A Serpent's Tale

Chapter 76: Date (1/3)

I'd bought myself a ruby coloured dress to wear out on our date. I didn't know what Cythistia bought but I would soon find out.

I wasn't in her room so I didn't spoil the surprise of what she was wearing, I wanted to see her beauty all at once, show her my genuine reaction. I knew she would be beautiful but like her, we had servants dressing us up.

The maids that were helping me did my hair in a somewhat half frizzled half straight pattern that was tied up into thin locks that cascaded down my back like a serene waterfall. They also applied some glossy red lipstick to my lips.

I took a look at myself in the mirror and thought that I looked pretty good. With the dress accenting the curves of my lustful figure, the colour of the dress itself almost melding with my shining scales that blending well with the sparkling of the dress. My hair adding an extra layer of beauty to me, and the lipstick adding a layer of sexiness.

"Just a couple more adjustments and you'll look absolutely stunning." One of them said to me before dragging me over to the dressing table again. This time to apply some make up to me.

They asked me to close my eyes and then fiddled with my eyelashes a little bit before adding some cosmetics to the rest of my face.

I opened my eyes and looked at the mirror that rested atop the dressing table, and just as the maid said, I looked absolutely stunning. With this I think I was ready to go out with Cythistia.

The maids gave me a cheerful goodbye and wished me well on my date, they were clearly exited to have helped me with this endeavour.

I went into the hallway and went over towards Cythistia's room, where she was also getting ready. I reached her doors and knocked on them. The door opened and a maid came out to tell me that they were still getting her ready and that I should wait a little while longer.

There wasn't really anywhere to wait so I just waited off to the side on the opposite wall so that I could see her in full glory.

It felt like ages had passed by but I think only ten minutes had actually passed. And when those ten minutes were up Cythistia came out, and what a sight.

My jaw dropped from her stunningly gorgeous visage. Her blond hair tied up in thin braids that shone in the light. Her lips laced in a shimmering pink colour that seemed to extrapolate her cuteness even more, the blush on her face accenting this feature further.

As for her clothes, she was wearing a green dress that extended all over both halves of her body. It perfectly exemplified her upper halves femimine features in a cute and sexy manner while making her lower half look strong and comforting, like it would always be there with you.

When I finally regained consciousness, I saw that she also had a stupefied look on her face while staring at me. I slithered over to her and she also came out of her trance. I took her hands and pulled her down a little, flustering her.

"E-EH?!"

*SMOOCH*

I gave her a little peck on the lips, causing her whole face and even her ears to turn red like a tomato. Still holding her hand, I dragged her off so that we could get started with our date.

"E-E-E-EH!?" She cried out, still shocked and embarrassed by my dominant actions. I didn't pay attention to them though as I knew she would go along with anything anyways.

We then left the manor and walked out into the open streets, which garnered the attention of everyone, even the guards at the entrance of the manor. Our stellar looks were enough to stun lock everyone who saw us.

I blushed a fair bit with all of the stares sent our way, I took a glance and saw that Cythistia was also blushing, not a hard as when I gave her a kiss but probably the same as I was right now.

We decided to ignore the crowd and moved over to the commerce district as that was where the best place for romance was, it having all the restaurants and stuff.

I'd been researching these things in my spare time and had planned out some places to go to for our date. My love had done the same and we were going to go to as many of these places we could today, we might go to the rest tomorrow but it's said to rain tomorrow so we'll probably just head home.

Anyways we reached the market district where all there were various streets of stalls selling lots of things in them. We went down the left one first and browsed the many wares that were being sold there, which mostly consisted of jewellery.

I found this pretty little necklace that had a silver leaf on the end with blue veins on it and I thought that would be a great gift for my Stag lover and her blue eyes. I bought it for ten gold which might seem like a lot but again, I'd saved up over a thousand for this day so I was free to spend it, and what better way to spend it than on my cute Stag lover.

I went back over to her as she was browsing the stalls and presented it to her.

"O-Oh... For me?" She asked as her cheeks flushed once more and her eyes darted downwards to avoid looking at me, most likely out of sheer embarrassment as she held her cheek with one arm and pointed at my gift with the other.

"Mhmm!" I affirmed and undid the catch on the back and hooked it around her neck making her blush and stammer wordlessly. To top it off I gave her a quick kiss on the lips and slipped back to take a look at her once more, this time with the necklace on her.

It added an extra shine to her beauty. not enough to completely change her look but just enough to add on to her already exquisite looks.

We went around the stalls some more, buying a couple more gifts for each other. I gave her a shiny red metallic ring in the shape of a serpent with an amber crystal embedded into the eye to represent myself and in return she gave me a silver ring which had a bark like engravings on it with light sapphire blue leaves on top, meant to represent her and her job.

After we were done shopping for gifts and trinkets we went over to the next street where all the food vendors were. We got a few kebabs from some of the stalls, mainly just meat kebabs. The texture was the same for all of them was the same but that hardly mattered as it was the sauces that made them special.

In total we tried seven kebabs. One was sweet and spicy, another was somewhat tangy with a hint of sweetness to it. We got two of each of those, they were too good not to get one for each of us. Then the last three were spicy and savoury, just sweet and finally the last one was sweet and salty. Overall, they were all very good and if not for the other things we wanted to do today we would've had more.

By the time we'd finished resisting our rumbling stomach it was nearing noon so we would probably have lunch after doing one of the activities we'd planned to go and do.
