A Villainous Aristocrat’s Pursuit of Peace ~ Reincarnated as the Most Talented Mage in History, I’ll Achieve Supremacy in order to live a peaceful life with My Maid~

Chapter 34

Jin had no idea he was caught up in a complicated conversation at the principal’s office. Instead, he had returned to the inn where he was staying with Mea using [Coordinate Transfer].

‘Hmm? Is it really okay for me to be with Mea?’

‘Of course, it’s obviously not okay, isn’t it? I mean, I’m a high school boy in the prime of my youth, and even though I claim to have memories from my past life, I can’t remember my age, so my mental age is about that of a high school student. I’m just trying my best to control myself so I won’t mess things up.’

However, after spending ten years together, Mea seemed to let her guard down around Jin, to an almost alarming extent.

For instance, she would casually enter his bathroom wearing only a single towel while he was there, and when they went to sleep, she would wear a thin nightgown without a bra and sleep close to him.

Jin couldn’t help but feel a sense of superiority, thinking that maybe she trusted him, but to be honest, it was quite challenging.

He used to get frustrated when protagonists in romantic comedies didn’t make any moves, but now he felt like apologizing to all of them. He realized he was just as much of a coward as they were.

As Jin mentally prostrated to the protagonists of romantic comedies, Mea approached from behind.

Since it was still morning, she was wearing her maid uniform.

“…How did the punishment go?” she asked tentatively.

“It was a one-week suspension, masked as a vacation,” Jin replied.

“I see… Is that just right, or should I say, unlucky…” Mea said with a somewhat awkward expression.

Perplexed, Jin opened the letter Mea handed him.

From whom? he wondered. The letter was direct:

“Jin, come back to our home.

This is an order from the head of the family.”

Blake Divinesword

… sigh…jin inhales deeply…

“Who the hell said I’m coming back, you idiots!!! You abandoned meeeeeeee!!”

He tore up the letter with all his might and threw it away.

“You’ve come a long way, Jin.”

“As expected of my child, Jin!”

“It’s been a while, Jin! I’ve missed you!”

Yes, in the end, I came back despite saying all that.

It didn’t take much time because it was just an instant with [Teleportation].

The reason I decided to return home this time was to extort compensation for all the things they had done to me and to give them a warning to stay away from me and Mea in the future.

I’ve already talked to Mea about it, and it seems she has a special position, so she can quit the Divinesword family anytime she wants. She said, with a smile, “I won’t say anything anymore. Do whatever you want.”

So, that’s why he came back here.

But… the turn of events is just cruel.

His father hasn’t changed much, but his mother, who used to constantly subject him to violence, has managed to hide her madness quite well, and his brother is wearing a smile he has never seen before.

Honestly, it’s more than unsettling.

He casually pulled away from his mother’s embrace and removed his brother’s hand from his shoulder, giving them a disdainful look.

“Don’t touch me, you trash. My body is not cheap enough for the likes of you to touch.”

“What!? You’re my child! Why can’t I touch you!?”

The mother, who had been pushed away by Jin, said such ridiculous things, that he decided to speak up on his own behalf.

“How dare you… say something like that,” Jin seethed, his voice dripping with anger and disgust. “As soon as you realized I had no talent for the sword, all you did was spew abusive words, beat me, and kick me. You’ve never done anything motherly for me. No matter how hard I tried, I never received a single word of praise.”

Approaching his mother, Jin locked eyes with her and glared, his expression filled with resentment.

“The only motherly figure I recognise is Mea,” he growled. “She raised me with love and care. You’re nothing more than the person who gave birth to me. So… stop pretending to be my mother, you worthless woman. It makes me sick.”

As Jin released his killing intent, he turned his gaze away from his unconscious mother and directed it towards his older brother.

“And you, older brother,” Jin sneered. “You claimed to miss me… but was it because you wanted to use me as a punching bag? Or were you trying to butter me up because you were afraid of retaliation?”

“N-No, it’s not like that…” his brother stammered.

“Well, it doesn’t matter either way,” Jin spat. “I just want to give you a taste of your own medicine.”

He activated [Body Enhancement], surrounded himselg with multiple layers of magic to keep the head of the family from interfering, and then delivered a full-force punch to his brother’s face.

Crack! With the sound of his jaw breaking, his brother, who couldn’t react at all, was sent flying, crashing through the office wall and falling outside.

People in this world are quite resilient, so falling from the third floor wouldn’t kill him, so he let him be.

Finally, he turned his attention to Blake, the head of the family. A handsome man around 40, resembling him, with his face twisted in response to his magic.

By the way, his father and the head of the family, Blake, did the least among them all.

He never hurled abuse or physically assaulted him.

He was just completely indifferent.

But that indifference hurt Jin’s young heart more than anything else.

In fact, if this man had been violent towards him, he probably wouldn’t be alive now.

After all, he’s the former strongest swordsman in the kingdom.

“…I know that you abandoned me.”

“That was inevitable. Balancing both families’ relations and Jin as a bargaining chip, improving the relations between both families was deemed more important.”

“Of course, I understand that. So, I’m not here to do anything like those two. This is just a warning.”

“!?”

He deactivated his magic for a moment and, instead, used [Short-Range Teleportation] to position himself behind his father. Then, he activated [Mimicry Magic Trace] to deflect the sword he held and placed a dagger against his carotid artery.

With the dagger pressed against his father’s carotid artery, Jin continued to speak.

“You see, Father, I don’t intend to harm you. But I want to make something very clear. Me and Mea, we’re leaving this family, and we won’t be coming back. You won’t see us again, and you won’t interfere with us.”

Jin’s father, Blake, had a tense expression, his face contorted with fear and uncertainty.

“J-Jin, please, let’s talk this out,” he pleaded.

Jin didn’t waver. “There’s nothing to talk about. This is a warning. If you or anyone from this family tries to follow us or cause trouble for us in any way, I won’t hesitate to end it all.”

Tears welled up in his father’s eyes, but Jin didn’t show any mercy. He needed to make it clear that he and Mea were not to be messed with.

“Remember this well, Father. This is your only chance to avoid tragedy. Now, I’ll leave this place, and you’ll never see us again.”

With that, Jin withdrew the dagger, deactivated his magic, and turned to leave the room. The atmosphere was heavy with tension, and the family he had once been a part of was left behind, shattered and in shock.

“Jin, you… ”

“Don’t come near me, Father. And provide me with the living expenses and school fees until I graduate, right now.”

“If I refuse…?”

Jin placed the dagger against his father’s carotid artery and made a shallow cut.

“I’ll kill you once, resurrect you, and make the same demand again.”

“Fine. I’ll get it for you right away.”

With that, the butler left the room and returned after a while with a large leather bag filled with gold coins.

Jin used magic to store the bag in a pocket dimension, then slowly moved away from his father and activated a certain spell.

“―――[Forced Contract]――― Condition: Do not harm Jin and Mea in any way. With this, you won’t be able to do anything to us. Well then, it’s goodbye forever.”

Jin activated [Transfer] and simultaneously released the coordinates of this house.

“…Did this clear your mind a bit, Jin?”

I accidentally did this chapter in 3rd person pov. Sorry!!
