Chapter 71
Chapter 70: Unchanging Ending
Professor Tywin was going to tell Dumbledore something, and he insisted.
This gesture surprised William.
Dumbledore glanced at the Quidditch match that had already started, and said, “Since Professor Tywin is in such a hurry, come to my office and talk.”
William breathed a sigh of relief. If Tywin went to Dumbledore’s office, there should be no chance to commit the crime for the time being.
However, William had some doubts.
Listening to Dumbledore’s meaning, he was going to the Ravenclaw Tower, so how did Tywin commit crimes under the headmaster’s eyes?
The three returned to the third floor in the same way. After reaching the door, William did not go in.
“Professor Dumbledore, I’ll wait for you to finish talking.”
Dumbledore nodded and walked in with Tywin.
William just stood at the window and continued to watch the game.
He has seen the content of the game yesterday, but he is still watching it with relish.
After an unknown amount of time, the monster suddenly came alive, jumped aside, and the wall behind it cracked in half.
Tywin walked out from the inside. With a smile on his face, he glanced at William thoughtfully, turned and walked towards the first floor, as if he was going to watch the game.
After a while, Dumbledore walked out from the inside with a grim look on his face, and said, “William, as you can see, Professor Tywin didn’t steal the knocker or attack…”
Just as his voice fell, a messy footstep sounded, and Professor Snape rushed upstairs with his wand.
He was covered in blood.
“Headmaster,” Snape said quickly, ‘something happened, a student died.”
William took a sharp breath, and he clenched the ring on his index finger, his fingers turning white.
“Who died?!”
Snape was not used to a student talking to him like this, but replied, “Ravenclaw prefect, Robert Hilliard.”
William stood stiffly for a while, his mind began to be confused.
Professor Tywin just came out of Dumbledore’s office, he didn’t have time to commit the crime, but Robert was still dead?
Who did it? Did William guess wrong?
William has come to the Ravenclaw lounge countless times, but he has never sprinted past like this.
Running not far from the Ravenclaw wooden door, William felt himself moving forward in a trance.
Robert just lay on the ground like that, his left eye socket was empty, and the bloodstains had dried up. Apart from that, there were no other signs of violence, and a horrified expression appeared on his face, as if he had seen a terrible scene before he died.
Not far from Robert, a large hole appeared in the wooden door, and the eagle-shaped door knocker disappeared again.
William knew that he still had a ring on his hand.
Dumbledore crouched on the ground, examining Robert’s wound.
“It’s Avada’s life, Headmaster.” Snape wiped the blood from his face.
“Yes,” came Dumbledore’s serious voice, and turned to be puzzled, “but how can…”
Dumbledore stared at Robert’s empty eyes and turned his body over.
The missing left eye hung completely above the wooden door and was blocked by Robert’s body.
A large pool of black blood splattered around the eyes, like messy graffiti, but when you look closely, it forms a long outline, pointing to the ground!
Dumbledore’s voice sounded, as if explaining to William.
“The Eye of Horus, this symbol is very rare now, but it has appeared many times in history, and it is the most coveted and mysterious symbol of ancient warlocks.”
Professor Snape was also puzzled and asked, “Then what does it mean for the other party to leave such a mark?”
“In the traditional sense, Severus, it’s for resurrection.”
“Resurrection… what?” William asked.
Dumbledore motioned Snape to transfer Robert’s body, he straightened his waist and said, “For thousands of years, the ‘Eye of Horus’ has been endowed with a meaning of resurrection.
Briefly, it was a symbol that represented the resurrection of some great man—an ancient sorcerer, a pharaoh, an emperor, and of course—Voldemort. ”
Snape’s hand holding the wand trembled, and his face was hidden in the shadows, making it impossible to see.
“Okay, Severus, things don’t have to be that bad,” Dumbledore said. “Transfer this child’s body to the school hospital, and wait for me there.”
“But……”
“What happened to you, tell me later, I have other things. Let’s go, William.”
Dumbledore supported William by the shoulders and led him downstairs.
“Where are we going, Professor?”
William could still see the Quidditch arena, where fierce matches were taking place, but the noise seemed like a lifetime away.
“Let’s go and see Professor Tywin. You said that Robert would be killed. This has already happened, and Professor Tywin is probably the worst…”
“But, I don’t understand…”
“Why does Robert still get killed when Tywin is in my office, right?” Dumbledore seemed to be able to see what William was thinking.
William nodded and said, “Also, Professor Tywin just went to the first floor, how could he…”
Dumbledore whispered in a calm, soft voice: “My child, I think that’s why you were called here.”
“Called?” William rubbed the ring, bewildered.
Dumbledore stopped talking, but strode ahead.
The two quickly arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts office.
Dumbledore took out his wand~www.readwn.com~ and clicked the door lock. The door was blown open, and half of the wall collapsed.
William’s eyelids twitched. He felt that Dumbledore could be a little gentler and less violent.
Dumbledore walked through the smoke, looking around first, then heading straight for the bathroom.
Different from yesterday’s Tywin, he is not cold yet, but he is dying.
Tywin’s chest rose and fell sharply, blood continued to seep out of the corners of his mouth, and he couldn’t say a word.
But his elbows were tensed, his fingers gripped the edge of the toilet tightly, and he seemed to want to struggle to get up.
Tywin’s pupils began to diverge, his vision blurred, but for some reason, he still recognized Dumbledore.
He wanted to speak, but he couldn’t utter a word. Instead, the blood gushed from the corner of his mouth more and more.
Dumbledore stretched out his hand and lightly pressed against his chest. Where the tentacles were, the bones were shattered, and the robe was soaked with blood and was warm.
Dumbledore bent down and shook his head slightly.
“We’re late, William.”
William was silent, his brows furrowed, things were beyond his imagination.
“This means that Quidditch needs to end.” Dumbledore raised his wand and summoned a silver phoenix.
“The final is suspended, and everyone returns to their common room under the protection of the professor.”
The big silver guy circled William twice, he felt warm, and then, Phoenix broke through the glass and flew towards the Quidditch arena.
“Come on, go to my office, we need to have a good talk.”
Dumbledore turned and left, not even looking at Professor Tywin’s body.
