A rare magical miracle in the world

Chapter 333: The Ancient Tree of the World (Requesting Monthly Pass)

"What is this place?"

In the void world, Bailuo silently floated where there was nothing at all.

Darkness?

Bailuo couldn't tell if this place was very dark.

It might be, or it might not.

Because darkness didn't represent the absence of everything; at the very least, there was darkness here.

But this place was neither white nor black, nor was it any other color. Bailuo felt like he could 'see' it, but it seemed not with his eyes.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, Bailuo saw a brilliant light.

Yes, light. He saw light.

It was like the cosmic colors of the universe, and Bailuo couldn't describe it with any known color. If he had to forcefully define it, Bailuo thought this might be 'cosmic color', the true color of the cosmos.

Not black, not simply bright, this was its real appearance.

"Dawnlight."

The word popped into Bailuo's mind. This brilliance was not light, but the civilization and wisdom that illuminated ignorance, darkness, and chaos.

They brought innovation, and they brought creation!

"Is this the creation myth of Dawn and Dusk?"

This was what Bailuo originally thought, but soon he realized he was wrong, because in the unfathomable depths, enormous figures, whose true size was indiscernible, began to emerge.

They appeared human-like, yet seemed to be made of glass.

These unknown creatures were transparent throughout their beings; one could see the universe within them as well as the void behind them.

"What are they doing?"

Wandering through darkness and the void, these ancient, humanoid beings waved their arms, scattering down shiny, seed-like objects.

And so, as seedlings break through the soil, the radiating, tender twigs began to grow.

In the blink of an eye, a majestic tree stood before Bailuo.

No, it shouldn't be called a majestic tree.

Rather than calling it a tree, it was as if the world had crackled, and those luminous cracks had been perceived by Bailuo as 'trees'.

World Tree

The information about this entity once again jumped into Bailuo's mind.

This tree was indeed the World Tree, not the one from Northern European mythology, but as the carrier, framework, and foundation of the world, it was the essence of the world itself.

And on every leaf of the World Tree, on every branch, there was a spherical orb bearing within it a brilliant starlight and a dense galaxy as if unlimited.

"Is this also a creation myth? The creation myth of Miracle World?"

"Boom~~~"

As Bailuo pondered, those giant shadows began to move; they buried 'seeds' again, nurturing the sprouts once more.

Thus, World Trees continually burst from the void, growing robustly.

The shadows toiled like Tree Shepherds, working diligently.

If the World Tree created worlds, then these vast shadows were the planters of the World Trees; the seeds they sowed were the roots of worlds.

"What exactly are these things?"

"Why do they show me this?"

Bailuo was puzzled, but soon he received the answer he sought.

One of the shadows looked up, its face filled with terror, and at the far end of its gaze, an unimaginable force swept over the entire world Bailuo could see.

"Twilight!"

Almost instantaneously, Bailuo realized the true essence of this power—it was indeed Twilight.

But at this time, Twilight was not a sword; it had no form, yet it possessed unimaginably formidable strength.

The giant tree that bore the world turned to dust under the power of Twilight, and the massive shadowy figures tried to resist but couldn't even do so for a moment before being pierced through and easily obliterated.

"Boom!"

"Boom!!"

Just as Twilight wreaked havoc and the entire primordial world was nearly torn asunder, a drumming sound reached Bailuo's ears. Your next chapter awaits on My Virtual Library Empire

He saw a silhouette raising its arms high, stirring the endless remnants of the World Tree, the corpses of fallen figures, and many other things beyond Bailuo's understanding and imagination, starting to forge a power that could counteract Twilight.

Finally, the Sword of Dawnlight appeared.

Its relation to Dawnlight was just like the Sword of Twilight that Bailuo held in his hand to Twilight.

Dawnlight had existed since ancient times, but it was too powerful to really descend into the world or exist within it.

However, the colossal figures, with vast concepts as their foundation, finally forged the Divine Artifact capable of carrying Dawnlight.

"Roar!!!"

The next moment, the enormous figures lifted Dawnlight high, and with each swing, it was as if the entire world roared in defiance against Twilight, resisting the inevitable doom.

The world sought eternity, but Twilight was destined to bring all things to their end.

Only this time, it was Dawnlight that triumphed.

The figures wielding Dawnlight defeated Twilight, successfully protecting this world, and thereafter, whenever Twilight reemerged, they expelled it with all their might.

Originally, this was the ultimate solution to the problem.

Twilight had no form, like an outsider, while Dawnlight fought on its home turf, leading the entire world in resisting the end-times catastrophe.

As long as this continued, the world would exist forever, and Dawnlight would always be stronger than Twilight.

Then the world would be eternal. Dawnlight would continue to create new things, and the whole world would grow larger and larger until it was truly infinite.

"What kind of epoch was that, and what kind of world?"

Bailuo took a sharp breath, thinking, if Dawnlight could create anything, would there still be a problem of distribution?

Materials are distributed because they are finite.

But what if they were infinite?

Dawnlight could create something out of nothing. Whatever you wanted, you could tell Dawnlight, and it would provide for you.

"These shadows, were they the primordial deities?"

Bailuo had not seen any life forms like 'humans'; he had only seen shadows, indicating that at the very beginning, these shadows were the true masters of the world.

They required no food or drink, had no concept of life or death, pursued no power, and did not compare themselves to one another.

If he had to describe it, Bailuo felt that each of these shadows was a benevolent saint.

They devoted themselves wholeheartedly, striving to create more things, asking nothing of the world in return, nor did they dominate or oppress it.

They were like a worker who had found their favorite job.

Creating every day was their happiest moment, and seeing their own creations brought them immense joy.

What kind of society was that?

But every individual possessed almost infinite power; when they needed no resources, anything they wanted, they could create on their own.

They never grew bored, for they were always creating new things.

There was no end to making, no limit to seeing, no boundary to reach.

Creating the world was a joy at the start, and continuously creating the world was joy unending.

At this point, Bailuo felt that the only thing these shadows had to worry about seemed to be external forces like Twilight.
