A System That Gives Second Chances

Chapter 4: Part 4. Almost Late to the Mission

Julia gave Andalas an annoyed look, the sun was already above her head, but Andalas still hadn't woken up from her sleep. "What a stubborn man, told to rest, but busy reading everything on that watch. He must complete this mission immediately if he wants to level up. If it's like this, how can he level up?" Julia was annoyed.

"Come on, wake up, stubborn man, my fate is in your hands. If you don't reach the same level as me, I will be forced to accept marriage with that Demitri!" annoyed Julia.

Julia continued to grumble, she could not wake Andalas at all. Because if she did, then Andalas would fail this mission, and he would have to repeat the mission from the beginning. Moreover, this is only level two, where it is possible that Andalas will be returned to his world according to the rules of the system.

At eight o'clock at night, Andalas woke up from his sleep. He stretched his body and slowly opened his eyes. He frowned when he opened his eyes the sky was still night. "Ah, I just slept for a while, but I feel like my body has been sleeping for a long time," said Andalas, then he took mineral water from his bag.

After drinking, he checked his watch, he rubbed his eyes to make sure the watch showed what time. Andalas immediately stood up when he realized that it was already night, not himself, who only slept for a short time. A scroll that he didn't realize he had been holding fell down, making Andalas pause and check the scroll. The scroll that turned out to be a map showing if he had to collect iron and red gems was increasingly found, as well as other gems.

Andalas did not miss a single one that he passed to get to the place where he had to make long and large irons or small irons. Before morning, Andalas was able to complete his mission thanks to the help of the gems and tools he got while traveling to his mission site, so that everything felt easy.

Andalas sighed as he leaned against a pillar because he was very tired. An apple throw that hit his head made Andalas, who was closing his eyes, now open his eyes.

"You idiot!" said a female voice that was standing not far from Andalas. A female voice that Andalas recognized.

Andalas took the apple, he washed the apple with his drinking water and ate the fruit. Not caring at all about the swearing of the woman who had brought him to this world. A world where he now feels his life is more vibrant and has goals to achieve. He even ignored the fact that he might one day have to accept that this was just a pipe dream or that everything he had done was just work in vain. Most importantly, he now had the enthusiasm to live life because he always wanted to complete the mission and could not wait to get the next mission he had to do again.

"Tsk! This guy, really!" Julia was annoyed at being ignored by Andalas.

Julia now sat next to Andalas and took out a basket of fruits for them. "I can only give you this, for other food, you can get it yourself, and I'm sure you know how to get the food you want," said Julia, who looked at Andalas eating the apple comfortably.

"Thank you," said Andalas as he turned to Julia.

"Don't push yourself if you're tired. Love and pay attention to yourself too, because your body deserves to be loved and paid attention to by you. Don't just care about your ego to have everything that you forget to pay attention to yourself," Julia said.

"Because I want to love myself and make myself happy, so I have to make my ego happy too. I have to feed my ego so that I can love myself," Andalas said and stood up from her seat.

"Thank you for the fruit," Andalas said as he handed over the basket of fruit.

"I'll have two more, okay?" asked Andalas as he took two large apples.

"This is for all of you," said Julia as she held out the fruit basket to Andalas.

"Already, this is it. These two apples and the apple I ate earlier are more than enough. Once again, thank you for your help and the fruit you gave me," Andalas said with a smile, making Julia instantly silent because she saw a smile from Andalas.

"I'm going," Julia said and disappeared from there, but she did not take the fruit basket with her.

Andalas looked at the basket of fruit, "It's a shame if I don't take it. But if I carry the basket of fruit, it will make me easily tired of having to carry the fruit," Andalas said, looking at the fruit sadly.

During his life, he lived very simply. He could not afford to buy the fruits in the basket. He could only buy one or two fruits, and being able to eat three meals a day was really lucky for him.

At seven in the morning, Andalas got the mission map again. This time, Andalas got a mission to clear the grass on a large area of land. As well as building a road for him to reach the next mission building. This time he didn't get any gems to add to his strength. Andalas bought an automatic lawn mower in exchange for the gems he had. The mower is very sophisticated and does not need to be moved by humans.

Meanwhile, he built a road to get to the next mission building with the stones he got on the grass field. To get to the next location, Andalas really had to read the map well. He even measured the fast distance to get to the building. There are several map lines directing the fast way to get to the next mission building. However, Andalas did not use the instructions on the map. He made his own coordinates and thought that the road he made was faster than the one on the map.

Andalas continued to focus on making his way until he didn't feel hungry at all, even though it was already noon. But Andalas, who is focused on his workers, does not seem to feel hungry at all.

The basket of fruits that Julia had left behind, Andalas brought, but he did not eat. Instead, he broke the fruits to spread the seeds, and who knows if there are animals that will eat them? Moreover, in a large area full of grass, there must be small animals. He had ruined their homes and probably their food, so he replaced them with the fruits. Every few steps he built the road, he would break some fruits and scatter them. Andalas really only focused on making the road until it didn't feel like it was getting dark, making Andalas stop his activities.
