Ace Of Terrans

Shi Lang and Hou Bing stood at the coast of the Western Continent sensing the aura of death lingering in the void. The young man asked, "Can you tell me why the world is dying?"

Hou Bing nodded with a solemn expression on her face and said, "The world is based on Dao. All the life comes from Dao, and goes back in it as well. Supreme Zen wants to replace the Dao, he wants to ascend into a being that is comparable to Dao. Every cultivator challenges the limits set upon them from the moment, they are born. They compete with themselves and chase the Dao but they never try to replace it.

Zen is corrupting the mind of the people around him. The corruption is causing the Dao to weaken here and thus without the support of the great Dao, everything is gradually dying. Be it humans, or be it the nature."

Shi Lang nodded and asked, "Why not stop him before all this turns bad?"

Hou Bing shook her head and said, "Although the four holy beasts appear to be omnipotent, but we lack the power to intervene in the fate of different worlds. None of the four holy beasts can harm humans unless they attack us. Zen learned about this fact and used it to his gains. He exploited the fact that everyone in the world has the power to decide their own path."

Shi Lang nodded, and then he said, "Well, let's go in and see if we can do anything to help the people before tackling Zen. I am sure that asshole must have created a huge circle of security to advance his realm. Like Dao Saint, this fucker needs to die before he can be anything."

Hou Bing nodded and took a step forward, suddenly, she lost her footing and Shi Lang supported her. He looked at her face, and found her forehead laced with cold sweat. He then asked, "What is going on? How are you so weak?"

The young lady sighed and said, "This region is a negative buff. Without the presence of Dao, Holy Dao Beasts like me, who are made up from Dao essence struggle to survive."

Shi Lang sighed and then said, "Then what are you doing here, go back."

Hou Bing looked at him as she asked, "You intend to go crazy fighting when I am not here."

The Terran narrowed his gaze and said, "I swear I will not fight crazily until they force me to."

Hou Bing looked at him and said, "Lang, don't destroy the world, that is all."

Shi Lang nodded hurriedly and then pushed her towards the see and swished his hands, "Off you go, have a safe trip. Do you want my spirit vessel?"

Hou Bing didn't say much but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. She knew that Shi Lang was a menace and he loved to create chaos, so she was worried that he might harm the already spiralling nature here.

Shi Lang watched her fly away and then he clapped his hands together and moved deeper in the western direction. He wanted to find out what was exactly going on in this land. After a couple of days, he found a small village beside a stream that was rushing to the ocean. He found that the village had about seven hundred people, and they were all listlessly doing their thing while chanting sutras.

He sighed, Shi Lang knew that if he had to deal with this, he needed to do it quickly, he could not save all of the western continent by creating isolation barriers on his own, but since he came across this village, he would first clean it up and then go to other places.

He took out a few jades and then began to cast an array around the Village, he activated it and entered the village boundaries. There were no guards, but some young monks. Shi Lang directly invoked his supreme aura and they gave up any thought of resisting him. They were all teenagers and didn't have a significant attainment in the Zen Buddha Path.

Moving along the young man found a senior monk sitting in the centre of the village, under a big banyan tree and he was chanting sutra's as well. He sighed and walked up to the middle-aged man. His approach was violent and the monk woke up. He looked at Shi Lang in surprised and then he was forced to kneel. Shi Lang patted the head of the monk and dispelled the spirit imprint on his soul before he asked, "Are you awake now?"

The monk's dazed eyes sparkled and he looked up to Shi Lang and said, "Thank you senior."

The Terran nodded and said, "From now, your task is to chant the awakening Sutras and awaken these people and your disciples as well. The world would end if you gave into the devil."

The monk was in tears already, he said, "We never realized that the Buddha Son could cause this."

Shi Lang shook his head and waved his hand as he said, "It is dangerous outside, you must stay inside the village borders, or that bastard would take control of your mind again. If someone comes to see you, act as if you are still loyal to Zen."

The monk was surprised but then he nodded and said, "I will heed your command."

That said, Shi Lang decided to leave the village and began to travel around the Western Continent. The place was supposed to be prosperous but it appeared to be struggling. Shi Lang has visited many towns and villages on the way, after seven days of traveling through around fifteen towns and villages they found that the situation in all of them was roughly the same. One of the biggest towns he found in the surroundings was suffering from the worst effect.

He concluded one thing, the bigger the locality, the stronger the monk they had to govern. Although, till now Shi Lang didn't find any single monk in a Dao Realm. Yet the damage to the world has caused him to grow bitter. He was hating Zen supreme with every passing day.

Soon, after talking to the monk responsible for looking after the last town he was in, he located a big city. Shi Lang decided to rely on the most efficient method to deal with the people. He was going to kill the big monks who don't wake up with his supreme Influence.

Since they feared Zen so much, he was going to wake them up and become a demon. Shi Lang approached a big city; he entered the gates after knocking out the city patrol. Zen had planned a big game; he had his monks overtake all the important positions.

The young man did not care, he moved through the city and the people who saw him knelt on the ground, they woke up from the daze cast by the chant influence. Shi Lang invoked his Dao Emperor Crown and the fifth petal of the lotus created ripples in the surroundings destroying the shallow soul imprints on the souls of the various people.

However, that came to an end when he reached in the vicinity of the City Palace. He found that many people were unwilling to wake up. He grasped the void and Raksha appeared. The Terran said in a sonorous tone, "You all are heathens who spread the wrong Dao, causing the spirit of this continent to suffer. You are the cause of the declining vitality of the world, and only your blood can cleanse the sins you have committed."

His voice echoed through the city and then began a slaughter. Shi Lang walked through the city palace and his feet left bloody marks wherever he went. Many people shivered at the sight. The streams of blood were literally flowing out of the city palace, and screams of agony shook the void.

Then Shi Lang appeared in the void and he was facing an old monk, who pushed his palm towards him. However, Shi Lang was unbothered, his attack tore through the defences and dispelled the attacks of the old monk. Then Shi Lang cruelly sliced his body in two from head to toe.

The monk fell on the dome of the City Palace, and his blood stained the dome. It was an eery sight, but Shi Lang said, "Those who dare think they can replace the Dao with their own petty virtue will meet the same ending. Even if I do the same thing someday, someone from the crowd will come to kill me. Supreme Zen is not a humble monk, but he has fallen to the evil ways of the demons. He needs to be purged along with his minions."

That said he vanished from the void and appeared some distance away. The people were thrown in an uproar and this incident caused waves in the surrounding cities as well. Shi Lang was going to attack the monks in big cities, and also pull them to come after him too, so that the citizen could wake up.
