledge.."

The words spread and the people kept discussing, meanwhile the skirmishes on the border amplified and they all had to buy defense equipment from the Asura Hall. Shi Lang didn't give them any discount because these weapons were not coming out of the wind. All the people took an year, and Shi Lang waited patiently. However, the difference between the forces of the Asura Hall and the rest of the human race was getting even more evident.

The Asura Hall battlefields were secure as if they didn't exist. Why? Because they implied a simple tactic, every invader that died, his head was chopped off and then it was positioned on a pike. There were hundreds of thousands such heads that the Asura Hall had used for display. They intimidated the enemy with pure brutality.

To make things worse for the enemy, Prince Beiming and Tian Long both were posted on the place to handle things if they went out of hands. None of the enemies expected a half step sage would welcome them. Although the two people followed the rules and didn't attack anyone below the Dao emperor rank.

After a whole year, the Asura Hall had now risen to another level. Shi Tao was a half-step sage in the Dao Fruit Realm. Amelia had finally caught up to the Dao Empress realm because of her premium five elemental physique. The three princesses have entered the realms of Dao Generals.

Hao Mei had grown even stronger and her alchemical prowess has increased as well. The entire Asura Hall had celebrated the new year with bliss. They were making money and they were getting stronger, so what else could they want? Shi Lang wasn't happy, many people noticed this and they also knew the cause.

Someone from the allied sects asked, "Hall Master Shi, why are you listless?"

Although Shi Lang had become a sage, he tried to maintain an amicable relation with the rest of the world. He sighed and said, "Sect Master Nera, I wonder what would happen to the human race once the invaders get an upper hand and it won't be too far that we and our children would be enslaved. May be my status could protect me and my family but what about the rest of the families in my sect? What about the rest of my human brothers and sisters?"

Sect Master Nera said, "Hall Master Shi, I agree with you, but what can you do when the others aren't ready to go ahead?"

Shi Lang looked at the man and said, "I can use my superior realm and go kill all those old relics who oppose me and then integrate their sects into mine until I unite the entire human force. What do you think, is this a good idea?"

Sect Master Nera froze, and along with him, the rest of the people also froze when they heard this. They looked at Shi Lang and they could sense something off about him. His spiritual energy was calm, but his eyes they were spewing flames. Sect Master Nera and the rest felt a shiver in their souls. They didn't expect that out of the blue Shi Lang would unleash the killer intent and this time it really targeted their soul.

They sensed a proper wave of destruction coming from Shi Lang. The man took a deep breath and said, "Hall Master Shi, you know that me and my forces have already formed an alliance with the Asura Hall. I have noticed personally the way this unity has benefitted the young talents of my sect. I will convince the other sects and see that they understand the importance of this proposal."

Shi Lang nodded and said, "Sect Master Nera had i wanted my own dominion then I wouldn't have waited for so long, giving those old relics to charge at the realm of sages. However, they have even yet to react the Dao Seed realm, how can they even last till they reach the Dao Tree realm if they continue at this pace and stay cooped up in their holes. Is that why they treaded so long on the path of cultivation? If that is so, then I feel shame for them and the entire race."

Sect Master Nera nodded slowly, he sensed the killing intent in Shi Lang's gaze vanished slowly, but it was scary and he was going to relay to the rest of the people as they were simply courting death.

After the annual celebration, a message was circulated around the immortal plane, that nothing was above a Sage. While some believed it, some looked down on the person. After a few days, Shi lang was sitting inside the barrier of the Asura Hall. At this moment, a loud voice disturbed him, and said, "Hall Master Shi, I, Sect Master Nebral, of the Nebula Star sect has come to seek your advice on my martial path. I wonder if you could enlighten this poor farmer."

Shi Lang smiled and then he said, "I have been waiting for someone to take the bait, good, come."
